Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience We stayed here for UMD's 2013 Spring Graduation Ceremony. My elderly parents were with us as well. Rebecca was very helpful through various emails and by phone when we made a special request to have a refrigerator in our room. She was able to reserve a room for us that met all of our needs and an extra perk for us was the AMAZING view of the Duluth Lift Bridge right from our window. Our parents had not been to Duluth for over 65 years so to be able to stand in our hotel room and watch out the window 3 different ships enter or leave via the lift bridge was 1 of the MANY highlights of their trip. They are already talking about a return visit. We highly recommend Holiday Inn Duluth Downtown. It's easy access via the sky walk to DECC was great! May 21, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant Stay In Duluth for the weekend and wanted to be close to downtown area. The room was great and beds comfortable, I did put the heating/cooling fan on low to cover some of the noise in hallway when we were trying to sleep. I used the fitness centre both mornings and would have like to use the pool as well but ran out of time. We had breakfast from the Greenery both mornings, love the fact they have Starbucks! Pleased to find out the shuttle would take us to nearby restaurants if not doing airport runs, so we could leave vehicle in covered parking. May 18, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by avoid rooms by pool Checked into an almost full hotel. Not told hotel under construction when I made the reservation. Given room by pool. Screaming children, no sound insulation.Constant loud noise until 10:30 pm. Hallways under construction -- no carpeting, bare cement. 10 minute wait for elevator. People walking down 8 flights because of no elevators. Not enough staff to check people in. May 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location! I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn. The location was great as it provided easy access to Canal Park via the skywalk system. The parking was great too - free! I would recommend this location to anyone. There were shops within the Holiday Inn Complex/Skywalk as well providing easy dining options - sit down or grab and go. I would have liked to see a lower rate, but for the ease of access and free parking I can't complain too much. May 17, 2013
