Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Unplugging is a whole new meaning! During my recent stay, I was very impressed with the overall hotel, its staff, and the location. I am on the road between 80 and 100 nights a year and I would recommend this location to anyone. The only drawback I found is that there was no electrical plug inside the bathroom. It was outside the bathroom door, and low, which meant using any appliances in the bathroom (dryer, shaver, etc.) was very cumbersome. Not sure if it was just this room or all of them that are like this. August 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Staff When the Staff remembers your name, actually talks to you and smiles, then Holiday Inn has done an excellent job in hiring. The Chef came out both in the morning and night to talk to us, that is a great sign. The Bar was great in making sure everyone had their favorite beverage at all times. Very personable. The gals cleaning the rooms actually talked to us, not just a low voiced "hello", but actually made eye contact and talked, another great sign of hiring staff. Of course the front desk is important getting everyone in and out in a timely, friendly manner. Great job done by all! August 25, 2014

This hotel is a short walk to Hartford's downtown area. The room was comfortable and restful. The only drawback was an outdated bathroom with a faulty door. August 24, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Business Meetings in the Neighbourhood Everything about the hotel was top notch EXCEPT the hallway to my room was full of food crumbs - for both the evening of the 13th and morning of the 14th. There was a family on the floor using the laundry facilities so I expect that the crumbs were from small children eating the cookies from the lobby. That is understandable but I was a bit surprised that the hall wasn't vacuumed at some point during my stay. August 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful staff I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were just as I expected, clean and quaint and when I questioned the front desk staff about not having a refrigerator Denise quickly offered one to be brought up to my room. Although it wasn't a deal breaker, the refrigerator and sincerity from Denise made it so much better. Throughout my stay I saw Denise plenty of times, whether politely helping another guest or just greeting me kindly in the lobby. I'm sure she is an asset to your hotel and I can see why. I will be staying at your location in the future and hope to see a friendly face again. August 19, 2014
