PEOPLE TELL YOU ONE THING WHEN YOU MAKE RESERVATIONS AND AT HOTEL YOU FIND THE TRUTH!!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very clean and great hotel to relax Its our first time in this hotel but your stay for today was just relaxing. We have the six flag package the only challenge was going to six flag. We don't have a car so we need to get the taxi going in to six flag and going back to the hotel which cost us $60.oo in a day. It would be great if they provide a shuttle bus going to six flag and going back to the hotel even though we pay extra but not as much of $60.00 a day. We went to the bar lounge and I would say that the selection of cocktails plus the bartender wasn't not sure what she is doing. She is very friendly . Dinner comes we went to the restaurant but like the bartender in the lounge the waiters are very friendly but they look like they don't know what they are doing and what kind of food and drinks they were serving. The staff like I said was also very helpful when we first come in the room we need to call the maintaince to fix the tv and remote control because it wasn't working. But overall it was a great experience staying in the hotel. I have a very nice sleep for 2 nights! September 1, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Experience due to thin walls and careless staff We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in 2 different rooms. When we booked the room, the price we were quoted by the operator was much lower than the price we were given when we arrived. The walls between each room are uncomfortably thin. We could hear a baby crying all night that was 2 rooms away and also the people speaking at a normal volume in the next room as well. We tried to call the front desk to inquire about the possibility of delivery food and they didn't answer for 10 minutes before I gave up and had to get dressed to speak with them in person. When I arrived in the lobby, I found the security guard and front desk employee conversing with another guest about the thin wall issue and completely ignoring the ringing telephone on the front desk. Then I was told there was no food available in the area at that time of night (even if I picked it up myself), even though the next day I found a 24 hour market less than a mile away. The servers in the restaurant were nearly untrained and they were also unfriendly. The cola did not taste like cola and they spilled tomato sauce on me without apologizing. August 19, 2014

When we checked in, I felt as though I an my family was a burden, actually felt like apologizing for checking in. I was not greeted properly at all. We used a large amount of towels so requested more. The person that delivered towels wasn't friendly, it was obvious it wasn't his job because it was noticed in his actions. My wife did thank him, he just turned and walked away. The staff at this hotel with the exception of the manager who checked me out of my room because the staff was at a meeting, manager was very professional. August 18, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty decent hotel The room was clean and comfortable. The furniture was showing some wear, but it was not too bad. There was a comfortable couch. The bathroom was small, but pretty up to date looking. There were many towels, but they were pretty thin. We stayed on the top floor, which was quiet. Overall, a decent stay. July 31, 2014

However, they were inefficient and made several mistakes during our stay. They took a long time to resolve some of the problems, and one problem we had with the toilet was even left unresolved. Information seemed to be disconnected, or not recorded properly. The staff needs to have more training and be more knowledgeable and efficient. July 28, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible customer service, don't recommend this place The hotel, while average, really does itself a disfavor by the horrible front desk staff. When checking in, my card was charged the nightly rate, even though I was staying on points. As a platinum member, I received no recognition. Finally, when checking out, I was promised 500 points. However, it's been one week, and when calling today, they said the points get posted every few weeks. Simply unacceptable. Finally, the voice tone of the front desk staff, both in person, and on the phone, is condescending, like they couldn't be bothered to be of any help I've stayed at many Holiday Inns, but never at this property again. The eggs were so so, the pancakes were like cardboard and the oatmeal was very soupy. I did enjoy the bacon & fruit. Hiedi the morning host was very pleasant and polite. I have had comparable and better breakfast at much lower nightly rate hotels. Next time I think I will stay across the street. July 16, 2014

