Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely hotel, needs maintenance The hotel is in an excellent location for area attractions, the staff was friendly, the pool and recreation area are clean but the building as a whole needs maintenance. The roof leaks (we could hear dripping that we could not see and there was a forest of buckets to catch the drips in the hallways). The doors to rooms 346 and 348 were crooked in the frames which allowed cold air to come into the rooms; the heater roared which made sleep impossible. January 15, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth it We decided to stay here because of the "fun dome". Would not stay here again. The rooms are quite outdated. The dome is large, with a pretty large pool, but the dome was so cold, the kids didn't want to get in very much. The hot tub felt more like a warm bath. There is shuffle board, and a putting green, but otherwise you have to pay for all other games in the dome. Would be nice to have breakfast included with what you pay to stay there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. January 13, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great family hotel My extended family (a group of 35) stayed here over the holidays. This is a great place for a family stay or large group gathering. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and professional. The facilities are clean and unique due to the historic building the hotel is built around. It was nice to have a full service restaurant inside the hotel. The food was good and service great. We will definitely come back. January 8, 2015

Always look forward to that time -- plenty to do in the area as well as several places inside the hotel to just sit and enjoy it. Highly recommend Pool view room -- you'll love watching the pool area, kids area and lounge. January 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super Service! The gal called us the day before a last minute New Year's Eve booking to clarify if we needed a W/c room. Did not-- the reservation person just put us there because didn't want to pay increased fees for other rooms. She moved us to what I now think was a smoking room, which turned out OK, because couldn't smell any smoke. She moved us because we were just passing through on our way back home and needed a good night's sleep away from any hoopla. Fabulous! Had a nice, quiet, peaceful night. Got a great night's sleep and up early and on the road early next morning. Can't thank that gal enough! Only thing I don't like about HI is that they don't seem to allow you to call the hotels directly anymore. Also-- I think that $25 pet fee is a bit steep! January 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Christmas at the Holiday Inn Six Flags Although this location added some travel time to the many family visits we had to make, it was perfect for the children and grandchildren and when other family members joined us Friday and Saturday evening, it made the visit even more memorable. The only unfortunate for the trip was that we were told that the restaurant would be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but it was not so we spent our food and beverage dollars elsewhere. If we had been told the reality on our call from the car during the day Wednesday, we would have been better prepared. Although the facilities have aged well, the pool area still needs better venting. We recognized that it is difficult to keep a constant temperature and humidity in a pool area. And the only other unfortunate was the family that took over the hot tub Friday and Saturday eveniing - filling it with 20 people at one time - so no one else could use it. January 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasantly surprised We were sent to St Louis to see a specialist for my daughter. We were a little nervous because of the nature of the visit. When we checked in at Holiday Inn Six Flags St. Louis, We were very surprised and pleased. The Hotel looked and felt like a Christmas Lodge. Made the experience more like an adventure instead of doctor's visit. December 27, 2014
