Took me over 30 minutes to check in, this was due to the hotel being busy, and lack of staff working the front desk. It was my good fortune to get the staffer who was in training. She was unable to process my credit card and work the room key encoder. I find this unacceptable because I made an online reservation and all they had to do was hand me my key.
After a ride in the scary 1970's elevator, I got to my room only to find the door ajar. Clean, but was a connecting room with thin walls that let me hear everything going on in the room next to me. Beds / Pillows were uncomfortable. Toilet leaked and would kick in to fill up every 30 minutes. Ice machine was on the 1st floor, so more rides on the scary elevator. I couldn't get out fast enough, and won't be back.

Good location, ample parking, clean room, comfortable bed. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave. But, when I couldn't sign back on to the internet after being absent for the day, I tried calling front desk. Room phone was dead so I walked down to front desk. I was told internet was working, it must be my computer (which had worked fine that morning), but I could call the tech support number on the "tent card" next to my phone. I explained I would if they could get the phone working. Technician came to room and determined the line was good, but instead of replacing phone, proceeded to check the line behind the bed that didn't even have a phone. I had already explained that I needed to call tech support but couldn't find tent card anywhere in the room. He returned with a new phone, it worked, but then had to leave and return again to bring me the tent card. Although the phone issue was resolved quickly (about 30 minutes), I would have expected it to have been reported by a previous guest. Tech Support reset the modem for my area of hotel and internet access was back. Their contract Tech Support service was excellent. Toilet required two flushes to dispose of solid material (like toilet paper), something of which I had little. I would expect a new roll of TP to show up with daily housekeeping when the existing roll is lower than half. I would have expected housekeeping to recognize and report toilet flushing issue during normal cleaning. Only one tiny bar of facial soap that had to be moved from shower to sink. It was not replaced with a new tiny facial bar when room was cleaned. Key card lock for my most convenient building entry door did not work, requiring a walk in the dark parking area to the next entrance. All-in-all, this property seems poorly maintained.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Amysue Nice but needs some attention
Nice surroundings and amenities. Clean and welcoming. The lobby bar is way too high to be comfortable when sitting at it. The breakfast buffet in the Bordeaux Cafe was excellent and included in our room rate. The regular restaurant was closed and a limited menu was being served in the Bordeaux Cafe and a banquet room.
Bar opens at 5:00 pm, and coffee bar is no longer in operation. Our large King room had an obviously empty corner where a table and chairs could have fit nicely. Great bed and comfortable bedding. Wonderful shower but bathroom small. Internet great and large TV with flat screen was nice. Very friendly accommodating staff. Location very convenient to Crown Center, Army Paratrooper Museum and many restaurants. A little tricky on the access to the parking area. This is an older hotel that has been remodeled and some areas show the age of the building.

We have stayed in many of your hotels, this by far was the worst. The keys for the rooms ( By computer system) was down from Friday thru our stay to Sunday. every time we needed entrance we to find are wait for someone to assist, your hotel is in need to of an upgrade ASAP. The room smelled and the carpets (Hall and Room) are dirty. We where told by a desk clerk very pointly that there are other hotels down the street but once we asked for the manager she did it for half price. We where accustomed to your hotels to always being nice and comfortable and enjoyable, this was not. We had function on your property so it was not convenient to be elsewhere ( Another Hotel), please look into this property to make changes for the better, thanks.

Upon check-in, were told key coder did not work, so we had to be escorted to our room every time we needed to use our room, during all our weekend stay. Never were asked to provide identification to prove it was our room. Did not feel safe.

we were there for our son's wedding, and there were no room keys if you checked in on Thursday, Friday , or Saturday. To get into your room you had to go to the front desk to have someone let you into the room. This was a major pain in the butt, on top of this sometimes they didn't check to make sure you were trying to get into the correct room, they would open the door without checking any identification. We were supposed to get a discount for our rooms, but I have yet to receive an e-mail confirming the discount, I have one for the original charge but not one for the discount.

