Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty room Our Non smoking room reeked of smoke. There was trash on the floor next to one of the beds. The shower was dirty and had what looked like blood in the basin. An open packet of trail mix was laying on the pull out couch. The top of the Entertainment stand was dirty and had trash sitting on it. Overall the most unclean room I have ever stayed in. We were extremely disappointed and will never stay at this location again. October 5, 2015

They upgraded us to the Ambassador Suite, great room, but for that type of room I suppose there are certain things you would expect. Example, I don't want to look up while in the shower to see the air vent COMPLETELY covered in dust, nor do I want to see mold directly in front of me on the wall. The housekeeping needs a little more training in my opinion. My wife use to come and stay here before we were married to visit her son. She also used to work at a IHG brand for 7yrs and 3 of them she was the Front Desk manager. Sometimes you can overlook things and that's why we didn't complain. Paulo was just the best, he really took care of us and housekeeping did what we asked. We will stay again, nice area, nice staff, nice hotel, the bathroom is MY ONLY COMPLAINT. I hope that this does Not get the hotel in trouble nor discourage anyone from that room. Just pay a little more attention to DETAIL. Thank you September 30, 2015

The location was EXCELLENT, the staff was friendly, the room overall was extremely comfortable. I also appreciated the temperature of the water in the shower and the shower pressure. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Pleasant Suprise We came in late after travel delays and the front desk clerk was one of the nicest people I have met. She was quick efficient and kind. {b/} The hotel staff in general were some of the nicest people I have ever run across in my travels and always had a smile and asked if there was anything I needed. {b/} The breakfast bar was not included in my room fee since I was using points to stay. And I felt that for what I paid, I could find better value elsewhere. (There is an amazing little breakfast place down the street called The Wicked Table). With that said, the wait staff were still kind and accommodating. {b/} The room was clean and nice. I wish they would offer lamps with plugs at the base. While they did have a bedside alarm clock, most of us now use our phones. Having an easily accessible port to charge a tablet or a phone is a must. {b} The overall hotel just had a nice feel and I liked my stay there. {b} There only detractor is the coffee. If you are a coffee lover, then do not use the in-room coffee maker. the coffee in the lobby was decent, but the in room coffee was some of the worst I have had. {b} Overall, I would stay at this location again and probably will. I did have to request for someone to clean my bathroom tub upon arrival due to it being dirty and having some hair in it; which was gross. The staff did come up immediately to fix the problem. Then the tv in the bedroom wasn't working properly and I had to ask twice for someone to come fix it. Also the whirlpool was not working properly and was dirty. I originally booked this hotel because it was a Holiday Inn and had a whirlpool on the facility. I gave the hotel a overall good score because they did have fairly clean rooms that were spacious, incorporated a pull out sofa, and was secure. I would like to return to the hotel, but they will absolutely need to hone in on their housekeeping and make sure that all their amenities are functioning properly at all times to inform patrons at time of booking.
