Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff and Great Room We stopped through on our way from Dallas to Chicago. The staff was excellent and gave us a bigger room to make sure we were all comfortable after we asked to add a cot to our room. The room was large and clean! Internet worked great! We downloaded a movie and had no trouble with the viewing. The room was very clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was great and the waiter was very friendly. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not as good this time. Had some poor service for by room service. Food was cold, and took too long to be delivered.. When contacted management, they bent over backwards to make good on what was wrong, but with better quality control up front, there is no need for management to make good. I will stay there again, however. February 12, 2013

We would choose Holiday Inn because it was very clean, comfortable, beautiful entrance, nice pool, and beautiful, comfortable room. We enjoyed our stay. January 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay! I arrived very late due a plane delay, but the front desk was very friendly and addressed any concerns I had promptly and with a smile. The room was very clean and quiet so I could sleep well (which I direly needed because of my late arrival). Complimentary coffee and donuts in the morning were perfect. I am only disappointed I couldn't stay longer and enjoy more of the facilities. I recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area. December 2, 2012

Most recently, had a 3 day reservation and due to a death in the family, we had to continually extend day by day for a total of 6 days. We did not inform the staff about our loss but when we arrived one evening, they were aware and expressed their condolences. It was like being with extended family. We will continue to stay at this hotel and continue to recommend to friends and family when staying in the IL/St. Louis area. OUTSTANDING! December 1, 2012

I must say we were not happy about having to cut our day short because of the car issues, but the staff immediately put me in a better mood. They were very friendly. The hotel lobby was beautiful and the room was in excellent condition. They turned a bad experience into a fantastic over night stay!! December 1, 2012

My husband and I had our own room and our daughter had the sleeper sofa and her own TV in the other room. Very room and comfortable. November 30, 2012

The Bar stays open even if there are only a few patrons until designated closing. The management is top notch and "Kat" is Awesome! I will be staying at this facility any time I am in Southern Illinois. October 18, 2012
