Sadly, the bed was excessively soft, the room had an indiscernible odor and the price was very high considering a Thu night in off-season for the park and nearly 35 miles from the city.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bob CCR in AR comfortable beds and great bar
We had a really good stay here and would recommend this holiday inn to all. We were in a room by the pool and it was noisy until 10:30 pm but after that it was nice . We will come back . It does need locks on the sliding door to the pool area so you don't have to go all the way around but all in all this is a great hotel for family or anyone . The history was amazing to learn how it came about to be a hotel and the wood work was very nice . The lobby was so pretty , all over the hotel was nice .

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Flyingairedale Outdated Rooms
I stayed in the Annex. The rooms are out of date, looking like they were built and furnished in the 70's. Bathroom drain was slow, electrical outlets were sparse, which in this age of mobile devices, is very inconvenient. Clothes hanger bar was rusted and wallpaper seams were curling.
Price was obviously high due proximity to six flags. Since I was going to Purina Farms, I'll go down the freeway a couple of exits next time. There's a run down Travel Lodge that's just as good as this property and much cheaper.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cruiselady22 Not Feeling "Club" Membership
Disappointed with extended building as "Club" member. In a previous visit I was given a complimentary upgrade to inside. I was told this was because of my "Club" membership. I put in the request for an inside room when I made the reservation. I also called the Hotel directly to check on inside rooms. When I checked in it wasn't even mentioned until the clerk was almost done and then noticed "Club" on my reservation. We don't get the budget rate rooms..we always get the refundable rooms which are the highest price..We eat all our meals there with all kinds of extras for the kids! Dining room food and service was excellent. Loved the shuttle drivers. I earned a free room due to "club" membership, I will return to redeem some time. After that I'm not sure...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Medic 194 Great overall experiance
We had a very good vacation. The hotel was very nice. The building was an old horse stable that was converted into the hotel. The staff of the resturant (I think it was called The Hay Market) went over and above thier normal duty to accommodate us and the food was really good with very fast service. The shuttle service was great, especially the drivers they were very entertaining. Overall it was a wonder experiance. I highly recommend it.

This hotel has so much potential!!! Close to Six Flags free shuttle and awesome family area with pool, arcades and games. For the price Holiday Inn should really renovate this property new beds and fridges in rooms!!!! I've stayed in nicer hotels a lot less money and with a fridge! Staff were all great especially Hanna in the Haymarket restruant and the lady driving shuttle bus!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cindy925 Great for kids
Indoor pool and fun room was great for the kids. As was the shuttle between the hotel and Six Flags. Small issue with toilet flushing. Hamburgers in dining room tasted awful and overpriced; made everyone sick.
