Whilst the hotel staff were friendly and service in the restaurant efficient my overriding image of this hotel is the noisy guests. Often this hotel plays guest to coachload's of Chinese tourists and this time there were 2 or 3 of them. That in itself is not a problem but unfortunately outside my room we had people , primarily children constantly going from room to room and banging doors a lot of the night. Sometime after midnight I did ask them to stop the noise , which they eventually did but was still a noisy venue. Also the maid had opened the window earlier and not shut it properly. As you cannot open and close windows yourself ( you need a key) I also had the noise of the roads all night. So as you can expect the sleep quality was not good. My suggestion is to ask for a room away from any groups and don't expect to be able to get a lift if you happen to want to leave at the same time , I had to use the stairs ! Restaurant was good service by choice somewhat limited and if anything very hurried !

One day stay at Holiday Inn Dijon Toison D'Or. Hotel is conveniently located for travelers to the south of Europe with a nice shopping mall next door. Pool, fitness and play area are nice. Hotel is fairly expensive and breakfast is limited and, certainly given the choice of food, perceived very expensive.
