Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spa after a long drive on A9 from Inverness I drove down the A9 from Inverness and it wasn't the most awesoem journey I've had on it. I did get lost trying to find the hotel once i got to East Kilbride. Though the directions the staff gave me over the phone were perfect . The spa was a welcome introduction to the hotel which the member of staff recommended when i arrived at reception. As was the sauna and pool. The bed is comfortable and i didn't hear any noise from outside, inc the dual carriage way or that.. The food is good and my stay was perfect. Though a couple of suggestions: Introduce peas to your evening menu, not everyoen likes mushy peas. Also provide better directions or produce a localised map of the location of the hotel on your website, or have it in a pdf format that you can download. The Holiday Inn is just down the road from the National Farm Museum of Scotland. Opposite the tax office. The posty code you provide is too general, you either end up in the Sainsburys car park which is nearby or a totally different location by the old Rolls Royce factory! Overall I shall be back again if i need to use a hotel close to the M74 south of Glasgow. Keep up the good work. May 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 25 April 2015 We stay at this particular Holiday Inn about 3- 4 times a year. We visit family that live in the local area. Its close to the Airport and the City Center. Our flight landed at 8.30 am we had rang ahead to the hotel to ask if we could get into our room earlier than check inn the receptionist ask us to call again as soon as we landed. when we rang there was a room available so we were very happy. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good service, room a bit shabby The hotel is well presented and the staff are friendly. However i was in a junior Suite which is in need of some TLC. Wallpaper peeling, loose carpet etc. April 29, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Facelift due This is an okay hotel, but it is not up to the standard of other Holiday Inns. My room - an upgrade - was shabby, with wallpaper coming off the walls, a very dirty window, and a threadbare carpet which had not been properly hovered. But the bathroom was excellent and the bed very comfortable. I can't help feeling I got this room because I was travelling on reward nights and was not therefore as important as a paying customer. The receptionist agreed the room was due for a refurb. There are better alternatives in the holiday inn family locally. April 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Plenty of room for improvements Breakfast unsatisfactoy; repair requested not carried out. Parking area surface looks like after bombs have hit it. "Executive room" not up to expected standards. April 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One night stay to meet with family Used the East Kilbride hotel again this year to meet up with family who gather from around the Uk. As last year we found the hotel met all our needs. Our room was quiet and dark so a good nights sleep. We did not use the restaurant in the evening on this occsion but from our experience last year I would recommend it. The bar was on a par with other similar hotels for price. It was never too busy so service was attentive and prompt. Didn't use the sports centre facilities but they looked great. We did find parking an issue last year (April 2014), conference we think, but plenty of spaces this time. Overall another nice stay April 23, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Business trip My room was a good size but needed the whole room re-furbing, I had noisy neighbours, only had one window open slightly, the other four windows didn't open at all and there where cigarettes in the Window Frame that hadn't been cleaned. The room was very scruffy with wall paper peeling off the walls and also the TV was very small, as it was far away from the bed itself. needs a lot of work to do on the room.... April 20, 2015
