We stayed at Holiday Inn for a 3 day convention at the Nutter Center.
We really like the convenience of being so close to everything. We didn't eat at the restaurant. We were going to one night but when we checked it out there was no one in restaurant so decided not to. Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable. The air conditioner was really cold. I wish there was a fridge in the room but it all worked out. Would stay again!

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel for 2 days-won trip in a silent auction. Room was very comfortable-quiet atmosphere. Breakfast buffet was great with wide variety of choices. Service good on extras like coffee. Desk staff was very receptive to requests and concerns-we could not get into our room the second day. It involved using a different angle to enter the room-security even came to help.

Stayed for a week for the ITC convention. (Thunderbird Club). Had a great time. The night before we left, our grandson couldn't find his headphones. He went to the desk but they couldn't help him. Then he called the hotel on the way home and still had no luck. A man said he'd call him back but didn't. That night, his Mom called and they said they would look. They called her back and said they had been turned in. They mailed them right out and my grandson had them within two days. Thanks to the person who turned them in. They were a Xmas present and cost 300.00

We stayed at this hotel for a convention in June. From the moment we checked in we were well cared for the entire 9 days of our stay. The room was spacious and very comfortable; the food was excellent; the meeting rooms were cleaned and supplied daily; and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They tended to our every need all week.

Everything about my stay at this facility was flawless. The building and grounds were well manicured and clean; graffiti free, too. The staff was ideal. The room was quiet, clean, modern, and a handsome environment altogether. I felt safe, which included the inviolability of my car in the parking lot.
And all of this managed to be my impression after driving for twelve hours straight!
I would go out of my way to stay at this Holiday Inn again.

****Clean rooms/linen. Very impressed with the how clean it looked and felt. ***One of the reasons we use Holiday Inn.
Plenty of towels in pool area.
Comfortable bed - didn't have any trouble sleeping
staff was great about leaving requested items w/o disturbing us
Person checking in didn't ask if we were priority club members and failed to give us coupons for free kids' meals. Had to ask for anything relating to reduced cost/free items. Have to pay extra for a fridge in the room where in an Express it comes with it.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by computer1ll Overall Review of our stay 4/27/13 Worthington-West Wedding family member & guest at hotel over night.
Food and beverage at reception; amazingly good, my compliments.
Very disappointed; package price for room did not include courtesy continental breakfast the following morning as it did at
the hotel in California, where we travelled by air and car to attend and stay as over night guests following my nieces wedding; over night stay price, including free buffet, was very similar to what we paid at your hotel.
The California hotel where we stayed, provided an expansive array of breakfast buffet items for free, as a courtesy for staying over night at their hotel! The rooms were booked over night and that was 2010, not that long ago.
Otherwise, I did enjoy my stay at your hotel; it was quiet and clean but dusty around the baseboards and floor as though
housekeeping wasn't quite on the ball, taking shortcuts.
Allow more time for your staff to clean, please, if assigned too many rooms, they cannot do a thorough thankless job for you or your guests, and God knows! they generally are not nor in most cases, can't be paid their worth if good and caring in their tasks.
The staff member who cleaned our room, was friendly, I really appreciated that and felt welcome and truly a guest in a nice facility, possibly, the Midwesterner mental attitude as mine, usually friendly and willing to help others; probably because of our harsh winters; but none the less, the front desk and IT guest services people when we checked in, were absolutely marvelous!!
Helpful, knowledgably and Lord knows, patient!!
Thank you for this forum to communicate, I hope this comes out more positive than at first it may seem.
Yes; I would recommend your hotel!!

The price was pretty high, but probably because of the event at the nutter center. Hotel was pretty, and confortable. Beds were awsome, very, very comfortable, and lots of pillows, also nice tv. All the staff I came in contact were friendly and always spoke to you. I was charged for a restaraunt bill by mistake, (was for a different room) and when I questioned it at check out it was immediately explained to me that it was in error and taken care of! Will definately stay here again!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hojo Room was horrid!
Reserved a smoking king room. Ended up in a double non smoking room after it was confirmed, that was not what I reserved. The manager informed me that I had the cheapest rate so! Put us close to the door so we could go out and smoke. Something about an extended stay. Should have extended it out of my reserved room! Not happy wont go back.
The people in the restaurant were very nice even though the room service we ordered for breakfast (put on the door) didn't show up until we called to check on it.
Was offered a room at a "sister hotel" but we just had to walk across the street to where we were headed! No THANK YOU!
Could not and will not recommend it as a priority member. Didn't mean a thing there!

The Hotel staff was extremely helpful as was the lady in the restaurant for breakfast. Wish I could remember the name of the Lady from Housekeeping that did our rooms. (417 & 418) She was extremely helpful, kind, friendly and a great asset to the Holiday Inn. My Granddaughter had gotten sick on Friday nite and so she and I spent the weekend in the rooms. The lady was so nice to her and my son.
Rooms and beds very comfortable, clean, and spacious.
Have stayed here before and We'll be back.

