Service was excellent, room was clean and comfortable. We had an early flight at 5:50 am and the shuttle took us to the airport at four in the morning. We left our car there for a week and were not charged. The shuttle picked us up six days later around midnight. Hotel is very accessible to Dulles airport. We had one complimentary breakfast which was delicious. I had thought i lost my earrings there and they were willing to mail them to me no charge. I later found them. They definitely go out of there way for everyone. We will definitely stay here again!

Appreciate the free airport shuttle and close proximity to the airport. Also appreciate that most rooms are located away from the highway for a quiet nights rest before early travel. A decent sports bar and restaurant are on the property for easy access and convenience.
I like the complimentary toiletries should you forget an item, as my better half forgot a toothbrush.
Free parking in the dc area is also a plus, though it should be in Reston.
All in all a descent holiday inn.

My wife and myself were extremely pleased with our stay at the Holiday Inn at Dulles. We've stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels in Europe and the USA and this hotel ranks right up there. Very,very clean hotel and the staff was one of the best I've come across in my years of traveling. Thank you !!

I stay here frequently, especially when I need to do laundry. Clothes in the washer, go to bar, clothes in dryer, go to bar. Bartenders are friendly. Rooms are fine and reception is always pleasant. Real close to airport, no problems with internet. Will be back soon.

We stayed here both on the night before our flight and the night of return.
The hotel provided excellent shuttle service to and from Dulles AP - quick and comfortable!
Desk and restaurant staff were outstanding.
We plan on staying there in 2 week on our next trip from Dulles - again both before and after our trip.

This place is local to a lot of the area and easily accessed to several main roads to get throughout the northern Virginia area without being in a slammed city area.

The rooms are stylish, spacious and quiet! The restaurant / pub has a decent variety of beer and food. I accidentally forgot a piece of hardware in my room and lost and found was able to ship it out quick. This will be my designated hotel when I travel here on business.

Stayed here overnight for a business appointment the next day. Hotel staff are very friendly, warm and extremely helpful. Room was immaculate; exceptionally comforting; quiet; and relaxing. The Irish Pub on the first floor also adds to the allure of the hotel's atmosphere. I would most definitely stay here again!!

The pillows and the mattress were really uncomfortable and the AC makes more noise than an old train. It was impossible for me or my wife to rest at night. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

I've always gotten a great service at this location, unfortunately this time I had a not so pleasant situation. That night I called to order a pot of coffee, the person in Spanish told me what I knew" there's coffee in the room ! I answered that I knew but I wanted a pot of coffee, to which he told me oh, really is that I will have to make it now cause ww don't have and ... That's when I asked again Are you going to bring me a pot of coffee or not!
Do tell other languages speaking people not to cross
The line getting confuse that we are all the same
I expected a better service than the one received.

Nice hotel, exactly what we've come to expect from Holiday Inns across the country. Well maintained and the beds are very comfortable. However, I did not realize this was NOT a Holiday Inn Express when I booked our room and had expected a continental breakfast which is standard as far as I know with Holiday Inn Expresses. The next morning we discovered the error when we went to breakfast and had to pay $12.95 for the buffet and extra for coffee or tea. I'd booked on a govt. rate and we did get 3 breakfast coupons, but...there were two of us so one had to pay for the breakfast each morning. Figure that one out.
I'd also booked this hotel because it had a separate restaurant, O'Malley's, where you could go have dinner and a glass of wine in the evening. Unfortunately, the wine was $8 a glass, the service was terrible and the food not that great either. Had there been any place closer to go for a nightcap, we'd have been there after the first night. I'd recommend the hotel, but I wouldn't pay that much for the same menu every morning and I certainly would NOT recommend O'Malley's.

