Service was oke, but on the departure day, we had paid for a breakfast pakage, they promised to give it early in the morning, but it was not there when we were leaving.

Great Hotel in a very accessible area of Dubai. Nice neighborhood conveniences. Great staff and excellent overall experience. Will definitely recommend to travelers to Dubai.

My wife and I stayed here on my Reward points. I had to insist that Breakfast WAS included as per my Platinum membership status and the advertisement of the hotel. We were very happy with the position of this location as it was most convenient for good eating establishments and the commuting by Train to most destinations of interest. We were allocated room 720, the room was quite comfortable and clean and the only thing we were a little disappointed with was the loud music late into the night. This wasn't too much of a problem as we didn't feel tired till around midnight. Be aware that this Hotel is situated In a back street and therefore there 'isn't a room with a view'. You can sunbathe comfortably on the roof around the pool. I believe this area is in need of updating a little, but as we didn't pay for our stay we weren't disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED is speaking to Anthony Joy the concierge on duty, he is very knowledgeable and so helpful and tries his very best to help you enjoy your stay and gives very good advice on surrounding restaurants. The internet was activated by a code obtained from reception, free to platinum members, however it took me four attempts and codes to access. Recommend buying a SILVER NOL CARD at the railway/tube station and you will enjoy Dubai as much as we did. Beware that there are 'LADIES DAYS' at the beach when men will be refused access to the beach, ask at Hotel for guidance, again ask JOY. We did see Holidayinn nearer the Emirates Mall, but we thought the location of this downtown site was much more convenient. The housekeeping staff were very attentive and provided ample supplies of tea/coffee/milk/water etc.

Hotel OK. Beware that map on Holiday Inn / IHG website is incorrect, showing this hotel to be 1 mile nearer to Downtown Deira than it actually is. Official map shows hotel near to Baniyas Metro Station, whereas hotel is in fact near Al Rigga Metro station. Good benefit of this hotel is its location close to the (excellent and cheap) Metro network.
