Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't let the nice lobby trick you! The front of the hotel and the lobby make this hotel look like it was recently renovated and modern. Unfortunately, that is the only nice part of this hotel. Negatives: The rooms are basically in separate buildings behind the lobby and they are very outdated (or neglected in upkeep). When I got on the elevator the display board was all broken and there were dents and dings all over the walls. The carpet in the room was stained, the dresser drawer was broken, the desk drawer was broken, and there was dust all of the top of the dresser and desk. In the hallways the employees left bags of trash and they would remain there overnight. There are also parking spots on the sides of the buildings that are never cleaned, the trashcan was always overflowing and there were cigarette butts everywhere. Positives: The bed was nice and comfortable. Overall I should have never booked this hotel before reading over the reviews. If you read them it is like a broken record of issues and the manager replying saying they are working on the problems. Sorry to report, but the problems are just being neglected. August 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shuttle Service is the BEST The hotel is probably one of the nicest Hotel Inn's I've stayed in and I utilize this chain of hotels for both business and leisure trips. The entire hotel was up to date and just very lovely. But for me the best part of staying in this hotel was the hospitality that was shown to me by the two gentlemen who ran the shuttle service. They were willing to drop me off/pick me up at any of the local restaurants, even offering suggestions along the way. One of them gave me a tour of the hotel when I inquired whether the hotel had an ATM. The room was decorated quite tastefully, however I was disappointed in the lack of an alarm clock or electrical outlets. The only other disappointment for me was that the room was not ready until 2 hours after check in. August 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service The Hotel was clean and the room was clean. The view was not so good, had a view of the parking lot but for a lesser cost in price, that's what I got. The bed was too firm. Overall the service was excellent and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was the best part, good food and good service. I will stay there again and also recommend it. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is centrally located to restaurants and shopping with in 0.5 miles to 5 miles. I would recommend this hotel. August 5, 2014

