Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Large full service property near airport Located in industrial commercial zone. Full service larger property. Staff very unattentive and not service minded. For example, empty no busy restaurant, expect to wait 15-30 minutes without any acknowledgement or assistance. Rooms comfortable but totally nonbusiness friendly. No extension cords. Night stands 2-3 feet from bed, can't reach lights, clock, phone, etc without getting out. Internet was fast. May 27, 2013

We just had the one night but enjoyed the bar and the breakfast although service at breakfast was wanting. The air conditioner in the room could not be controlled. May 20, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pub Dining on Property My husband and I ended our vacation of 2 weeks by returning to Dulles to fly out the next day. Holiday Inn Dulles graciously allowed a slightly early check-in . We then returned our rental car to the airport and got an immediate pickup and return to the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the hotel is equipped with a gym, laundry and gift shop. We appreciated the pub which is part of the property. We were tired and it was nice to get a good meal without having to go far. The staff was friendly and the ride to the airport was on time the next morning. I would say, be prepared. Unlike most of our stays with Holiday Inn, breakfasts here and in Baltimore were $5.00. Given the amount these two hotels charge it seems like a small thing to throw in a breakfast. May 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Not sure what to expect from an "airport hotel" We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express, but the Dulles Airport Holiday Inn was pet friendly and the right price, so we gave it a go. We were so pleased with our decision. It was located near the airport, but not under the flight line and plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was great and the hotel was updated nicely. We really enjoyed our stay here and would happily stay here again. April 27, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by bathroom cleanliness The room was nice though the bathroom I found 3hairs from the nether region in it and trust me I don't look for this though when there are 2 in the shower walls and 1 on the floor that was pretty disgusting I had to clean it so my 10 and 7 year were not exposed to this. I did advise the front desk and they told me they would talk to the head of house cleaning. I was shocked they did not offer me anything to make me happy. could be the last time I stay at a Holiday Inn. Funny thing is I booked Holiday Inn because of the usual cleanliness April 6, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Best not to be a Priority Club Member As a platinum member, I am usually greeted by name, have a key card inside a jacket with my current point total written on it, and at least given a bottle of water. Not so on any count here. I noticed a non-priority club patron check-in (yes, I asked them!) and they were greeted with a smile and treated as family. I gave my name and waited until a card was made, told he needed my credit card. I asked what kind of room did I have and was told, "Their all the same sizem it doesn't matter." When I informed him that I had stayed in the much larger Executive Board Suite just last week, he just looked at me and said, "I still need your credit card." If there was a closer IHG property to where I'm doing business, I would definately go there. In fact, there are non-IHG properties that are closer, and it might be worth sacrificing points to be treated as someone the establishment wants to return! March 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Dulles airport hotel for the traveler Older 2 story hotel that has had the rooms refurbished and are nicely updated and comfortable. Quiet end of a cul-de-sac. Hotel bar-restaurant is in the style of an Irish Pub, food and drink are fine and relatively reasonable priced. They do have a more formal restaurant on site as well. Front desk staff are excellent. Shuttle runs to Dulles International every 30 minutes starting at 4 AM. Indoor pool with a nice workout area. Good wireless internet. If you need a place to stay when you get in or are waiting on a flight for the next day - it's an excellent choice for the traveler. For the government traveler - the govt rate is below the max per diem rate. February 23, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of credit for overcharge confirmation # 62615839 I was charged for what was supposed to be a complimentary breakfast on19 Nov 2012. I called on Nov 23 and spoke to a Geraldine in accounting and she said she would issue a credit. I called again on 10 Dec and spoke to Geraldine again, but she claimed not to remember our 23 Nov conversation. She assured me she would immediately issue the credit. To date the credit wasnot issued. Both calls were made from Baku Azerbaijan where I am stationed. It is difficult to make these calls. The delay and requirement for follow up has turned what was otherwise a good experience into an ugly one. I am very dissapointed. December 16, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Experience Staff was great I was hosting a party. Catering departing was great to work with. My event started just a bit after our scheduled start. The food was fantastic! I would have another event there without hesitation. Our room was nice, our carpet was wet from the outside of the bathroom to the door. The staff offered to move us, but I was heading to my event and didn't have time to move. They put a fan in our room to help dry the carpet and it helped so the carpet wasn't soaked. We have another event to attend at this Hotel in January and will not hesitate to stay there again, we will just check the carpet first. December 15, 2012

As a single female traveler, I was somewhat uncomfortable with room location (long walk from elevator), however, I chose not to request a change since it was just a one-night stay. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dulles Holiday Inn From the first moment I arrived and departed four days later, everything at this hotel exceeded my expectations: reception and houskeeping were very friendly and responded to all my requests; the room was spacious, clean, and the bed very comfortable; the pool and fitness center were great; and, the restrauants were above agerage for a Holiday Inn / Crowne Plaza. The only suggestion that I would make is to have an assigned area for smokers. I will return. December 11, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bar They have smoking rooms which is good for me. You must go see Joni at the bar. After a long day on the road she made it worthwhile. She is happy, upbeat and a great bartender. I even went back this week on Monday but she was off. Next week I will be going back for two nights. The food in the bar is great and reasonably priced. The staff is helpful and curtious, the rooms are clean, and the restaurant on site is an excellent option at the end of a busy day. I recommend the hotel to everyone that travels to the area. I do not recommend eating at the hotel restaurant , the service there was horrible each time I went. Staff was short, slow and messed up orders. November 20, 2012
