Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and response to guests From welcoming me in to the hotel and all through the duration on the stay, the hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming to the point where they impressed me when I called to complain about not having hot water and in minutes an engineer came to solve the problem and they did. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Hotel Staff in Dubai This hotel had some of the best staff I have encountered in all my travels. We arrived early and they thried their best to accomodate us with an early check-in. Staff acknowledged my platinum status, and went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with the service. Upon arrival, we were asked to wait, since our room was not ready for early check-in, but soon after sitting down, Raj (customer service staff) offered us coffee, tea, and water. It seems that this hotel recognizes what it means to be a platinum member and their treatment made me feel welcomed, valued, and special. I will make this my preferred hotel when I visit Dubai. it is a block away from the Al Rigga metro station, and extremely close to the airport as well - making it a convenient place to stay when needing a place that is conveniently located to the airport and the gold souk. Hotel was undergoing renovations when I visited, but the warmth of the staff made up for the temporary appearance of the lobby. April 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff and Great Location Clean, spacious room in the heart of the Deira section of Dubai. Walking distance from many shops, restaurants and the metro station. Staff was very attentive and sincere. Rooms are not the quietest and many other guests are booked there to party. There are three nightclubs on the premises so rooms nearby those may be prone to music, foot traffic. etc. Good value for the price. I'd stay there again for a visit but might opt to the Airport Holiday Inn Express location if returning for business purposes. April 9, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy and smelly. The hotel was noisy and Smelly. I asked for adapter and had to call 3 times and took an hour to receive the adapter. The breakfast was not worth the price.... City location was only good thing... April 7, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good room and poor hotel facility I wouldn't recommend it , it was a mixed of good and poor The disco sounds and noises gave us a bad first impression when we arrived. Not good for families because of that. Th staff were receptive and welcoming but no recognition for platinum status as other IHG hotels. The room was old in furniture. The only good about it isthe bed, however the bath room was in poor shape, loos old tiles were dirty over the time, and the shower facilities are not in good shape April 6, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 My Stay at Holiday Inn Downtown Dubai Very Good but very crowded lobby, however the staff were very hospitable and friendly. When I was there, the hotel had a fire drill and Dubai Fire department were there in less than 5 mins. It was very comforting to see that they were thinking about safety. I enjoyed my stay. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by a short and sweet stay Great staff who really know how to make you feel special. Nice clean room with exception of the bathroom curtains which were need of replacement. Its location is so handy just 2 mins from the Riga metro station and 1 stop away from City Mall. March 27, 2015
