Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms need updating Whilst my room was reasonably clean, it was very dated and suffering from wear and tear. There were 2 armchairs in the room, both completely different colours, and of totally different designs. I was reluctant to sit on either as they both looked as though they had been found in a rubbish skip and were stained and dirty I wouldn't give it more than 3 stars out of 5, despite what this customer survey software concocts! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Unusually poor service I have stayed here a lot and usually it is a great value place to stay but the past week has been poor. The only negative was the service. It was the usual people who are often very good but this week I have had to wait several times to be seated and had to wait for 15 minutes for breakfast because they hadn't cleared tables which meant I ran out of time. Evening service was equally bad as the guy spent more time laughing and joking in the kitchen (which could be heard in the restaurant) than outside looking after his guests Reception were great and sorted out my future booking really quickly February 2, 2016