We stayed here a few years ago and it was really nice, especially since they had upgraded us for free. This stay was far different. First of all, I was disappointed to find that we had no fridge. I assumed that the king executive suite would have this, buy i guess I am just too accustom to having a mini-fridge in hotel rooms. This really isn't a big deal, but my wife had leftovers from dinner that we wanted to save. Second, the floor felt sticky. I had to wash my feet before bed to get the grossness off. Third, there was a dripping sound that started about an hour after we went to bed. When I finally got up to investigate, I found that the air conditioner was dripping water onto the floor. When I put a cut on the floor to catch the dripping, I found that my feet were sticky again. This was where the sticky floor was originating and obviously a recurring problem to cause the floor to be that way. Other than these things, the room was very average. I didn't use the pool or eat the breakfast so I will not speak to them.

my overall experience was good maid service could of been better. we found candy wrappers under the furniture when we got in. the maids did not leave enough surplies for the amount of people in the room I had to find a maids cart in the hall to refill the toilet paper in our room . and they never vacuumed the room .
also there was a traveling sports team at the hotel which the children and adults were very rude to other guest and disrespectful of the facilities. not listening to the life guard on duty and getting into his face about the rules put in place for everyones safty.

It does the job, nothing extraordinary.
Staff are helpful and do their job well.
My disappointment with this hotel, which clearly targets low budget travellers, is the lack of self-service laundry facilities. Also the complimentary shuttle which is advertized does not really exists since "we have only one driver".

I stay at this hotel regularly. The staff is always helpful and takes care of any issues quickly. The rooms are just a bit dated, but clean and all the "stuff" works like AC, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. I have lots of options -- but I stay her by choice -- due to the overall value...

This facility Has just about everything you would need. It has a very large pool for a hotel and a whirlpool along with a large workout facility. The bar/restaurant is more like a sports bar more than an Irish pub but it has a good atmosphere and good bar food.
I have three main beefs with the hotel. One is there is no Wi-Fi available in the pool area. It would be nice to use iPad while sitting around relaxing. Two, there are no electrical outlets convenient to the bed area so you can recharge your phone or your iPad. It would be nice to have something like the charging station I see At other hotel chains. And three, I have stayed at a number of Holiday Inn locations including this one and I always request extra pillows in my online reservation and never get them.
Other than those pet peeves, I like the Dulles facility very much. I would recommend it for travelers and tourist.

I make it a point to stay here when I can. To me this is a destination that I enjoy as much as where I am going. The rooms are well appointed and the staff is amazingly kind and courteous. The restaurant O'Malley's has a wide variety of menu items from which to choose. All of them are well prepared from the NY strip down to the appetizers. You have got to try the Shepard's Pie, a delectable dish you can't find elsewhere. I hope my fellow travelers will enjoy this property as much as I have.

Although the location was far from DC proper the facility more than made up for the location. The room was clean, comfortably furnished and very quiet even with 300 students in attendance. Our buffet breakfast each morning was delicious and the staff very friendly. We ate supper once at the second restaurant and found it very good as well. The front desk staff were very helpful and the on-site gift shop very well stocked. The students were fed well and the conference facilities more than adequate. Thanks.

As we all know travel can be stressful. The staff at the Holiday Inn go out of their way to make sure their guests have everything they need. All this is done with cheerfulness and respect. I was greeted with smiles and all my questions were answered. A great big thank you to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is also very good.

On a business trip - this hotel exceeded our expectations and the value was fantastic. The front desk was able to provide very early morning shuttle service. Definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

We have used this Holiday Inn several times when we fly out of Dulles. The rooms are clean and comfortable. With O'Malley's on site, we can have a relaxing dinner without the hassle of driving somewhere. And the airport shuttle is always on time. We will continue to use this Holiday Inn. The only thing I did not appreciate is the price hike during the week.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn Dulles Airport only one night, on my Trip to NY State. In case I started very early, I heven't tested the breakfast, but the staff was very friendly and the room was nice and comfortable.

We wish we had known that the shuttle only goes to the airport door not to Airline gates. We had a hard time finding Virgin America especially since we had our luggage with us. It took us an hour to get to our gate.
