While in town for a conference, I found the staff to be very accomodating in getting me to and from the airport at inconvenient hours. The hotel was clean and quiet and a good value.

My phone wasn't working, it took 3 hours to come up to see and fix it. My shower/tub was dirty, I had to let the hot water shower run to spray out all the scum that had settled to the bottom of the tub before I could step into it. It made me wonder how clean my room actually was knowing the housekeeper had clearly not seen the unplugged phone and black stuff all over the bottom of the tub like he or she did... Also, it was a fairly busy hotel the night I stayed, I had to park in the back parking lot and the lock to the door to enter hotel from the back was broken for anyone to enter. It was worrysome to me.

we were quite surprised by this older hotel. They have tried to update with new carpets etc. Rooms are clean, quiet. The only down side to our stay was the restaurant. Terrible food, terrible service. Don't bother to eat at the hotel and you'll have a pleasant stay.

Your room and beds are great, room was always clean and we had fresh linens everyday. On Saturday night a large group of teenage hockey players were quite loud and rowdy, the walls to our room were shaking and they were out in the halls running and yelling. At 1:30 am I knocked on their door and asked them to please tone it down, which they did. It would seem to me that large groups of youth like these boys need to have more adult supervision or made aware that they need to be polite and quiet for the other guests.
I was with the NEHCA group and last year our breakfast ticket included the entire breakfast line. This year it only included cold cereal, toast, muffins, etc , one day we had fruit. This was disappointing to me and my brother.

Strictly a leisure trip with the family. Many listed amenities were not available. Staff was understanding, but we cannot get the time back. We chose this hotel for the amenities that were unavailable and I had called asking about the status two days prior. They need better maintenance and communication.

ENTIRE THIRD FLOOR CORRIDOR SMELLED LIKE SMOKE.
WAS SPAYED WITH AIR FRESHENER AFTER A BUNCH OF PEOPLE COMPLAINED.
THE SO-CALLED HEATED POOL WAS BROKEN ALL WEEKEND. THE TEMPERATURE WAS ABOUT 60 DEGREES IN THE POOL, SO KIDS WERE NOT TOO HAPPY..... SPOKE TO FRONT DESK AND THEY OFFERED NO REMEDY FOR THE FREEZING COLD POOL.

I had a fair to average experience at this Holiday Inn. We arrived tired in the evening after spending the day at Big E. Check in was fast and easy with great front desk staff. The restaurant on premises was opened and we went to eat. Definitely very poor quality in food. The beds in the room were comfortable however the bathroom shower looked dirty and needed updating. Overall stay was ok but not worth what we paid.

This hotel is in a great location, rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant severely lacks. Continental breakfast was very average. Another meal was poor quality. The elevators need attention. Staff was good, very helpful, but hotel needs attention;

Our stay at the Enfield Holiday Inn was just perfect! We can always count on the front desk staff to be professional and efficient as were Megan at check-in and Amalia on check-out. Our room met all our needs and it was the most restful sleep we've had in weeks! The breakfast buffet was very good with hot and cold choices. Cindy, the server, is friendly and made sure our coffee/tea cups were always filled. When we visit family, this Holiday Inn is always our choice- convenient, clean, comfortable!

Being 20 minutes from Bradley airport its handy for business and leisure. The staff are very friendly and welcoming (especially Jim at the bar!). The food is good with prompt service with a smile.
The indoor pool is very cold, so only used it once (would have used itevery night if it had have been warmer). The fitness suite is average along with the hotel decor.
The room i was in on the 5th floor needed some refurb in respect of the bathroom!...with tiles cracked and scraped and water behind the silicone sealant in the bath. This is my only gripe about the hotel.
Overall i would recommend it.

This is one of the few hotels that I am able to walk in, be recognized, have my room keys ready, complimentary snack, over-the-top customer service every time. It's one of the few parts of my day that little to no thinking is required on my part, which for a busy professional, is a tremendous asset after a long day.

the hotel is badly in need of remodeling - carpeting in hallways is worn and stained, wallpaper torn in places, bathroom tile cracked, tubs old and stained, rooms had kind of an odd layout with exposed pipes in closets, etc. But the rooms are clean and spacious, nice lobby, restaurant food not bad (closed between 10am and 5pm?), and the service (both in restaurant and front desk) was very professional, friendly and helpful.

