We stayed here for a wedding reception the room was clean and quite. The linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. If I had any complaints at all it would be with the restaurant, the quality didn't match the cost in my opinion although the service was top notch.

I love the story behind this property and the way the managers have utilized it for today's consumers. Marvel at the combination of historic and modern surroundings.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Springers64 Great Time At Six Flags, Eureka
As National Specialty Show Chair for the ESSFTA, it is my responsibility to find a hotel with banquet facilities in the Gray Summit, MO, area. We have been using this hotel since 2012 for our National Specialty. The people are very welcoming. The grounds are wonderful for our beautiful Springers. They have a bath house for ease in bathing and grooming. This is truly a pet-friendly hotel.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mike012345 Great staff... Beds not comfy and noisy heater
Very courteous and helpful staff.
I guess I'm a softy... My hips were sore in the middle of the night from the firmness of the beds.
Also, the heater turned on and off about every two minutes. It was cool out, but found it hard to fall asleep.

This hotel is definitely only for people with kids going to Six Flags. It is need of updating. Very noisy!!! and smells of pool chlorine.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by upnorthwi Nice stay, could be improved upon.
We were staying again for the annual English Springer Spaniel Nationals at Purina Farms.
The hotel is nice.
It is very pet friendly, though they stop providing towels in the dog bath house.
The room was comfortable though looking worn and a bit out dated.
The resturants and bar wasn't of much use as the hours are limited and change in November. We had to settle for McDonald's across the street.
Offering better hours and opportunities to eat, drink and use the pool would be nice.
Including refridgerators and microwaves would be nice.
A more comfortable mattress would be greatly appreciated, it's hard as a rock. We both had sore backs and poor sleep.
