This property has always provided me with the best in travel accomodations. The staff from the front desk team to the food service folks are both professional and friendly. They find ways to solve any problem.
Rooms are clean and well maintained. Housekeepers do a very nice job.
And the quality has always been high, for over two years that we have been coming here on a regular basis.

The staff at this hotel is excellent, from check in to check out. I have stayed many times in the past year. My son is stationed at Quantico, and it is very convenient and comfortable

The staff, including front desk, food and beverage and cleaning staff were all very nice and helpful. We lost one of my wife's workout garments in a towel and they went through the whole laundry and found it! All in all they were very nice.

The rooms were very nice and the staff was great. However, not having a breakfast was a big negative and when I did order breakfast the egg and toast was cold and the egg underdone. I had to send it back and there was no apology about the first egg. Was fairly expensive too. Should consider at least a continental breakfast.

The staff was very welcoming. Our stay was very comfortable and we will stay at this property again. My husband loved the Marine display. He was in the platoon they displayed. Sorry we had not chosen this property on previous trips. Loved it!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel food was great, the room was clean. It had a microwave and small refrigerator for me to eat in my room. The staff was pleasant. My only complaint was my inability to access the wifi. I called down to the front desk and did not get much assistance other than was told to go to the link. But other than that, it was a nice place to stay and I will consider staying here again.

Checked in at 3pm was told to come back in 45 mins. Returned in 50 mins. Room still not available. Was told at that point that checking is at 4. Page two of the hotel guest guide in room states 3 pm check in time. Harassed regarding government rate despite having govt ID. Room was hurriedly prepared. Bed spread was dirty. Rug was stained and dirty. Overall experience not good. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall my stay at the Holiday Inn in Dumfries was good. My question is what is the differences between hotels with complimentary coffee. Different hotels do different things with this. Most that I have gone to have 24 hr service with a coffee display. Is this something that can get added there at that hotel. Also I have been to some that have a complimentary breakfast. If they dont then most of the time as a Member of the Armed Services received coupons for breakfast. Not that big of a deal but was just disappointed over not having the ability to get coffee anytime without having to purchase it. Thank you.

My mom is in a wheelchair, and they have a really nice large room with two beds (unusual to find two bed wheelchair accessible rooms). We have stayed at this hotel several times, and have always been impressed by the terrific staff. On this particular stay, my mom needed assistance as she had fallen, and the staff came to her rescue to get her up rather than calling the rescue squad. That was over and above any expectation.
My only complaint would be food service--we have stayed here periodically over the last few years, and every single time the restaurant/breakfast buffet have been awful (both waiter service and cooking). I'd recommend eating off-site instead, but I noticed a couple other complaints about food, so perhaps they will take it to heart and really make some improvements (not sure if restaurant is owned by hotel or leased to another company).
All in all, thumbs up for a really great hotel--nice pool, very clean, comfortable rooms, and again, terrific staff!

From check in to check out, my experience was seamless. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable. To top it off, the lobby was tastefully decorated for Christmas and was beautiful and relaxing. Definitely my go-to place for future visits to Dumfries. Thank you!

We used our priority club points to stay here and were rewarded with bottles of water and stale snacks. Room was nice, clean and very satisfactory. However after a day of driving we decided to eat in the Holiday Inn dining room. The barmaid had to go find the waiter, 15 minutes later he showed up. Dinner was ordered, the waiter did not write anything down (mistake on his part). My wife and son received their meals in an acceptable amount of time, although I ordered the same as my wife I did not get my meal until they were done. Should also say the meal was not worth the wait. We were there for two nights needless to say we did not eat their again.

Since we have family in the area, we visit each Thanksgiving. The hotel is like new & the staff are very professional. Easy access to the interstate and close to many tourist locations.

I stayed at your hotel several times when visting the area. But this is the first time I stayed since you did away with the breakfast buffet. I was highly disappointed in the breakfast. My eggs were not hot. In fact the cheese that was placed on the eggs never melted. The coffee was just warm. And there was just no atmosphere in the restaurant. One of the reason for booking at your hotel was due to hot breakfast buffet you use to offer. One plus I give Holiday Inn is on all of my visits, the staff is alway friendly.

First time in years that I have stayed in a Holiday Inn - I will not wait that long again because of my satisfaction with the Holiday Inn in Dumfries, VA. Stayed at the Inn for four days as part of a group (TBS 4-67 Reunion). Rates were reasonable, rooms were clean and comfortable and the service was outstanding.
