Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Thank you for the honesty of your staff After a long day moving our youngest to college we stopped to rest. The next morning as we left we must have still been tired as we left two items. One, an insignificant sweatshirt. The other, my husband billfold. We are so grateful the housekeeping staff promptly found the billfold and we were notified. As we were already on our way, the staff overnighted the items to us with everything in the billfold completely undisturbed. Thank you! August 19, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty, dark room Carpet was so dirty our feet left muddy footprint on the shower tub floor. Socks were dirty, also. Room was so dark as to be depressing. Heating and cooling did not work proberly. Hotel, though recently renovated, still shows its age. July 31, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Ever This was one of the worst hotel stays ever. This particular hotel has been my choice in the area, primarily because of the restaurant attached. On check in I was not offered my bottle of water as is the custom due to my status. In fact, my status was not even mentioned. My room (124) was situated at the end of the doorway into the pool area. There was child noise from the pool area until 11:30PM, following which the pool area was commandeered by adults who carried on until after 2:30AM. There was little chance of sleep. The room had no internet (Wifi) service. I find this completely unacceptable for a business traveler. Most shocking of all was what I found in the bathroom. There was unmistakable private hair in the sink! July 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A good stay! We spent 4 days in Fairmont for a wedding. We stayed at this Holiday Inn and had a very relaxing time. The Holiday Inn/Green Mill team was way above what I was expecting. EVERYONE was willing to help if we needed it. I have a disability and something are just a little bid harder. While unpacking our car a young man from the GreenMill came over an offered to assist us. When talking to him, he said there training emphasizes customer first. With all the traveling we do, we would have to say this is not high on the training chart. Being Platinum Ambassador members, we were offered an upgrade in our room and this was very nice. We normally get the suite and being upgraded to the jacuzzi was a total plus for me to relax out of my scooter. July 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service! I chose the Holiday Inn, Fairmont because I wanted to throw my husband a surprise birthday party. The event staff were extremely helpful in helping me coordinate my event. The set up of the event itself was perfect. Our bartender was super friendly and helpful. My husband had a wonderful birthday, and I would like to thank the Holiday Inn, Fairmont for helping provide that. Our room was nice. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet. When walking by the swimming pool in the morning it looked like the families there were having a great time. We had breakfast at the Green Mill restaurant. There were many options for their Sunday Brunch. Our server was very pleasant. The food was very good, as the Green Mill restaurant's food usually is. I would recommend this hotel to anyone - from a family, to a couple, to a single traveller. It's a very nice, comfortable place to stay. July 16, 2014
