Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nicest Holiday Inn! We stayed at the Holiday Inn Cherry Creek as part of a large wedding block. The only negative was that we didn't realize that check in was at 4 PM and, since we were the first to arrive, we had to wait to get in our rooms. However, we spoke to the desk about the family that was arriving the next day and they were able to have their rooms ready by noon. Otherwise, our experience was outstanding. Lovely spacious rooms, pleasant and friendly staff, located on a main blvd that made it easy to get to different places for the wedding events, near Target and Whole Foods (handy as we had babies with us), reserved cribs available in our rooms, coffee shop with pastries and bagels, nice lounging area and bar to hang out in. Though the breakfast isn't complimentary, charging it to your room was a discounted fee and, wow, what an excellent breakfast! Plus you have mini fridge in your room if you want to keep snacks/drinks in your room. We were very happy with our stay - and didn't even have time to use their lovely pool and fire pit area. Parking is difficult, restaurant is a joke and traffic access is horrible Price is Cherry Creek , but not worth it.. Stay somewhere else for your $$ September 24, 2014

I do wish there were microwaves available to heat up leftovers. The telephone in my room did not work properly, people couldn't get thru at times. And sometimes the front desk did not answer. If I had anything negative to say about this hotel, it would be that the pool is cold! Other than that, love it! September 17, 2014

Please see my account activity- When I book there is NO mention that the stay does not qualify for points or credit towards Elite status. This is becoming a major issue for me. The location should post in bold this hotel does not give points or credit for this stay- and i will not book in the future. September 7, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Labor Day Weekend at Cherry Creek Holiday Inn This property is nicely updated with a bar, outside courtyard area with fireplace, pool and fitness center (which I used and was happy with). The location was great. Staff was friendly, but it seemed that for this weekend the front desk staff (of one) was a bit overburdened, management should have staffed more than one person for a holiday weekend. I enjoyed having a refrigerator in our room and the room was spacious and comfortable. The cons would be using the elevators, there were two for two different towers, which was confusing because there was no notification regarding which tower you were in or which elevator to use on the outside of them. It was also somewhat frustrating that each time you use the elevator you have to use your room key, which I would have to try each time 2-4 times to get it to work. This idea is great for security, but maybe a better card reader would help... The other frustration was that the refrigerators were great, we brought home leftovers, but had NO WHERE TO HEAT THEM UP! There should be a microwave available to guests on each floor if not each room. The front desk clerk was nice enough to let me use the employee microwave (which I greatly appreciated), but this meant that I had to go from the 9th floor with my food, down to the lobby and back up again with my food in my hands and trying to operate the elevator... Also, there are only ice machines on three floors, so you get to deal with the elevator and yet again if you are not lucky enough to be on the floor with the ice maker. Parking is tricky here, small and tight spaces, so be careful if you have a truck/larger car/SUV or are not used to parking this way. The entrance and exits are very tight - scary! But, at least parking is free! Overall, We had a good experience at this hotel and I would recommend it and stay here again. Hopefully, with a microwave in the room... :) September 3, 2014

I was particularly pleased with the level of Interpersonal skill showcased by the Manager on duty when I checked into the hotel and thereafter, the good hospitality and great service rendered to me by two distinct staff at the reception. I cannot remember the names of these two staff but all I can remember was that they were on duty in the morning hours on July 27, 2014. I plan to return with my family for future stays, as well. Were really involved in our symposium, so we had little time to enjoy the amenities. Parking was good and there was no extra charge. Hospitality room was great and the service was good. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Employee Training Needed I arrived to the hotel on Sunday approximately 4:30p. I checked in and the front desk clerk stated she was going to put me in the newer bldg because it was quite. As I walked onto the elevator and down the hall I had the thought that I was in the bldg by myself and especially on the floor with no other guests. I called down and shared my concerns and she laughed. I asked her if she was checking in would she want to be on this floor in this bldg and she said come down and we will switch your room. The new room location was directly next to the ice machine. Same experience from a different person when I checked out. The entire stay including each morning at breakfast was the same experience. I have not stayed in the Holiday Inn orgaztions since 2011 because of previous experiences. Not pleased... Breakfast was the same ole chocolate chip pancakes and French toast. Fruit was not sweet. The lady with the blonde strawberry shoulder length hair would give me my check the moment I sat down. Uncomfortable and acceptable service. August 18, 2014
