Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The Hotel and the Haymarket restaurant was excellent. The hotel stay was very comfortable. Having an inside and an outside door on the family room was great for loading and unloading. We took advantage of the Kids eat free option at the Haymarket restaurant, so glad we did! The food and service was excellent. We had three children and four adults in our party. Everyone thought the food and the service was very good. May 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hotell needs to be worked on The staff was helpful and considerate but their is only so much that the staff can offer when the conditions of the hotel are bad. Bugs and leaky ceiling. Bathroom were old and run down. I'll have to think twice before I stay in another Holiday Inn. May 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Family stay for an exciting weekend no parking around the front door or near your room, outdated and low maintenance. pool was nice hot tub was a warm 80, dry sauna was nice. preview of room showed 3rd floor room we got ground level next to shuffle board and putt putt golf. hotel staff goes through at 11 pm and makes sure its picked up and quiet. no fridge or microwave in room. stayed at the drury the next night and it was cheaper and up to date with a KILLER FREE BREAKFAST!!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AMAZING STAFF!!! I can't say enough about how amazing and helpful the staff at this hotel is. I am not one to fill out survey cards or the "employee star cards", but at this hotel I filled out over 12 of them. From the front desk recommending hiking trails, the restaurant going out of its way with room service to the grooming building, the fixing of the hot water heater in the grooming building, to the overall friendliness of the staff. I had better service here than I have had at 4 Seasons hotels. May 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dog Show Fun We love the home-like atmosphere of this Holiday Inn. For those of us with dogs, it is such a relief to find an establishment that appreciates us. We would only travel with our dogs if they were well behaved and the staff seemed to really appreciate and enjoy having us and our animals stay with them. They bent over backwards to see that we had everything we needed for our stay. OUr dog show was actually on the hotel site and we thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of having your facility close. Thanks for all your support and we'll be visiting again soon! May 7, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service, Superb Ribs Staff couldn't have been nicer from Cecelia at the front desk when I checked in to the host, server and manager of the restaurant. The host's recommendation of the St. Louis Style BBQ Ribs when I asked was a wise decision! They were superb. Only negative was I had an outside room facing south. Gap in the outside door was wide enough that cold air (it got down to 31 degrees) was coming through. I took a cushion off a chair and placed it along he bottom of the gap and stuffed wash cloths along the middle and top. Otherwise this was a great experience and I will return when in the area on business. April 29, 2015