It has been a "wonderful" experience as a long-term guest at your Holiday Inn, Fairborn, Ohio. As a regular business traveler all-over the U.S., I have much experience to draw from when I tell you that the staff is one of the very best -- "Bar-none." They are extremely customer focused from the moment you arrive in the parking lot through checkout. I have witness all aspects of what and how each department work together as a team can a customers stay a delightful experience each visit to your hotel in Fairborn. You should package their professionalism and service with a smile attitude as the water mark for all your locations. What these individuals and team has done is made me a marketing representative who now push your brand to everyone I meet who have plan to come to Dayton, OH and need a place to stay.

The room and bathroom was very clean and taken care of. The cleaning lady was super nice and asked if there was anything else we needed. I thought that was very nice of her. The front staff was mostly helpful, but I asked about tax exempt forms and not everyone was helpful to the situation. The restaurant was nice but too over priced!!! $11 for a breakfast equivalent to a free breakfast at other places. The pool was nice also. There is also no fridge or microwave in the place. And I couldn't find a toaster anywhere to fix a non-$11 breakfast.

This is the worst Holiday Inn i have ever stayed in anywhere. It is supposed to be under renovation but it was filthy from other use, not the reconstruction. The elevator looked like some one had drug a body out the doors.
never ever stay in that place again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ROMAD125 Okay experience
I have stayed in this particular hotel on business once or twice a year since 2006. Generally my stays have been pleasant however, my most recent stay was not up to the standard I have previously experienced. Check-in wait was over 10 minutes while the clerk attempted to check on an upgrade for the only individual in front of me. When the manager finally came and explained the upgrade situation to the other customer, the clerk started to check me in but, was in a rush to complete my check-in. I was not welcomed, given an apology for having to wait, or asked if I had stayed at the Dayton/Fairborn Holiday Inn before and explaining the pool, weight room, dining hours etc. which is the standard I had previously experienced. The breakfast coupon you receive for being a Platinum member is also inconsistent. During an earlier stay this year I received two coupons per day (one for myself and one for my wife) but, this time I only received one coupon for myself. When I pointed this out the clerk told me that isn't how they do it. I assured him it was previously and his response was you are all checked in. He seemed more concerned with getting the other individual the manager was now checking in taken care of. To be fair, I have never seen this particular clerk and he may have been a recent hire. My room was fine except it was on the interstate side in the rear so a little noisy with truck traffic. Recommend you ask for the front side when making your reservation. The breakfast staff are friendly and the food was good. The bartender has been there a long time and is very pleasant. Overall it was an okay experience but, in my case I may look for another hotel in the Wright Patterson area next time.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Brgk Reservation Charges
Rooms were great -- we got the adjoining rooms as requested. HOWEVER, I made all the reservations through our Block of rooms and asked the question when making the reservation at 800-HOLIDAY -- Obviously I don't need 4 rooms for myself. Will the people I am making these reservations for be able to put the room charges on to their own credit card. I was told YES.
However, when checking out at the hotel I checked to be sure only ONE room was on my card. I was told NO. ALL rooms were on my card. They couldn't switch them because it was an advance purchase. I explained to them that was not the information I was told when making the reservations. The other parties had given their credit cards when they checked in thinking the charges were going to their own cards. However, they were not told that was only for incidentals. The front staff at the Holiday Inn Fairborn said there was NOTHING they could at this point. Just kept saying it was an advance purchase and nothing could be done.
No SORRY for the misrepresentation or anything.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by vivette reservation mix-up by hotel/initially unhelpful attitude by staff.
Had reservation through a group function, but didn't get appropriate rate.Contacted manager before stay to fix problem. Assured all was well and was sent confirmation of room/dates/rates. After a long travel day my husband, arriving before me, checked in.Told no reservation for that evening, though rest of stay was still confirmed. No rooms available-hotel was full. Reservationist was not apologetic, acting as though we were at fault., though later found it was hotel's fault. After some time a room was finally found, on ground floor (we had requested upper floor). Later when I arrived I thanked staff for finding room, but said we were assured a quiet upper floor room. Staff person later more accommodating and found another room, though said it was difficult to do.The staff is trained to be friendly-which they are, but not always helpful beyond the minimum. The room was standard, fine and clean- nice to have white linens on bed. The rooms at Holiday Inns could be so easily improved with better, brighter lighting, particularly in the bathrooms, but all in all, ok for the rate, just not a place I'd stay in again. Hotel restaurant: ambitious dinner menu doesn't deliver and overpriced. But nice servers. May want to simplify menu and execute better. Tried for a wake-up call 2 nights in a row. My fault for calling after 10pm, I guess, because tried several times first night before someone answered. Next night never did get an answer, after trying numerous times. Probably understaffed -so frequently the staff gets blamed when there are simply too few people to handle the needs/demands of many guests. Didn't need cleaning service every day, but good work and friendliness by cleaning staff when needed.
