Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent!!!! I stayed at this Holiday Inn, for the weekend. First of all, the staff is the friendliest, and foremost very welcoming. They had my room pre assigned, which allowed me to check in quickly. My room faced the pool, what a great view!!! I might add, the room was very clean and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, great Fajitas!! It was warm outside, however my AC worked great. This hidden Oasis is the perfect place to rest, or stay when you travel, I may just come back very soon, to enjoy another great experience.!!! Thank you Holiday Inn for taking good care of me. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable room, poor location We had a very unhappy experience at this Holiday Inn. We were traveling with my wife's sister and her husband and stayed at this location. We requested rooms next to one another or close by. We were given rooms on a second level separated by one room. The access to the rooms was difficult. You had to lug the luggage up a ramp, walk a distance to get to the elevator (only one for the entire complex) The complex is built similar to a maze with narrow walk ways, criss crossing each other. The elevator was extremely hot, and unbearable. The room was located in the center. Upon opening the door we were exposed to an equally hot room. It took an hour to cool it down to a manageable living condition. The shower head had to be replaced; it was rotted on the back so that the water sprayed onto the wall and onto the floor. The toilet clogged on first flush, requiring maintenance to unclog it. The room service orders had to be corrected due to forgotten items. Due to the extreme heat in the elevator my wife who has knee problems and does not climb stairs did so to avoid the extremely hot elevator. we had planned on staying (3) days, we checked out the next day and stayed elsewhere. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very prompt, courteous service. I checked in late around 10PM, and the desk clerk was immediately available to check me in. He was friendly and courteous. He used the map, suggested where to park and the best way to get to my room, which was clean and comfortable. Maid service was very good. This hotel was very convenient to my events taking place on the West side of El Paso. The manager gave me a great rate for my 6-night stay! I would definitely stay there again. September 5, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Interesting layout for a Holiday Inn This hotel has a lot of potential. The lobby is beautiful. The rooms need updating ie: bathroom sink is old and cracked and should have been replaced years ago. The air conditioner is very noisy. I try to only stay in Holiday Inn hotels which is why I believe the air conditioner needs work other hotels have quieter air conditioners. I had a drink in the bar and found that the bar stools were so uncomfortable that I had to move to a table. The seats were so worn out that you sank in-between the frame. I ate at the restaurant and was not impressed. I order fish and chips. The fish was not cooked properly. The batter was greasy, some of the fish was not cooked thoroughly. The waiters were inexperienced. They did not come and ask how my meal was until I had basically given up on it. I was asked if I wanted anything else, which I did not. I was not compensated in anyway for the meal. I also was not asked if I wanted a new drink when it was empty. There was only one other customer present. I was also disappointed that I had to wait till 6pm till I could eat. I do believe all of the issues this hotel has can be correct an become a top rated place to stay. August 31, 2014
