We visited this hotel during the off-season to check out what the Cape Cod experience prior to all the crowds. The hotel was busy, full the night before, but was pleasant in providing early check-in.
I did have an issue with the restaurant not being on the same page as the hotel on how to implement "Kids Eat Free". The AGM at the front desk reduced my final bill to accommodate. They need better signage and information for breakfast and any limitation.

The hotel and its staff impressed. I felt that the IHG has a good property in Falmouth that is well managed. There are some minor criticisms contained in my full review but, on balance, this property exceeds expectations for a Holiday Inn.

Hotel is dated and needs some updates. Rooms have a funny smell and the A/C is sporadic. The breakfast buffet is not worth the $17 dollars, go around the corner to Betsy's for a good mom and pop diner.

Beds and pillows are always good at Holiday Inn. this hotel was quiet at this time of year and I was looking to not do anything...rest only. Hotel could use an elevator for ease of transferring luggage, but not a huge issue. basic food in the restaurant, not a lot of choices but prepared OK.

I have stayed at this facility three times and I have always had an excellent stay. The pool and fitness center are very nice and the staff is fantastic.

Room was modern and clean. Smelled as though it was previously a "smoking" room .Also, although it was March in Cape Cod and very few guests staying overnight, we had to wait until 3pm to check into the room? This was inconvenient. Arrived early for hotel business meeting scheduled for 3:30pm. Room not ready. Came back at 2:50pm and room was still not ready. Moved at this point to an available room.

Other than the location and friendly staff, the hotel was below par. The room and bathroom were clean, however there was no fan in the bathroom and the shower curtain didn't cover the entire shower properly so the water was all over the bathroom floor. The beds were uncomfortable and seemed rather old. I wish there was a light switch closer to the bed for the reading light, but I had to get up to reach it to shut that off. I can see that the hotel had some updates but for the most part, it still looked outdated. The pool was nice, however we saw drops of blood on the pool deck. It looked very recent so I wouldn't hold that against the staff for not being cleaned up yet. Also the hallway out room was in had a terrible marijuana smell constantly in it. The only reason I would stay at this hotel again is for its location and friendly staff.
