Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worth Staying The property is a large one , with good rooms and location at Burjuman Station , Very Convinient location. Staff is good but the last time I checked in the co ordination between the sales and the front office was not there. The payments were made by my office earlier and this was not updated at the counter when I checked in late at night. Of cource the advantage was the IHG membership which ensured the room blockages. They greet you by name and make you feel like part of their hotel family. No need to mention anyone by name, they are all great management has done a great job training the staff to ensure you will enjoy your stay. Believe me it shows and the customer service will keep you coming back, as it has me. Oh, the internet is very fast also. I assure you, you will enjoy your stay and please take advantage of the room service. It is very fast and convenient. March 9, 2014

After that, I complained about this, then they apolozied me very politely, and they served the best service to me when I stayed there. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kids loved it I have stayed at Holiday Inn Bur Dubai for business previously and it was great - really convenient location for Metro. This time we had a few days holiday with the kids and they thought it was fantastic. They loved the pool and liked the freedom of the buffet food which they ate lots of. All of the staff were so friendly to them, and we had no qualms letting them sort themselves out. Just around the corner are the souks, the creek and the cultural quarter so plenty to keep everyone interested. All of the staff are so helpful, definately worth staying there. February 26, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Asst. Front Office Manager can make a difference This is the first time I stay in this hotel. I wanted to try it for one night and see how does it stand. Connecting to hotel WiFi was a problem as it asks you too many details on the payment plan ...etc, Even though, it was free. Another problem when I asked for the bell man during checking out as it took him about 20 minutes. To be frank, I was not happy and complained both times to the front desk. Lucky I was that I talked to the same Asst. Front Office Manager both times, One in the evening and second in the morning as if he sleeps there. He was so nice and keen to find quick solution to any problem. I was impressed on how pleasant and sincere he was. He added 10.000 points just to make sure that I will return again to the hotel. For this person only, I will return again and try the hotel once more. Who said one person can not make a difference!!! February 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic service and great value I stayed here on a business and holiday trip with my family, our request for connecting rooms was met even though the hotel was clearly quite full. All the staff were excellent and gave some of the best service I have ever experienced (I stay in a lot of hotels). Allan at breakfast was especially brilliant and I will be staying there again in place of the Crowne Plaza where I have stayed previously. In the UK holiday inns are often functional,for somewhere to sleep, it's clear in this hotel that they really do value their guests and strive to make their stays very enjoyable. February 14, 2014

I have travelled across the world and have never seen a hotel room like this...The smoke enters into the room at night and gets filled. I requested for a non smoking room and was told that its a non smoking one. I could hear loud music till 2am and the had to deal with the smell and smoke till 5 am. Informed the front desk with no use. I don't recommend this hotel. February 8, 2014

Great location for metro - 150 metres. Staff very good , food & room service good Complained about sky Channel goving fuzzy feedback to room Staff said they would get it checked out and come back to me Never happened but not a real issue. Asked for alarm call morning leaving - never happened but no big deal. Overall great experience and will be back at this hotel. February 4, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great experience for the whole family Again we really enjoyed our New Year's vacation stay here and felt already a little bit like home. - Known facility, known faces. If it would be possible this hotel would get from us 7 of 5 points ;-) It's simply not comparable to other good Holiday Inns we already visited. A nice building with nice interior at a "strategic good" place for Dubai tourists: * no 5 min to the subway * no 5 min to shopping mall (currently partly under construction) * across main street an Indian offers fresh juices and shakes - don't miss that! * usually no problem to catch a taxi * just some steps to the Creek But the largest treasure of that hotel is its staff. All of them true kindly, helpful and always open minded for guest's needs and wishes. They make you feel they wait for a chance to support you and do this always with a true kind smile. In stressy situations (e.g. rush hour at breakfast) all of them co-operate independing of any rank to ensure well-being of the guests. Management and staff gave their very best to make also this time our stay an unforgetable one. - Many thanks! We are sure to stay here again also our next time in DXB. January 13, 2014

It's always a pleasure for me and my family to come back to this home far away from home and to meet again the staff members, most of them we know already for some years. All of them (from all departments as well as of all ranks) seem to like their job from the bottom of the heart. - So the guest gets the feeling to be really welcome here and to be an estimated individual and not just one room number among others. At our arrival everything was well prepared and our room preferences were perfectly met - special thanks to Mr.Omar! All the small and larger requests during our stay were solved very fast and the solutions they found were mostly more helpful and comfortable than expected. This way to treat the guests is the way to get really satisfied guests who will always like to come back with pleasure. - As we do. A good example for many other hotels ... Many thanks to the whole HI Bur Dubai team for making our stay a memorable New Year holidays vacation ! January 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great experience staying at Holiday Inn Bur Dubai We stayed with parents and a toddler in two rooms for five nights from 30th Dec '13 to 4th Jan '14. We had a great experience, especially the extra attention provided by the staff, despite the hotel being fully booked at that time. The staff was kind to accommodate our request for two adjacent rooms in a quite area (noisy rooms can a much bigger nuisance with a small toddler!!). In addition, they threw in complementary benefits - free breakfast and a high tea occassionaly - for our stay, since they could not provide us a room upgrade (both me and my wife are Platinum members)... breakfast spread was decent, we esp like that it has 3-4 Indian vegetarian items and masala tea - as parents could eat limited other items.. hotel cleaniness, staff courtesies were generally par for a 4-5 * hotel.. Check-in was slightly slow as 1 room was still being readied but we were well attended to with a welcome juice while waiting. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and in particular Mr. Yamen provided excellent and friendly service for breakfast during our stay. There were also small gestures such as a Christmas cake as we stayed over Christmas. Overall a good and memorable stay. January 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 COME AS YOU ARE Stayed at this hotel with my family for 4 nights and had a great time. The staff were attentive and the rooms alloted to us were spacious. Good number of TV channels kept the children and us occupied while we were resting. On Monday, the GM invited all the Platinum members to a private cocktail part on the rooftop pool. We met with the management at the party who asked what further improvements can be made from me and also from my Children. Great people. December 27, 2013