Rooms booked as a group not ready at check in time, by 5pm or midnight even after booking months in advance and confirming rooms days before. Guests did not receive the guest bags which were provided. No indication of our shuttle schedule. Paid for a shuttle that guests could not take because rooms were not ready. Did not have time to change to make shuttle so they had to drive. Guests (especially younger members) were over charged; not given the correct rate. Some of my guests who lived closer had to give up their rooms so others could have them. The list goes on. No one has yet to resolve our concerns and it has been 3 days since our stay. July 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by APPALLING SERVICE AND ACCOMMODATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our son was married on July 12, 2014. He and his bride had reserved a block of rooms for the wedding guests many months in advance at the Holiday Inn, East Windsor, NJ. As the parents of the groom, we personally reserved five rooms for our elderly relatives from out of state. Our rooms were reserved by phone in May, and we called two to three times in the weeks before the wedding to ensure that our reservations were confirmed for the big day. Check in time is at 3:00. At approximately 4:30 a large group of our guests arrived at the hotel after church and we were told that our rooms were not ready! We had a shuttle scheduled to pick up the wedding guests at 5:00. The lobby was literally filled with our guests. Some needed to get changed, all wanted to freshen up and at least get their bags into their rooms. At around 4:50, we were given just a few rooms, and everyone had to quickly throw their belongings into those rooms and literally run to take the shuttle! The Parents of the bride were so upset about their guests that they stayed behind and drove themselves to the reception! When we returned from the reception at midnight, our guests once again had to wait in the lobby for a good half hour before they sorted the rooms out. When we finally received our rooms we were quite annoyed to find out that they were on all different floors and none of our guests were near each other. As if that weren’t bad enough, when we finally got to our rooms they all had a horrible odor, and in fact, a window was wide open in one of the rooms (presumably an attempt to air it out). Throughout this horrible experience, we received no feedback from any kind of management, since there was none present. When we checked out the next day, we realized that we and our guests had been charged more than the agreed upon price for the block of rooms. When I asked to speak to a manager, a woman behind the counter identified herself as one. I expressed my dissatisfaction to her and she said she was “sorry”. Well, “sorry” can’t make up for the mortifying experience the parents of the bride and groom had to endure on a once in a lifetime day. We and our guests were not compensated in any way by the “management “of this hotel and their lack of concern was, quite frankly, appalling. They did not even offer an apology on the next day until I expressed my displeasure. I noticed in the reviews of this hotel that another bride had a similar negative experience on July 1st of this month. The response posted by hotel staff on July 3rd reads: “We would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the inconveniences you and your wedding guests experienced. We are very disappointed to hear this and your comments will be addressed with the entire staff to ensure that this does not occur again. Again, we apologize that this was your experience. Sincerely, Holiday Inn East Windsor” Well, P.S., it did occur again, in fact, only 11 days later! That’s some track record! I cannot think of a single positive thing to say about our experience at the Holiday Inn, East Windsor. In fact, I would never stay at another Holiday Inn, and I’m sure my guests feel the same way! The staff is cordial, the breakfast s good, though service was not highly rated. They were not rude, just a bit slow in service. Overall the amenities were great July 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE A block of rooms was reserved at this hotel for my brother’s wedding this past Saturday. Most of the guests reserved a room many months in advance and some of us even called the week of the wedding to confirm our reservation. There was a significant amount of time between the wedding ceremony at the church and the wedding reception. Due to this fact, dozens of the guests planned to check in and relax at the hotel before the reception. Many of the wedding guests were not even dressed for the wedding and planned to get ready in their hotel room. However, when the guests arrived more than an hour AFTER check-in time, the vast majority of them were told that the rooms were not ready. Dozens, including many elderly people, were standing in the lobby with nowhere to go. My brother and sister -in-law paid for a shuttle to take guests to the wedding. Due to lack of rooms, most of the guests were unable to take the first shuttle. The second shuttle was unable to fit all of the guests, most of whom still had no rooms. Many people, including the brides own parents, were forced to drive themselves to the wedding. When the guests returned to the hotel after the wedding checking in was STILL a HUGE inconvenience. Many people were still waiting in the lobby for a room after midnight. When many of the guests entered their rooms they were still unsatisfactory. Non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke, windows were left wide open, etc. I would also like to note that in addition to the huge inconvenience caused by the lack of rooms, the response from the staff was unacceptable. There was no manager available during the entire ordeal and the staff seemed undertrained and inefficient. Many people were OVER-charged for their rooms and no one was able to do anything to compensate us for our huge inconvenience. We were all completely disgusted. We will never stay in another Holiday Inn again. July 14, 2014

The game room has 3 out dated games in it. All 3 require you to use a toy gun and shoot at the screen. The rooms were nice and comfortable. July 7, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great night sleep but very poor service We stayed here for a wedding. Our check in went smoothly. But when I needed to have my card recharged the staff was unable to do so. They said all the key machines were not working. When we returned from our wedding late in the evening our bed was not made up nor was anything cleaned, trash taken out or new towels left. I have never had that experience in all our years of traveling July 7, 2014

Upon check in we encountered multiple problems which included, double booking of rooms to 2 different guests, keys that didn't work, room doors not locking and giving booked rooms away!
