Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Room/Stay rating and /or review. Ability to individually control the room temperature was not at my disposal. I wanted it colder but even though I buried the needle it never got below 70 degrees (Yes I wanted it MUCH colder than 70 degrees). Each bathroom needs to have a vent fan, Period. The room is showing it's age. Go Look. Despite the fact I had four (smaller) pillows none of them suited my desired comfort level, thus the "Rest" was not as restful as it could have been. The provided breakfast seemed limited on items that are readily available at the competitor down the block. The quality was also below the competitor's standards. January 27, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Skip! Old, dirty, and poor service. This is one of the worst Holiday Inns I've stayed at. Gym equipment was old, broken, cracked. Water dispenser was empty & broken as well. Lobby smelled like mildew and chlorine. Carpet I. The room was stained and dirty looking. When we asked for a recommendation for dinner we were told "we have a restaurant here". When we asked for a recommendation else where we were told they don't recommend anywhere else. I requested a late check out, was told 1pm, but at 12pm my room key stopped working & I had to go to the front desk for a new key. January 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Your staff is TOPS We've stayed MANY NIGHTS at the Evansville Holiday Inn over the past several years, on work-related layovers. I'd guess 50+. Your staff is consistently the BEST. Quick courteous shuttle service, speedy check ins, and always with a smile. On top of their game for sure. Thank you for going the extra mile. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel was probably nice in 1988 We stayed for two nights while visiting family in Evansville. The beds were uncomfortable. They were older beds and we would have been better off sleeping on the floor. It would have actually been about the same. Very little give in the beds. Very stiff. The plunger in the tub was laying in the middle of the tub when we arrived. I picked it up and placed it on the side of the tub. When we returned that evening, the plunger was still there. The room had a balcony over looking the atrium and pool. Between each balcony, there were planters with mulch in them. At one time they had live plants in them. All the plants were dead. All the way across as far as we could see, all the plants were dead. Why don't they just pull them? They had been dead for some time as they were brittle to the touch. We left a tip for the maid service and requested extra wash cloth as there were three of us in the room. They left an extra wash cloth but only gave us two towels. In short, we would have been better off staying at a competitor. Not sure how it got it's 4.1 / 5 rating. This hotel is in need of a serious remodel. January 5, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Wouldn't recommend Bight parking lot light made sleeping tough since couldn't close curtains. Roomed smelled dirty, couldn't regulate temperature in room. The room just wasn't a pleasant place to be. I have better experiences at Holiday Inn in the past, don't stay there. December 30, 2014