A very warm welcome, clean room and comfortable bed. Unfortunately there were a couple of little hairs in tub area and the bathroom floor could have been cleaner. I was not impressed with the quality of the breakfast buffet. It would have been fine if it was included in the price of the room. But it wasn't worth $11.50 extra.

The staff is wonderful at all times. They greet you well, they accommodate you well, they know their jobs and they seem to enjoy what they're doing and who they work for. You don't always get that in other locations.
The rooms are always clean, and they seem to know to group the noisy folks away from the relaxing ones.
They TRULY offer not only an affordable price, and you do get the sense that they get the concept of "we shouldn't charge outrageous rates simply because we can", and that goes a long way with me. (Are you listening Newington location?)
Restaurant has excellent food, and again, not outrageously priced. The only thing that caught me off guard this stay was that they'd changed the breakfast policy, but I can live with that.
Keep doing what you're doing HI Enfield. I not only come there to "get away" and for business, I tell everyone I know to do the same.

We have stayed at this hotel often and one of the things my children look forward to is the breakfast buffet. When arriving, the kids were very disappointed, as most of the food was geared towards adults and not very "kid friendly" A woman overheard us talking and was quick to ask if there was a problem. When I explained the situation to her, she quickly did what she had to do, in order to please my children and I might add, the many other children that came in after us. Thank you very Much Aggie. The kids loved the fluffy waffles, the bacon and the scrambled eggs. I feel Aggie went above and beyond to please us and that has been my experience from the start. The staff is more than accomodating and willing to make anyone who stays at this hotel happy.

Great srAy other than the fire alarm going off during the night. Everyone evacuated outside quickly. No one from the hotel informed us if what was going on. Several of the guest were standing in the rain. We stayed outside for about an hour. When we saw the fire truck leave, we went inside. We felt that if the fire department was not concerned the we should not be either. We did hear from the hotel staff if it was ok to go back on. We just took the chance because no one from the hotel seemed concerned that we were standing outside on the rain for an hour.

Rooms are spacious, nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room.
Outdoor and indoor pool a plus for my stay during the summer.
The staff was nothing but friendly from day one till the present day and have made me feel welcome during my weekly business trips to ct.
I would recommend staying here to others.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The overall experience was good and staff was great. I thought the room could be in a little better repair. The entry light was out, one of the light-blocking drapes was missing the pull rod, and the shear drapes were stained. These are things I would hope that the cleaning staff should notice when they are cleaning rooms from prior guests. The beds were very comfortable and the overall room was clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. This would be a hotel I would stay at again! Thank you.

The front desk woman was very personable and pleasant.
Our room was not ready at check in time so she gave us some breakfast coupons.
The pool area was clean but we were very disappointed that the hotel decided to get rid of the hot tub. They filled it with soil and put plants in it! Bad decsion!
This is our 4th year coming to this hotel and the food only seems to be getting worse not better. Having the bartender be the waiter at the same time does not work, never has, never will. As much as he tried to do it all, he just wasn't able to keep up. With a group of 20 people, we choose to get take out from a local restaurant the next night.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The staff smiles and goes above and beyond! They took the time to explain features of the hotel to make our stay more enjoyable. They graciously accommodated our early departures daily for our convention by starting the breakfast early and maintain a smile then too. One evening we had a fire alarm and this did not hamper our recommendation because of the staffs diligence in remedying the situation quickly and calmly- being very apologetic even though it was not there fault! We really enjoyed our stay and will be willing to drive a little farther to stay here in the future.

We had a great stay. Great six flags deal. Rooms are clean. Only downfall was the restaurant. Only one guy working in the entire place. He also has to deliver room service. Food preparation was poor. We felt so bad for him that we cleaned up both of our tables before we left. He was apologetic. Overall, good place to stay.

We had a large party of 18 people. The food in the restaurant was not very good, the pizza tasted like it came out of a microwave. Thr breakfast was even worse and tasted old. In order to keep guests coming I would recommend changing the quality of your food. The bartender seemed over worked and we all felt like we were inconveniencing him. One round for our group was 70 dollars so I don't know why he wasn't happier about us. The fact that instead of fixing the hot tub you chose to dump soil and flowers in it was a little off putting. Also the way the employees told us the pool was closing was extremely rude coming in and yelling at us like we were not paying customers. Someone should address the delivery of telling guests that the pool is closed. With all of these things that I have listed our group will be deciding if we will be looking for a new hotel next year for our trip. I felt that it was necessary to inform you of these problems.
