This was a most enjoyable stay, everything in order, polite staff, bar fully staffed (two persons in the evening) Well cooked and presented breakfast, would not hesitate to stay again, has renewed by confidence in Holiday Inn September 25, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad show chaps This is an airport transit hotel and has been for some time. Rooms clean and to usual Holiday Inn standards but definitely getting tired.. Zero sound insulation so you'll hear door banging all night, not to mention the noise of water running through pipes. Customer service wise reception as expected high standards ... Bar is average with average beer range and the restaurant food nice unfortunately the service was appalling, failed to get drinks, one main course was wrong and desert just didn't turn up ... not to mention dirty glasses. I would not return to this hotel, especially at the price I'd expect better ! Saying that breakfast staff were great and best hotel breakfast coffee I've ever had. September 24, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great cruise package Stayed several times at this hotel prior to our cruise. Not too far from Southampton docks, so really handy for anybody going on a cruise. The package they offer is great value, B&B, leave the car safe for the duration of the cruise and a taxi there and back all for a similar cost of parking your car at the docks. Would recommend it to anyone. Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, and about a10 minute walk from Eastleigh centre. Will definately stay again. September 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean comfortable room We stay quite often in Holiday Inns or Holiday Inn Express because they tend to conform to a highly satisfactory standard and are well situated for airports and other amenities. The Holiday inn Southampton Eastleigh was better than the reviews I had read previously suggested. The breakfast was excellent and included in the price. The evening meal was also good. As an IHG member (once I mentioned this fact) I was able to get free wi-fi service in the room. The room was clean and comfortable and quite spacious. There was free parking on site. The staff were all very helpful and polite and friendly. Would stay there again if flying from Southampton or visiting the area. September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Above its weight. This hotel does not pretend to be a five star location. However, it punches well above its weight in the bracket where it operates. The hotel is clearly well managed, the staff have been trained ito first rate service, the rooms are more than adequate and the food and berate options are first rate. The hotel is extremely well located for those wanting a few days on the South coast, to fly from the nearby Southampton airport or to board a cruise at Southampton Docks. My wife and I travel extensively all over the world for business and this was a very good experience September 15, 2014
