A very warm welcome, clean room and comfortable bed. Unfortunately there were a couple of little hairs in tub area and the bathroom floor could have been cleaner. I was not impressed with the quality of the breakfast buffet. It would have been fine if it was included in the price of the room. But it wasn't worth $11.50 extra.

The staff is wonderful at all times. They greet you well, they accommodate you well, they know their jobs and they seem to enjoy what they're doing and who they work for. You don't always get that in other locations.
The rooms are always clean, and they seem to know to group the noisy folks away from the relaxing ones.
They TRULY offer not only an affordable price, and you do get the sense that they get the concept of "we shouldn't charge outrageous rates simply because we can", and that goes a long way with me. (Are you listening Newington location?)
Restaurant has excellent food, and again, not outrageously priced. The only thing that caught me off guard this stay was that they'd changed the breakfast policy, but I can live with that.
Keep doing what you're doing HI Enfield. I not only come there to "get away" and for business, I tell everyone I know to do the same.

We have stayed at this hotel often and one of the things my children look forward to is the breakfast buffet. When arriving, the kids were very disappointed, as most of the food was geared towards adults and not very "kid friendly" A woman overheard us talking and was quick to ask if there was a problem. When I explained the situation to her, she quickly did what she had to do, in order to please my children and I might add, the many other children that came in after us. Thank you very Much Aggie. The kids loved the fluffy waffles, the bacon and the scrambled eggs. I feel Aggie went above and beyond to please us and that has been my experience from the start. The staff is more than accomodating and willing to make anyone who stays at this hotel happy.

Great srAy other than the fire alarm going off during the night. Everyone evacuated outside quickly. No one from the hotel informed us if what was going on. Several of the guest were standing in the rain. We stayed outside for about an hour. When we saw the fire truck leave, we went inside. We felt that if the fire department was not concerned the we should not be either. We did hear from the hotel staff if it was ok to go back on. We just took the chance because no one from the hotel seemed concerned that we were standing outside on the rain for an hour.

Rooms are spacious, nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room.
Outdoor and indoor pool a plus for my stay during the summer.
The staff was nothing but friendly from day one till the present day and have made me feel welcome during my weekly business trips to ct.
I would recommend staying here to others.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The overall experience was good and staff was great. I thought the room could be in a little better repair. The entry light was out, one of the light-blocking drapes was missing the pull rod, and the shear drapes were stained. These are things I would hope that the cleaning staff should notice when they are cleaning rooms from prior guests. The beds were very comfortable and the overall room was clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. This would be a hotel I would stay at again! Thank you.

The front desk woman was very personable and pleasant.
Our room was not ready at check in time so she gave us some breakfast coupons.
The pool area was clean but we were very disappointed that the hotel decided to get rid of the hot tub. They filled it with soil and put plants in it! Bad decsion!
This is our 4th year coming to this hotel and the food only seems to be getting worse not better. Having the bartender be the waiter at the same time does not work, never has, never will. As much as he tried to do it all, he just wasn't able to keep up. With a group of 20 people, we choose to get take out from a local restaurant the next night.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The staff smiles and goes above and beyond! They took the time to explain features of the hotel to make our stay more enjoyable. They graciously accommodated our early departures daily for our convention by starting the breakfast early and maintain a smile then too. One evening we had a fire alarm and this did not hamper our recommendation because of the staffs diligence in remedying the situation quickly and calmly- being very apologetic even though it was not there fault! We really enjoyed our stay and will be willing to drive a little farther to stay here in the future.

We had a great stay. Great six flags deal. Rooms are clean. Only downfall was the restaurant. Only one guy working in the entire place. He also has to deliver room service. Food preparation was poor. We felt so bad for him that we cleaned up both of our tables before we left. He was apologetic. Overall, good place to stay.

We had a large party of 18 people. The food in the restaurant was not very good, the pizza tasted like it came out of a microwave. Thr breakfast was even worse and tasted old. In order to keep guests coming I would recommend changing the quality of your food. The bartender seemed over worked and we all felt like we were inconveniencing him. One round for our group was 70 dollars so I don't know why he wasn't happier about us. The fact that instead of fixing the hot tub you chose to dump soil and flowers in it was a little off putting. Also the way the employees told us the pool was closing was extremely rude coming in and yelling at us like we were not paying customers. Someone should address the delivery of telling guests that the pool is closed. With all of these things that I have listed our group will be deciding if we will be looking for a new hotel next year for our trip. I felt that it was necessary to inform you of these problems.

We were in the area for our convention in Amherst. Even though we had a large group staying at the hotel all the staff was friendly, patient, and professional. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were able to relax in the evening and enjoy our quiet comfortable accommodations. We appreciate your service and will plan on staying with you next year. THERE WAS SO MUCH MISSING FROM THE ROOM - NO HANGERS, NO HAIR DRYER, NO SOAP DISH AT THE SHOWER, NO HANDLE ON THE DOOR TO OUTSIDE, NO TISSUES. IT LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE TOOK AWAY ANYTHING THAT WASN'T BOLTED DOWN. THE ROOM ALSO DID NOT HAVE A CLOSET. I MADE THE RESERVATION ONLINE WHERE IT SAID BREAKFAST WAS INCLUDED; IT WASN'T. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED.

