Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good location Location is close to many things to do. Parking is really poor. The parking is all underground and meant for compact cars only so be careful parking. The hotel is right above a car wash which goes till late at night and starts early morning so if you are hoping to be able to get rest, this is not the hotel for it. The car wash is very loud. I didn't know we had a corporate rate there and the person checking me in happened to hear me say where I worked. He thought to check and see if we had a special rate, which we did. Thanks to him I saved my company money! Had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant; great food and service. Nice bar too; always something going on. Great place to unwind after a long day at work. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable and enjoyable stay The hotel met just about all of my standards and it was very comfortable. The only negative comment that I have is the parking garage, it was very difficult to park a midsize car in the narrow spaces. Because parking is in the basement there are concrete columns which further complicated parking. I did feel very safe in the parking garage. The hotel had great security measures in place and the location of the hotel was very convenient. I would stay here again. June 1, 2014

Two small gripes: slow internet speed, and constant issues with the room keys, especially in the elevator. Almost every time, for everybody I saw, it took three or four tries to get the elevator to accept a room key. It got very old. Overall a good property, in a good location. May 25, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Maid service needs training The maid service was some of the worst I've experienced. I had to go to the front desk for sugar packets. I had to go to the front desk for coffee cups. I had to go to the front desk for towels. It's not hard - if you take two coffee cups, leave two new ones. If that isn't possible, don't take the old cups. If you take two towels, leave two fresh ones. Otherwise, don't take the used towels. The lounge service was just the opposite of the room service. Jasmine did an excellent job. She was in multiple places at once. Her work ethic is impressive. The prices are reasonable as well. My room was musty and I asked about changing rooms. The front desk told me they would work on it, but never followed up. When I followed up, the hotel was sold out. April 27, 2014

We relaxed on Saturday and then went to the Pepsi Center for a fantastic concert!!! Would recommend this as a good place to stay -- if you need to be close to town. It is really far from the airport - but still a good place to stay. Food was good and the bar was, too. April 9, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel Hotel is very nice, has a lounge and restaurant. Bit pricey considering there are stores that sell beer within walking distance, but for convenience not a big deal (domestics are over 4 a piece). Room was very nice and clean. Bathroom had some issues, toilet was VERY loose, maintenance came and "shimmied" it so it wouldn't rock around and start leaking. The towel rod was barely hanging on the wall and fell apart a couple times while I was there, and the cover on the shower head that conceals the hole in the wall fell down and wouldn't stay up, while not a big deal it allowed some rather frigid air to vent into the shower which was slightly unpleasant. All in all it was a great place, can't really knock them but housekeeping should be noticing these things and reporting it so it gives a bit of concern to other things could be over looked but nothing else was obvious. We felt the staff was rude, the rooms are too small, we asked for more towels, didn't get them, we had 4 people and only had two wash towels. The parking garage always had leaking pipes. We would never come back. The cleanliness was not good. In the lobby where the bell carts are is filthy. March 7, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another great stay! Everytime I'm in Denver I stay here --- and I couldn't be more happy. The staff is wonderful, rooms are clean, and hotel is modern. Great place to unwind after a busy day downtown, close to University of Denver, and a Super Target! Would recommend this HI to anyone! Robert in the lounge is great, very attentive and makes you feel at home, food from Front Range Grill is quality, and only supports the great atmosphere. Easy access from Colorado Blvd and close to most places you'd want to go to. Be careful when you start a shower as the curtain sometimes isn't enough to keep the water in the tub, but that is hardly HI's fault! :) February 11, 2014

The room was great. Breakfast in the morning was really good too. The location was excellent especially for the price. Short drive to downtown, Capitol Hill, and the Pepsi Center. And right around the corner from great shopping. Easy on/off from highway. Loved it! February 5, 2014

