Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HI Enfield CT The meal on Saturday evening was terrible. The meat was not cooked. Had to return 3x. I did not eat any portion of my meal except the desert and coffee which was good. The staff had to install one table as they were short. This should not happen. WE cannot purchase any wine during the meal. What more can I say? June 18, 2014

Having a Breakfast Bar with eggs and bacon and sausage and yogurt and fresh cut fruit. Great Orange Juice!!! Wish list: Please bring back your hot tub!!!!!! Replace the sometimes not so easy to cut french toast with belgium waffles. Thicker syrup - current syrup is very watery. June 6, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice rooms but expensive breakfast Hotel is very close to Six Flags. Rooms were nice and clean. Plenty big enough for 4 people for a weekend. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only down sides were the expensive costs of breakfast and drinks at the bar, the pool was too warm, and had no hot tub. Also watch yourself going into the bathroom! There's a step up that you will jam your toe into each time you enter! June 4, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Would not recommend this hotel I was very disappointed with the stay. The decor of the hotel was outdated. The pool was cold and there was no hot tub Jacuzzi or sauna. There was no towels in the pool room.The pool was dirty and the pool room was run down. The continental breakfast was fair the sausage was gross. Staff was fair could have been more helpful. There was constant noise and my family and I were unable to sleep April 28, 2014

The heating unit could only maintain 70 degrees if it were set at 80 degrees and it wasn't that cold outside. The bathroom was so tiny that the door hit the curtain rod and prevented one from sitting straight on the toilet seat. Other issues were corrected by staff. March 17, 2014

Breakfast prices were raised and no comp cold breakfast. Stayed at this holiday before and never had any problems. March 9, 2014

On a cold night enjoyed not having to go out of the hotel for dinner or for breakfast in the a.m. However, restaurant and halls were cold. We didn't know you had a buffet breakfast until we went for dinner and saw the set up for breakfast. Waiter couldn't answer our questions so we went to the desk in the a.m. and asked. However, no one ever told us there was either a continental breakfast of full breakfast. We started asking questions when we overheard the waitress explaining the difference to another guest. The Chef visited our table, and I told him the buffet was cold. Also were never told that we could have gotten eggs cooked to order until we overheard that information also. The night before the menus should have been wiped down and the salt and pepper shakers at both dinner and breakfast needed to be washed or at least wiped. We really dislike eating with coats on. However, all said and done, we would stay again. February 20, 2014

GM Tom has assembled a staff that has made his hotel a memorable one and one I will continue to stay at every trip I make to the area, Robert stands out for his professionalism and was able to help me with directions and able to exceed my every need. Meghan as well as Robert very professional and helpful. I was actually stranded in CT due to my drivers license being expired un known until I arrived and unable to rent a car, The staff was able to offer the shuttle to me to go to store and back to the airport. I feel I made friends with many of the staff and look forward to my next visit. Unfortunately the pool was out of order for the duration of my visit. The lobby and hallways were particularly cold. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay on a snowy night Quiet. Newer furnishings and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was better than most comparable hotels, with several hot food items paid for with a $5.00 voucher given to me at check-in. It snowed while I was there, and the snow plow service was very prompt. They did a great job of clearing off the parking lot access as much as practical, but they did not touch the sidewalk on the side of the hotel. The only significant negative was the bathroom fan seemed to push a little air into the bathroom rather than pull. As a result the bathroom was a bit cold, and I kept the bathroom door closed during the night. Is the exhaust fan running backwards? December 23, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by couple issues There were no priority club favors extended at front desk upon check in. That is a departure from recent past there. They just thanked me and no water , candy , fruit was offered as it had been before. The room clock was off about 8 hours and no instructions as to how to re-set it. Clock by bedside should be accurate and any alarm setting should be OFF. December 16, 2013