We liked the location of the hotel, the rooms, and the availability of a lounge, pool, and full breakfast. The pool area was great. The buffet for the breakfast ran out of food often and the staff seemed over their heads in terms on expectations (too few staff for numbers of people dining).
The workout room needs a serious overhaul.
The lounge service at night was very friendly and food was decent. Other staff friendly and helpful.

We had the best stay at the Enfield Holiday Inn!! Our grandchildren were with us and they had so much to do there. They loved the pools which were in pristine condition! One of the houseman would pop by ever so often to make sure the towels were in ample supply. There was room for them to run and play in the recreational area. We ate all our meals onsite. Food was great. The kids meals were a deal ($4.95)- ample portions and topped off with a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. One night the special was pork chops for the adults. Not one but two tender pork chops with potato, veggie and a salad for $12.95! I can't say enough about the attentive staff- from front desk to food service to housekeeping- they are all superb! Thanks to the houseman who took a dirty diaper from me outside my room to personally dispose of it!! This hotel is a well run ship- hats off to the GM!

At the front desk Gina ,Robert &Vinny are very helpful and go out of their way to make my stay enjoyable ,the resturarnt has very inconsistent food and the night staff seems to be overwhelmed with very few people in the resturarnt . The house keeping does a nice job but they need to talk to maintenance so they can take care of the small probablems in each of the rooms. I have stayed at this hotel for the past 13 weeks and overall it has been a fine place to stay thank you

I was in town to once again visit family. The Enfield Holiday Inn once again met all my needs starting with check-in with Megan. She recognizes me and greets me by name! This is the ideal location for my stay and it is my hotel choice many times over. After hectic days with the family I come back to my room to relax and get some perfect sleep as that is what this Holiday offers. The room is fully supplied and free wifi. The view from my room was of the lovely grounds. The large outdoor pool, shuffleboard, basketball court, volleyball court offers so much fun to any family. Each morning I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The bowl of fresh fruit reminded me of my Grandmother's- all freshly cut and such variety. Noreen and Cindy, the servers, kept the flow of the busy room moving. They are always so pleasant. Good news is, I will be back next weekend and am bringing my grandchildren with me. They are going to have fun here!!

Pros - Easy Access off 91; Nice staff and accommodations; nice in-room amenities, including flat-panel TV, refrigerator and microwave, and safe.
Con - In-room A/C was very noisy and cycled constantly.

This "suite" was actually two standard rooms with two changes: the shower/bath was taken out of one bathroom and the connecting door between the two rooms was permanently unlocked. These modifications left lots of wasted space, which wouldn't have been a problem except the furnishings were so sparse, it left us wondering how much nicer the room could have been if the space had been more thoughtfully used. The worst was towel service (*sometimes* the used towels were picked up, but when they were they were only occasionally replaced with clean ones later in the day -- so forget coming back to your room in the middle of the day to freshen up: hard to do with no towels) and bed service (not made 3 days out of 7).

This is a really great place to stay. We were in CT for a week attending our Grandson's graduation so we spent a lot of time at the hotel. The restaurant was excellent. The room was always clean. We enjoyed the outdoor pool. But the very best thing about our stay was the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. We will stay here again next time we are in CT.

What a fresh change from the downtown Springfield hotels. To be so close by and yet surrounded by land that feels like a resort, that is truly relaxing. The only thing missing though was a golf course!

We stayed here for convenience as it was within 1 mile from family we were visiting. We have stayed at this property years ago when it was a different franchise. This is an old hotel that has had updates over the years, but is now in need of a serious gutting and complete renovation. The room was filthy with mildew growing all over the shower and bathroom. There was "private" hairs all over the sink and floor of the bathroom. The carpet was dirty. There was moulding missing around the HVAC unit so insulation falling out of wall into the room. The draperies were ripped and looked at least 20 years old. Needless to say we will not be staying at this hotel again. Our family lives right down the street and we will be telling all extended family to stay elsewhere (even if 30 minutes away) when visiting there again. Wish this had been different, but it was very, very bad!

I was at this hotel recently because my son had a local lacrosse tournament. I planned on complaining at the front desk to the man there upon our checkout, but I didn't say anything. The man at the desk was very nice though - that was the one thing about the hotel that I was happy about. We needed towels and when I looked out of my door I saw a housekeeper pushing her cart. I asked her for a few more towels and she replied with "no more towels. Sorry" and that was it. I said, " You don't have any more towels?" and her only reply was "No". How can a hotel have no extra towels???
Other than that, we had a room on the 1st floor down a very hot hallway, and rooms could have been a bit cleaner. It was good for the 1 night, but I don't think I will be going back.

My family had a great time at this Hotel, we stayed here for a lacrosse tournament "Viper Team" Long Island, that was close by this hotel. This location is very close to all the Main Parkways "91". The two (2) pools in door & outdoor were very clean and the staff was very helpfull. I have stayed at a couple of Holiday Inns in the past and this one was probably the most up to date and cleanest of them all. I'm sure the whole Viper Family will be staying here for years to come. This is a Top Notch Hotel and Staff. Thank You Very Much.