When we arrived at our first room, the beds had been slept in, the room had garbage in the cans, there were dirty towels in the bathroom. they gave us an uncleaned room. When I returned to ask for another room, they were accommodating. From the sounds of the front desk staff, this was not an uncommon occurrence. We were given our second room. The bathroom sink was clogged, the toilet ran all night, and although the beds were made and there were clean towels in the bathroom, it was not a clean room at all. the night stands, table, and everything else had a layer of dust on them. I cancelled our next night reservation. The front desk never asked if there was a problem or why we were checking out early. Holiday Inn will never get a penny off of me again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AWSOME over all experience! My girlfriend and I attended a two day Christian womens conference. We decided to make a "Girlfriends Nite" of it. When I called to book the room, I registered too late to receive the conference special. The desk clerk asked if I were military or had AAA. When I replied that I had AAA she gave me their discount, which happened to be the same as the confernce special. When we arrived the hotel's lobby was very clean and inviting. The staff was exceptional. They were very friendly and even had our room ready early and allowed us to check in at noon! Our room was located on the first floor so we had to park under a parking deck. When we went into our room it was very dark as the window was under the parking deck also! EXACTLY what we wanted! A nice dark room for a peaceful nights sleep. The room was nicly decorated, the bathroom was BEAUTIFUL! (loved the garden tub) and the beds were VERY confortable! We were up early the next morn to complete our conference. Around 10 am my girlfriend developed a headache and went back to the room to lay down. The custodians were just about to clean our room. When my friend told them she needed to lay down they assured her that was ok, that we had the room untdil 11am anyway, that they would come back later and wished her well. She even had lost her purse the day prior while outside smoking. One of the groundsmen found it on a bench outside and turned it in to the front desk. Everything was in its placed in her purse. What HONEST employees! So from the groundsmen on up, we had an EXCELLENT stay! We will be back! (The only negative thing I would report is that the tile inside the pool was very dirty, stained I guess from the dust July 31, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Customer No-Service The front desk staff was very friendly when checking in, but when I called them on 3 occasions about issues in the room, they were very rude to me. When asked to speak with a manager, I was told there was no manager on duty on weekends. I was told the manager only work monday thru friday. What about the weekends, who do you report problems to on the weekends? The room was not clean at all, it was very dusty and the chairs in the room needed to be wiped down. July 30, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not an enjoyable stay The other guest of the hotel were extremely loud and obnoxious. It was very evident the guess were not asked to keep the noise down because it continued late into the early morning. Several women were dress very provocatively and I was embarrassed to be around them with my children. Hotel guests were seen shooting fireworks in the parking lot and out by the pool and nothing was done to stop this behavior. I do not feel good about returning to this property and would not recommend it to others. July 30, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Far from the best Holiday Inn The majority of the staff was outstanding, they were friendly and greeted all the guests every time one entered their area, The hotel is "old and tired." There were visible gaps around the door to the outside, the AC couldn't keep up with the moisture entering the room, and the batteries for the TV remote were dead. I had a medical emergency arise and needed to depart after noon but before 3. Called the desk and explained the situation. I was forwarded to the "Customer Service" lead. Go his voice mail box, left contact information, but was never contacted. Even if they couldn't refund my second day's stay, a phone call would have been appropriate. July 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by May want to choose a different location The breakfast was not edible. The room never got hot water due to a faulty spicket that the hotel staff came to fix twice. The water never stopped flowing. It did not just drip, it flowed. The staff was also unable to fix that problem. The rooms were quite noisy from the hallway if anyone spoke. We have stayed in a number of Holiday Inns that were quite nice, but, disappointedly, this was definitely not one of them. July 11, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed WE stayed at the Holiday Inn, in Fayetteville, for the reunion on the 173rd Airborne. considering the number of people trying to check it, it was very chaotic. We waited several hours before we were able to check in. We had reservations for a King size bed, but had to settle for 2 doubles. Obviously it was over booked. The staff were very courteous & tried their best to get everyone checked in, I felt sorry for them and I feel there should have been more staff on hand for such a large group of people. The cleaning staff were very nice & courteous, but they were also understaffed. July 7, 2014

The other property was at 100% capacity the day I was there so if you like the Holiday Inn brand and are in the area then book ahead of time at that property. This property is run down and may be in the middle of a remodel. The lobby area and interior hallways were nice, but the grounds, exterior, and exterior hallways were in disrepair and dirty. My room was pretty nice, but has a bad smell. The breakfast was also just ok because there was only buffet with minimal choices. June 30, 2014

When we arrived not only were our rooms not ready, we were also told that we probably could NOT have rooms together. After waiting several hours for our rooms, they put two of us on the same floor (way down the hall from each other) with the third couple in a completely different building! In addition we had booked King bed rooms and actually got rooms with two double beds instead! The hotel lobby & common area was very nice - the building the rooms were located in was musty and old. The parking area had caution tape around half of it and was very dark - a little scary! However, the staff were exceptionally nice - never encountered a staff member who didnt speak to us. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall good stay. This was my first visit to this property. The lobby and vendor area was convenient for meeting and the front desk staff were courteous and helpful. The bartender at the lobby bar was very helpful particurlarily with getting food orders from the kitchen quickly. Whoever was handling the food ordering and service at our hospitality room fell victim to the 4 p's. Not enough food to go around and not in a timely manner. I did not use the hospitality room, but I heard many negative comments about the poor service. I stayed in a fifth floor room, king bed, non-smoking, pool side view. The room was clean and large, however there were no room darkening drapes to block out light or noise. The microwave and refrigerator were very convenient. There were two elevators in this wing, one was extremely slow, the other was satisfactory. I found using the fire stairs to be quicker. The covered parking area for this wing needs much repair work. Half of the parking spaces were cordened off because of falling debris from the ceiling. The hot breakfast was very good with plenty of food and the wait staff was very accommodating and friendly. There were plenty of areas either pool side or inside on the ground level for relaxation and gathering together. June 26, 2014