The carpet was dirty and had stains on it. The room walls, floors, and ceiling were old but the decor looked upgraded. There was only one elevator for the wing I was on. The main door though closed did not seem secure. The toilet would not flush unless you held the handle down until it flushed. The building structure seemed old but the decor seemed updated which really is just putting a band-aid over the problem.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 The worst hotel I have ever been to
Sorry to say, but this was the worst experience with hotels I have ever had in my life. Entire group Holiday INN will be cancelled from my shorlist of potential hotels to stay- because management lets this fenomenon yet to exist.
Your hotel is a shame- no room keys, all dirty ((corridors, elevators, rooms, shimming pool (!!!)). Moreover, the room was stinking inside. During the night you cannot rest due to alkoholics brawls in the corridors...
NEVER EVER AGAIN.

With a name such as "Holiday Inn" I expected my room to be cleaned everyday. But on arrival I had to call the front desk because it I could see dust on the furniture. My room was not cleaned nor was the carpet on the floor clean. The carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. The room was not vacuumed everyday and it appear the bathroom was not cleaned as well. Clean towels were left but that's all. Coffee cups were not left everyday when it was obvious that cups were needed since the first cups had been used. My stay was not what I expected at all. I don't intend to stay at this particular facility if I can help it.

Walking into the lobby you think you are going to have a good visit. Very updated and nice looking. But then you have to check in. Personal skills of desk staff were horrible ... rude, didn't pay attention to those in line and just let other walking up jump in front of those patiently ready. Needless to say - they did not even understand the concept of customer service. Two or three large groups were there that weekend and they were unprepared to check in a crowd.
Then the room, at first glance it wasn't bad. But then the age showed in the bathroom, and carpet. The cieling had places peeling. Also, the AC unit couldn't properly chill or dehumidify the room.. and we felt "sticky" all weekend. And it wasn't just one room. As part of a convention, I was in several and they were all the same.
The little details around the hotel were also poor, trim was missing in elevators. Banquet rooms had patches on wall and dividers (and the dividers didn't stop noise coming through from the next room). The hallways and around the elevators were HOT. And elevators were slow - it was faster to take the steps even up to the 4th floor.
Banquet food was plated food was luke warm and banquet staff was hard to communicate with. One of our group had clearly displayed the provided allergy card. Server didn't understand what it was for... and the guy was given two incorrect plates. And finally was informed it was the correct plate and in the first bite knew it contained the wrong food group. This just was a low blow for everyone at the table and no one could enjoy themselves worried about him.
The only positive was checkout. We were running behind and the request to extend check out was pleasantly accepted. That was the first and only staff person who demonstrated good customer interaction.

I chose this hotel because this is venue my daughter chose for her wedding reception. I booked three rooms, one of which I used for five nights and the other two were used for two nights. My room was in need of renovation. The carpet was worn and the entrance door had to be slammed to close it. The room that I rented for my mother had a serious leak coming from under the toilet. The maintenance personnel came in there three times and tried putting caulk around the base and mopping the water up. After the third time of going to the front desk and calling for maintenance, she was moved into another room.
On my first two days of stay, my room did not get serviced (cleaned) until after 3PM. On the third day I call the front desk around 2 PM to let them know that my room had not been serviced and I had to wait until after 3 PM the two days prior. They told me someone would be there soon. Around 6 PM I ran into a housekeeping supervisor and informed her that my room had not been serviced. She told me that she would personally take care of it within 30 minutes. I also informed the front desk. Around 8:30 PM someone came and dropped off clean towels but did not clean the room. My wife went to the front desk and told them that we never received room service and that someone just came by at 8:30 pm and dropped off towels. We received this kind of service our entire stay.
I am a Platinum Priority Club member and did not receive ant recognition. I went to the front desk on the third day to check-in for my other two rooms and told the customer service representative that I did not receive any recognition and asked for my complementary room upgrade for the two additional rooms that I was checking into. The representative told me there were no upgrade room in their hotel and she would personally bring my gift basket to my room for being a Platinum Priority Club member. I never received the gift basket. I informed them of this when I went to check-out and was offered a bottle of water.
I will never stay here again and will write to the Priority Club to let them know about my experience.

