Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Some confusion about airport shuttle times, but the staff made it right for us. My wife and I stayed at the this hotel on the last night of our journey from Salt Lake City to Denver. We needed a hotel that was close enough to the airport to have an airport shuttle, but not so close that there are planes flying over the hotel. Our flight was at 1PM, and we decided to relax and not go out after over 1000 miles of driving, so I took the dropped the rental car off the night before. I asked an employee at the front desk what time the airport shuttle ran and they informed me that it left every half hour at 5 and 35 past the hour. So I gassed up the rental, dropped it off at the airport, and took the hotel shuttle back later the night before our flight was going to leave. Check out time was at noon, so my wife and I made plans to check out and catch the 11:35 AM shuttle. We came downstairs around 11:15 and discovered that the shuttle runs only at 5 past the hour from 10AM to 3PM. This was going to make us very strapped for time for our flight, and my wife was getting really stressed out because her married name is on the flight reservation and her maiden name is on her ID and she had a hard time getting through security on her way to Salt Lake City. After voicing our concerns to several employees, we met with a manager who helped us by paying for a taxi to take us to the airport. Without this, it would have been very stressful for us to make it to the gate on time. I realize that the hotel didn't have to do anything, but they went the extra mile to make things right for us, and we appreciate this. I often stay at airport hotels, which have very predictable airport shuttle times, i.e. every half hour. But, in retrospect, with this hotel being 15-20 minutes from the airpot, I should have confirmed that there would be a shuttle running at 11:35 AM when I asked the night before. The employee who told me the times had probably assumed that I was more interested in the evening shuttle times and not so much times for the next morning. I hope that nobody was reprimanded for this. Overall, I would recommend the hotel. The staff were friendly, the hotel is convenient for travelers to the Denver airport, and the TV was nicer than at other Holiday Inns. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Downhill This makes the 4th time I have visited this facility. I will not do so again. The rooms were dirtly and one day, were not cleaned until I said something. There was an old pill on the floor behind the door in the bathroom and hair. Toilet paper ran out, shampoo ran out. Nothing for Priority Club members. It has gone downhil. Doubt this will help. Wrote and called regarding another Holiday Inn in Lousiville, and never heard a word. November 30, 2012

They made our trip, which was stressful, a most pleasant experience. We slept well on the luxurious bed with the great soft pillows. Thank you Holiday Inn! We look forward to our next trip to Denver! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sleep Number = No Sleep Had a room facing the street, very busy and loud. Some jerk next door kept opening his sliding glass door to his patio, and I counted 3x per hour. Must have been a chain-smoker. My room vibrated every time he opened his patio door. Sleep number bed uncomfortable and wouldn't allow me to sleep well. I would prefer a regular bed next time. There was a party in conference room on bottom level, but noise filtered out into interior of hotel, which echo-ed thru my door on 11th floor. This is an okay property, but could be better by being quieter and more comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. November 23, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dated Hotel Rooms The hotel is located around a couple of fast food spots and has an expensive restaurant on site. The rooms are a little dated but clean. The bathrooms are super little and I'm a small person so that's saying something. They had a sleep number bed in the room I stayed in and it took about an hour or so to find something comfortable. Its a good hotel for the business traveler who needs a quick stay or if the Holiday Inn Express is booked. Not bad, but I've had better :) . November 20, 2012

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by View Staff was not very friendly! Parking was horrible! Had to park at nearby hotel? I mentioned it to hotel staff and was told that the daily conferences bring in a lot of money to the hotel? I said the guests should have priority parking? She said she would mention it to the GM very rudely. There was also a lot of guests smoking pot in the hotel. You could smell it in the hallways,elevators and balconies. I loved the look of the lobby and vibe of it, however you could tell in the rooms its an old hotel. The bed was broken so I was stuck with the bed on the certain level of comfort. I would have just preferred a normal bed that was comfortable instead of an adjustable bed. I loved having the bar in the hotel since there was nothing around, however it closed really early for a Saturday night. I would recommend this property for someone on a budget. November 2, 2012

We stayed on a Saturday night, Restaurant was only open for breakfast Sunday. Sign said food could be ordered in the bar, bar closed early for a Saturday evening. If you need a clean place to sleep and nothing else this would be the place. October 29, 2012

When asked I was told to pay a dollar for a bottle of water. No extra benefit for club members at this hotel. No extended hours for the pool or sauna/hot tub. Downtown Denver only minutes away. Comfortable room. The only negative is that my room faced a neighborhood. Even on the 8th floor, I could hear the ruckus of noise/partying/car alarms from my room. We stayed in a room with single Queen bed; the room was nice but small. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very mediocre I can:t say there was anything particularly bad or good about this holel. It is an average Holiday Inn. I was just using it as a stop the night before a flight and therefore cannot comment on location other than it is reasonably convenient for the airport. My only gripe is that I was not welcomed as a Platinum Priority Club member on check in, which is standard at any IHG protery these days. The buffet breakfast was very mediocre. I have not recommended this property as there are many others in this location which are better. October 19, 2012

Greeting from the staff are always cheerful and friendly, Rooms always clean and comfortable. Shuttle service is always on time and drivers pleasant. He already had my room key and priority club information ready to go. After traveling a majority of the evening and being a platinum member, this is exactly the type of service I like to have. Hes a straight shooter with upper management potential. When I got to my room, everything was more than satisfactory, the sleep number bed was a nice touch too since the holiday inn expresses I normally stay at don't have them. Several times the trash was not emptied and on one ocassion my door was left open while I was away at work. Other than the cleaning issue everything else was great during my stay. October 11, 2012

Clean, quiet, and although the rooms are a little small by today's standards I really liked the fact my room had a walk out balcony with a nice view of downtown and the mountains. It's refreshing to have a window, or in this case a door, that opens to let fresh air in. Front desk, Bar and restaurant personnel very nice and friendly. October 9, 2012
