Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bwms Old property that needs to be totally redesigned
I travel alot for business & have recently returned to staying at Holiday Inn properties. I'm glad this was not my 1st experience with Holiday Inn cause it would probably have been my last. The layout of the rooms is not very user friendly. There is little to no signage to help you find your way around. My room smelled like old cigarette smoke from many years past. The coffee pot didn't work, the outlet in the bathroom had a shortage so my curling iron wouldn't get hot. Towels were thread bare. Whole experience made it impossible to unwind & relax which is what we are all looking to do after a day on the road. This hotel needs some help.

Stayed there with my family (2 kids) and the suite was perfect with the pull out sofa and a roll away cot. The housekeeping staff was also very sweet and accomadationg, getting us extra towels and sheets. Kids loved the indoor pool also!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ESagman COMFORTABLE, EASY TO REACH FROM I-95, GREAT FOOD
My husband and I travel alot. Recently we stayed at the Holiday Inn I-95. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The room was very comfortable and large. We stayed in the King n/s suite. If you sign up for their rewards program, a free breakfast is included. The breakfast was the best we've ever had in a hotel claiming "free breakfast" which usually serves cold pastries and cereal. The breakfast offered at this hotel was a FULL HOT MEAL breakfast. We drove away feeling like we'd had a great full meal that would get us to the next stop. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. We will definitely stay here again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by moptzi Another bad experience.
I thought this was going to be a good experience. Check in was smooth and efficient. The room was clean. The lounge, however, though empty took 30 minutes to get a bowl of soup to go. The soup was luke warm and got a styrofoam cup only half full for $4.00! All that could have been overlooked however, the phone in the room rang at 4:30 AM and again at 6:00 AM. Needless to say there was no sleep for us. Breakfast was another disaster. I've stayed at many Holiday Inns and it seems none of them can get a meal as simple as breakfast right. Slimy cold scrambled eggs, an omelette station with no one there and link sausage so overcooked couldn't even cut it. Fruit wasn't ripe, hard as a rock. When I told the front desk about the two phone calls was told they were most likely wake up calls for another room. Really???? No kidding!!! Unacceptable. I have been staying at Holiday Inn for years and the last two experiences have made me rethink the chain. I've always had good experiences and don't know what has happened.

This hotel is run down and in need of new...
The room service staff has a thing about cleaning up. For the entire stay, 3days, I had to ask for my coffee to be replunished and also the coffee cups (I was nin a Suit) were not cleaned out or at least replaced? The hotels Front desk were aces and dealt well with everything, and even seemed at time embarresed by the situation. After asking 2 times about the issue I stopped asking and learned to expect the NON service.
I will never stay there again, nor recomend anyone going in that area to stay there. There are many choices and This is not one of them. I would normally be in this area 4 weeks a year but not here!

We recently stayed here on our way home to Massachusetts from Florida. We had been on the road all day, and when we decided to stop we called to make a reservation 30 minutes before our arrival. My experience with reservations was pleasant. Upon check in, the hotel staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating. We checked in at 9pm and I was pleased the indoor pool was open until 11pm. My husband and our two children ages 7 and 3 enjoyed the indoor pool, which was great after a long day on the road. In the morning, we enjoyed the priority club buffet in the hotel restaurant. A nice feature at this location was the made to order omelet/waffle station.
The feature that stood out the most for me at this particular Holiday Inn, was the friendly hotel staff. We were greeted by everyone we came in contact with. We experienced exceptional customer service at this location. I would stay at this location again for sure, as well as recommend it to my friends and family. Keep up the good work!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PATSY25 WONDERFUL WELCOME,WONDERFUL STAY
WE HAVE BEEN TRAVELING FROM NJ TO FL FOR 17 YEARS, ALWAYS STAYING AT A HOLIDAY INN/HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS. THE WELCOME WE RECEIVED THIS TIME WAS THE BEST ONE EVER! THE WELCOMING CLERK AND THE MANAGER GAVE ME A "HIGH PRIORITY CLUB" WELCOME INCLUDING 2 TICKETS FOR DRINKS AND 2 TICKETS FOR BREAKFAST IN THE DINING ROOM. WE ENJOYED BOTH! IT'S ACTUALLY THE FIRST TIME WE WENT TO THE BAR AND RELAXED AFTER A LONG DRIVE. IT MAY NOW BECOME A TRADITION. A GOLD STAR FOR THE MANAGER ON DUTY AT FAYETTEVILLE, NC ON JANUARY 9, 2013. THANKS FOR A GREAT STAY.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Aldown Will Stop Here Again and Again
Traveling for us is all about finding good places to stop with our dog while we are en route. We have been here twice on our way South and will stay again, depending on our route.
The staff are truly "dog friendly" and the dog friendly rooms we have stayed in are on the first floor, to the rear, and close to an exit door. There is kind of an open field at the rear of the building.
What more could a dog owner want?
The beds, as always, are very comfortable and the accommodations clean.
The breakfast buffet was delicious and reasonably priced.
We would have preferred one king sized bed to the two doubles we got. The room was not huge.