Reserved a room in advance for two nights. Arrived and was told I had only one night with the hotel booked for the second night. Had a state civic group meeting here for that weekend for one of two annual meetings we hold and had obligations for same. Managed to convince a clerk that it was imperative that my reservation be honored and finally they did - by, it seems, bumping some other poor soul from their reservation the following evening. My refrigerator was unplugged - something I did not discover until the following morning when my refrigerated groceries and medical supplies for the weekend were compromised beyond recover. Was told they did that for deep clean , but it should have been plugged back in. I got a $30 credit to replace my meds. Air conditioning also failed and they were unable to correct. I was ultimately given another room in the wee hours of my last night's stay to sleep comfortably. I was comped one evening's stay. Were told the bar and restaurant were shut down due to refrigeration issues yet the banquet activities were functional? We do not recomend this property for group or individual stay and we would not stay here again - if not forced to.

This property appears to be a party property. If you like noise, laughing, screaming, doors banging and general partying until 3:00 AM, this hotel is for you! A party in every room and corridor!
If you smoke... don"t be concerned! go out on the veranda and toss your cigarette/cigar butts and what ever else you might be toking on, onto the roof of my car...It's an easy target from the 4th, 5th and 6th floors!

I stayed for one night in a King size bedroom and the room was good (big, spacious and Clean). The bathroom was good too with a Jacuzzi style big bath tub. Overall the stay experience was good, more because they have a 24 hr shuttle service from the regional airport of Fayetteville and its pretty close by to mall area of the city. Walgreens just across the road.
The only scary thing that happened with me was, I had readched early to the hotel (much before the time of actual checkin) and even though the person on front desk gave me the room early but she mistakenly gave a room key for a room that wasnt yet checked out! So I went there & opened the door to see a couple standing just in front... I immediately came back running and asked for different room.

We've stayed at this property anytime we've visited relatives living in Fayetteville. The lobby has been redone and looks great and the staff were very friendly and courteous.
The rooms are very outdated, dirty and in need of an overhaul. My children's feet were filthy from walking barefoot on the carpets and the room was dusty and the tub had grit at the bottom that resembled sand.
The staff definitely made up for the disappointing room.

There were no handicap parking spaces near any of the elevators. The rooms were located on various which required the use of a very unresponsive elevator.
The lack of closet space was appalling. A single garment rack for four people is unsatisfactory.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by rpboz Disappointing all the way around
There are two front doors, if you walk in the wrong one you will have to go completely around the bottom floor to find the front desk and there is no staff anywhere to point you in the right direction. Once I thought I found the front desk, I asked if this is where I checked in and now had no clue where my car was. They were rude and inattentive. I felt like an imposition. Not to mention it was extremely hot int here. I was dripping sweat (I am not a sweater and am not menopausal). All the halls and elevators were extremely hot and the ice machines did not work. Not a good thing during a 90+ degree weekend.
The room was a nice size, the beds were ok, not super comfortable but the pillows were good. The carpet was dirty.
In addition to all this, I was part of group we had rooms we were using for the weekend and there was one problem after another. During the banquet, they took up the ($800.00) tray of cookies before the evening was over and before most people had gotten up to get theirs. When this was mentioned and asked to bring back the left overs, the employees had put most of them in napkins and stashed them who knows where. Our of a half tray of cookies, they brought back a plate. Very disappointing.
I took my things out of the room because I wasn't sure if I was leaving or staying until the last day. They checked me out even though we had the room through Sunday. When the girl in charge called them and said I was staying, they said for me to come back and they would swipe my key card so I could get back into the room. When I tried to do that, they had no clue who I was or what I was talking about. 3 employees acted like I was an idiot. I called the girl in charge, she came down (this was after 10:00 (pm) and immediately they were all oh, yes we remember; oh, here you are blah blah blah... I would never go back there on purpose.

We stayed here around 2010 or 2011 and were not greatly impressed. The recent renovations to the facilities have helped tremendously and we LOVE the VERY LARGE POOL with a deep end! It was a great place to have our grandchildren play. Breakfast was included (nice buffet, not donuts!) and the staff was obviously very well-trained to go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. This hotel hasn't always gotten good ratings online, but I will tell you we thought it was terrific and for the price, OUTSTANDING!
