Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Holiday Inn experience EVER Checked in late and just wanted to get some sleep.Tried to watch some news on TV and was unable to set any kind of sleep timer. Woke up and had to turn off TV. Back to sleep on small pillows and awakened at 5AM by blaring clock radio which we never set. Woke up and discovered a gross bathroom with hair on the floor. At this point what's the use in complaining to front desk and start off our day on a bad note? December 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortble bed and Quiet Stay Great place to stay, very close to all types of restaurants, and stores. Of course, the casino is minutes away. My husband and I both saw the beach signs and therefore, we will be back at sometime to visit the beaches. Delaware is also a state that charges no taxes and we took advantage of that and shopped at the local TJ MAXX, Walmart, Best Buy and ate out as often as we wished. There is a stretch of Hotels throughout this area to include two Holidays Inn within a few minutes of traveling. We are presently planning to stay this coming Summer, if planned in advanced. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Best Service In Dover The layout of the rooms comes as a surprise with its right angular layout. Entry from the parking lot is awkward. The staff are accommodating and responsive to the needs of their guests. The lounge is great except they close early, but their is an opportunity to promote the lounge area to greater serve the Dover area. They meet or exceed national standards in comparison to other hotels falling within compatible standards. In comparison to other states, they would have to rank number 1 in service, and quality. I have more than 1000 nights of hotel stays, this hotel ranks in the top 10. The only exception is they close the lounge and bar early. November 26, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not quite up to par 2/3 pieces of equipment in the "Fitness Center" were broken. Another guest was smoking marijuana in their room and the whole floor smelled. Later, a staff member was joking and laughing about the situation. A little over-priced for not serving a continental breakfast. The restaurant food was OK and the bartender was friendly but not very attentive. The rooms were clean and well stocked but do not have a mini-fridge. November 9, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dismal in Dover This hotel is on the main highway through town adjacent to a mostly abandoned shopping center. It appears that Holiday Inn may have taken it over from a different chain as there is only one small sign out front and the overall outside appearance is very generic looking. The restaurant and bar were closed, thus I would not consider it a full-service establishment. It was adequate but simply not up to the standard I would expect at a Holiday Inn. November 6, 2014