This Holiday Inn Express is one of the nicer places along the I-95 route. We use this place every January and April on our drive from NJ to Florida and back again. They treat the Priority Rewards customers well with nice amenities, i.e., free buffet breakfast. The rooms are clean and the beds are mostly comfortable. Shout out to Annette who was kind enough to mail my phone charger back to my house when I left it behind in my room.

This was a rest stop driving back from Orlando to New York. I was traveling with my 2 dogs as well. All-in-all .. not a bad property. I was not impressed with the room decor. A little depressing for my taste and could use a little upgrade. The beds were comfortable!

Very good, well maintained rooms, long beautiful well lit corridors, best vegetarian omelet that was well done, firm and not soggy.
Bed was fabulous, bath was spacious.
Check in staff did not recognize my priority club status. Perks were not provided during check in.
Other than that, best experience.
Keep it up.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ScottyAF Stay for the comfort, avoid the breakfast.
Stayed over the weekend, and opted to get the breakfast buffet for the mornings I was there. Only made that mistake once. Stood around for 10 minutes before someone actually came to the register and showed my family and I to a booth. The buffet looked promising, but was filled with completely overcooked food. The "fresh" fruit looked like it had been re-served from the past few days.
Overall, the hotel stay was nice, just avoid wasting any money on the buffet.

We stay here while going back and forth from NJ and Fla. It is a great choice. Nice staff and love the free breakfest. Quite frankly I do not know how the staff can be so friendly so early in the morning! Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, great breakfest, what more can you ask for? I am rest assured if a problem, it would be handled in a professional manner. So far in 5 yrs, no problems......

this was online as a pet friendly hotel so we booked on
online because we had a dog. upon arrival we were given a hard time due to the dog. we were repeatedly asked did we tell someone we had a pet when booking. We told them there was no one to tell when you book online. after harassing us about the situation we finally got a room. We were not even told how much it cost too have our dog until we got a bill in the morning. instead of helping us we got a hard time. I would not return to this hotel due to the rudeness of the service. Accommodations were adequate. When i tried to apply my Priority Club Members I was Told That it may not apply since we didn't book through the hotel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Marnette Driving Around in....Squares
On the busiest travel day of the year, December 22, we found ourselves crawling down I-95 South toward South Carolina from Baltimore after a very relaxing 7- night cruise to the Bahamas. After experiencing the interstate ‘accordion effect’ for 8 hours, we decided to call it a night.
We do not travel without hotel reservations. Ever. We belong to several loyalty programs but were driving blindly on this day. It was a first for me when I picked up a couple of coupon books at a rest stop. We’d seen these stacks of books hundreds of times. The rates were attractive: too attractive; further evidence that no guest pays the same rate for any given room. I was skeptical.
From among the coupon offers, the I-95 Holiday Inn in Fayetteville, NC appealed to me. The coupon catch: the rate is available for walk-ins only with limited availability at the coupon rate. There was no way we were going to pull off after a horrendous day on I-95 only to learn that there was no room at the inn…on the cheap.
I called. And I learned that there were 9 rooms available at the coupon rate. And, yes, I understood that I could not make a reservation and that I needed the coupon at check-in.
Uncharted territory. Coupon in hand, I entered the enormous lobby of this very large and spread out hotel. I was welcomed as a Priority Club member and was happy to learn that I could even earn points on the coupon rate. This benefit is important. The fine print on other hotel coupons clearly stated that loyalty points could not be applied. I stated my preferences for room type and was given a map to find the room. On my best day, I am directionally challenged; after this day, I was having difficulty finding my way to door #7, the quickest way to our room on the second floor of this two-story hotel. (There are 7 exterior entrance doors).
Oops. Room 2069 is an adjoining room. Which way back to the lobby? The hotel is lacking in directional signs for public areas and the halls are very long. Hector changed us to a non-adjoining room and we were ready to drive around in squares to door #5. The entrance door numbers are difficult to see at night: a single number on one side of the pillared overhang. Once settled, we were happy with the accommodations: microwave, refrigerator, soft lighting, Curtis Mathes flat screen TV and pleasant green and cream décor. The bathroom amenities were from Bath and Body. A full breakfast buffet
(a $9.95 value) including coffee, tea or soda was part of the room rate in the full-service restaurant. The breakfast voucher is not available on room service. Gratuities are not included. Hours are Mon-Fri: 6:30-10:30 a.m. and Sat-Sun: 7-11 a.m. We checked out before breakfast was available.
Baggage service is available with a 30- minute advance notice to the front desk. 13,000 square feet of meeting space is available. Groups from 10-250 can be accommodated in theater, classroom, u-shape and banquet style. There is a 24/7guest laundry on the first floor with supplies available. The Business Center is available 24/7 along with complimentary wireless access in the rooms. Pets are allowed in designated rooms for a $35 charge. The indoor pool is open from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. A separate fitness room is available in the pool area. For a hotel of this size, I was surprised to find only one ice machine on the first floor, a sentiment echoed by two employees who directed me to the vending area, another walk around in squares down to the first floor.
Would we stay here again? Yes, at the coupon rate. The hotel is easy on, easy off from I-95. I suggest ice machines on each floor and more directional signs be installed for easier navigation.

We always stop at this property as we travel up the 95 corridor . This was our 10th stay and looking forward to more. One exception was that the breakfast buffet was not as good as in the past. Biscuits were like hockey pucks and potatoes were cold.
