Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Not the greatest or cleanest for that matter. Mattress was hard. This Holiday Inn has ruined Holiday Inns for me in the future and will look for other places to stay. So when we get to our room i notice (took a picture) that the restroom vent was caked with dust. So this was obviously neglected for quite some time as dust does not build up like that if it is regularly cleaned. Actually light fixtures and everything else in the bathroom was dusty. Most of the pictures and other things on the walls in our room were dusty as well. What are you paying your housekeepers for if they are not doing their jobs? Waste of money. The bed, no offense, was hard. I have actually slept on more comfortable beds in motels than your actual Hotel. That is sad. So my wife and I went in to the "heated pool" and lets just say not really that heated, but that was not the worst part. The bottom of the pool was absolutely disgusting. We could not walk anywhere in that pool that did not have some kind of debris at the bottom of the pool. I own a pool so I can honestly say the pool had not been vacuumed in a day or two which is unacceptable. There were dirty towels all over the deck/outside floor of the pool and not just one or two so no one bothered to cycle through that area to make sure it was clean for other guests to use and the deck itself was also disgusting and looked like it had not been cleaned. So in the first 2 hours we were already turned off by your Hotel. That is sad. I will not stay at a Holiday Inn again based on this hotel. So then we wake up to go to breakfast since i did the breakfast package. Sign says "please wait to be seated". Ok no big deal granted there was no one person in the restaurant. It took over 2 mins for someone to even notice we were there. Awesome. I like waiting when there is no on in a restaurant. Food was ok was expecting a little more as the french toast was a little hard and tasted like it had been sitting in the warmer too long and no one bothered to check it. Never got a refill on my water either. Honestly, your service and housekeeping are awful. August 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by attentive staff I was recently in Hartford for a conference at the Hartford Convention Center. This Holiday Inn is a pleasant walk across a bridge away from the meeting site. This was far enough away from downtown to be very quiet for sleeping but close enough to walk to restaurants. The most impressive feature of this hotel was how attentive all the staff were. I was pleasantly surprised by the 'southern' hospitality shown to me. August 11, 2014

I woke up, checked some emails...then met a coworker for breakfast in the restaurant...everything was great! I was refreshed, comfortable and ready for work! August 10, 2014

The check in process was smooth and made my life easier with there knowledge of the area. After having a long day on the road it was a pleasure to see too very happy people welcome me in to the hotel. Will be spreading the word about the Hotel and the service I reveived from these ladies.
