Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Finish construction! Hotel price should be discounted because of construction! Someone should learn how to keep your pool clean, it was very dirty! I also shouldn't have to go down a floor to get some ice!! It's a shame because the staff was very nice and the beds were very comfortable! More care could've been taken to clean the bathroom better, I don't require much but these things should done automatically at a hotel, to make a guests stay comfortable! August 24, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by New meaning for late check-in We were in Dubuque for a wedding. The wedding started at 3:00 which was the same as check-in time. We asked if we could check-in early and could not, no big deal. After the wedding was over we attempted to check-in again at 4:30 and again the rooms had not been cleaned. This was HIGHLY inconvenient as not many people want to freshen up in the hotel's public restroom. Not wanting to miss our family member's reception we had no choice but to check-in afterward at 1:00 am. Then we find out when we got home different family members were compensated differently from only receiving a few drink tickets to having the room totally comped. I was on the drink ticket end. I don't feel every person in our block of rooms should have to line up at the front desk taking turns complaining to get the same treatment. Overall, outside of not being able to check-in on time, this is just an average hotel. We did not eat at the restaurant or bar during our stay. August 20, 2015