The 2-queen-bed room felt somewhat crammed since we were three adults sharing it. We could have used a little more space. Driving inside a pillar-filled garage was a challenge. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bronco weekend Stayed over night to attend the Bronco football game. Check in was very smooth and we were able to check in fairly early. We had a nice room on the third floor. It was decorated very nice and clean. Hotel did provide a late check out due to our being an IHG reward member. There is a very nice park a block from the hotel where you can run by the creek with running water. This was a plus to start the morning. January 23, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by They did not make up the room We have stayed at this location many, many times over the past 14 years. Due to it's location and reasonable price, we have generally been pretty happy. We arrived on Saturday. With the weather being bad, we went down to the front desk on Sunday and requested another night. We then went about our day getting our daughter moved into her new apartment. We returned to the room at around 3:00 pm and it was obvious there had been no maid service, at all. We were close to out of toilet paper and our beds had not been made. When I inquired at the front desk, the person in charge said "We only change out the linens every three days, or when the room is vacated". I stated I had no problem with them not changing the linens but asked again why basic maid service had not been done. He gave me a sort of puzzled look and then stated it was too late in the day to have the room made up as housekeeping was no longer available. Instead of offering a discount on the room he offered to buy our breakfast. When I stated we already had arrangements made for breakfast...he said there was nothing more he could do. Please note that while I stated I would recommend the property...I would definitely warn others of our experience... January 11, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel for the Most Part Hotel was clean and had very friendly service. Location minutes away from Cherry Creek North shopping and restaurants, however directly across the street from a shady strip club and although there is a Target and couple restaurants across the street too I'm not sure I would have felt safe walking anywhere. Most parking is below the hotel. Doesn't give you the safest feeling since there was no hotel card entry to get down there and anyone could walk/drive down there. Also spots are small but there always seemed to be a spot to park. Rooms are clean, except the bathtubs. The tub in my room was grimy. There were also multiple towels with spots on them. Sure they were clean but stained. Staff is extremely friendly. Restaurant has some great options. Breakfast buffet has a fresh omelet bar and other tasty items. They also have a coffee shop that brews Starbucks beverages. Rooms do not have the option to run a fan continuously. It is somewhat noisy and depending on what temperature you have it set on it kicks on and off continuously while you're sleeping. It also got very chilly one night and it seemed they set the temperature for all rooms the same throughout the hotel since the thermostat was on a locked position as I had it set to 74 degrees but it never went higher than 68. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing Stay! This was a very special trip for me. I needed everything to be perfect. It was! The Holiday Inn Cherry Creek helped me pull off a memorable weekend. Skye at the front desk is INCREDIBLE. She helped me with my reservation and making sure I got just the right room. I am sure I drove her nuts with my calls and questions prior to our stay. While we were there she assisted us with every need we had. Even had great playful banter for us when I wined about walking in the cold. Alex, who checked me in made it as painless as possible. Jon D (Mr. D), the GM at this property is the kindest person ever. He is very gracious and welcoming as if this property were his own home. Robert the bartender, was a blast. Very friendly and funny. He can talk to anyone about anything. We looked forward to ending our evenings enjoying a few drinks at the bar visiting with Robert. I would say the only problem I had was with Mike M. I am not sure of his exact position only that he manages either the front desk or food and beverage or both. This man should not be heading up any type of guest service departments. He has no concept of guest services. Thank gosh the staff below him and above him have enough knowledge to more then make up for his incompetency's. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good rooms I enjoyed this hotel. Has a decent lounge area. 2 drawbacks. The parking is absolutely horrible. It's underground parking garage which probably would be ok except that the spaces have poles in them and they are spaced for very small vehicles. Took forever to find a spot. And their was no place else to park very confusing. The second was the dining room. No one available when I went in. Some others who were there said they seated themselves. They had to bang on the door to get her to come out. And told her to come over and take my order. She rudely stated she was in the bathroom when I asked for a wine she said we don't have it I said water then. And she fills my glass and spills it all over the table and left it. He acted very rude the whole time. Refused to go back for the next days meal. Did not get an upgrade for being a platinum member. Was checked in early. Thank you for that. December 16, 2013
