Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by anandc Best location, sleep comfort and fresh breakfast
Very good, well maintained rooms, long beautiful well lit corridors, best vegetarian omelet that was well done, firm and not soggy.
Bed was fabulous, bath was spacious.
Check in staff did not recognize my priority club status. Perks were not provided during check in.
Other than that, best experience.
Keep it up.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ScottyAF Stay for the comfort, avoid the breakfast.
Stayed over the weekend, and opted to get the breakfast buffet for the mornings I was there. Only made that mistake once. Stood around for 10 minutes before someone actually came to the register and showed my family and I to a booth. The buffet looked promising, but was filled with completely overcooked food. The "fresh" fruit looked like it had been re-served from the past few days.
Overall, the hotel stay was nice, just avoid wasting any money on the buffet.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by StikMan After long drive, very nice hotel stay
After driving some 12 hours with 3 kids, we were eager to get to a clean and quiet hotel. Easy check-in, comfortable beds but one of the vending machines stole a quarter from me.

We stay here while going back and forth from NJ and Fla. It is a great choice. Nice staff and love the free breakfest. Quite frankly I do not know how the staff can be so friendly so early in the morning! Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, great breakfest, what more can you ask for? I am rest assured if a problem, it would be handled in a professional manner. So far in 5 yrs, no problems......

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by pacman service was average
this was online as a pet friendly hotel so we booked on
online because we had a dog. upon arrival we were given a hard time due to the dog. we were repeatedly asked did we tell someone we had a pet when booking. We told them there was no one to tell when you book online. after harassing us about the situation we finally got a room. We were not even told how much it cost too have our dog until we got a bill in the morning. instead of helping us we got a hard time. I would not return to this hotel due to the rudeness of the service. Accommodations were adequate. When i tried to apply my Priority Club Members I was Told That it may not apply since we didn't book through the hotel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Marnette Driving Around in....Squares
On the busiest travel day of the year, December 22, we found ourselves crawling down I-95 South toward South Carolina from Baltimore after a very relaxing 7- night cruise to the Bahamas. After experiencing the interstate ‘accordion effect’ for 8 hours, we decided to call it a night.
We do not travel without hotel reservations. Ever. We belong to several loyalty programs but were driving blindly on this day. It was a first for me when I picked up a couple of coupon books at a rest stop. We’d seen these stacks of books hundreds of times. The rates were attractive: too attractive; further evidence that no guest pays the same rate for any given room. I was skeptical.
From among the coupon offers, the I-95 Holiday Inn in Fayetteville, NC appealed to me. The coupon catch: the rate is available for walk-ins only with limited availability at the coupon rate. There was no way we were going to pull off after a horrendous day on I-95 only to learn that there was no room at the inn…on the cheap.
I called. And I learned that there were 9 rooms available at the coupon rate. And, yes, I understood that I could not make a reservation and that I needed the coupon at check-in.
Uncharted territory. Coupon in hand, I entered the enormous lobby of this very large and spread out hotel. I was welcomed as a Priority Club member and was happy to learn that I could even earn points on the coupon rate. This benefit is important. The fine print on other hotel coupons clearly stated that loyalty points could not be applied. I stated my preferences for room type and was given a map to find the room. On my best day, I am directionally challenged; after this day, I was having difficulty finding my way to door #7, the quickest way to our room on the second floor of this two-story hotel. (There are 7 exterior entrance doors).
Oops. Room 2069 is an adjoining room. Which way back to the lobby? The hotel is lacking in directional signs for public areas and the halls are very long. Hector changed us to a non-adjoining room and we were ready to drive around in squares to door #5. The entrance door numbers are difficult to see at night: a single number on one side of the pillared overhang. Once settled, we were happy with the accommodations: microwave, refrigerator, soft lighting, Curtis Mathes flat screen TV and pleasant green and cream décor. The bathroom amenities were from Bath and Body. A full breakfast buffet
(a $9.95 value) including coffee, tea or soda was part of the room rate in the full-service restaurant. The breakfast voucher is not available on room service. Gratuities are not included. Hours are Mon-Fri: 6:30-10:30 a.m. and Sat-Sun: 7-11 a.m. We checked out before breakfast was available.
Baggage service is available with a 30- minute advance notice to the front desk. 13,000 square feet of meeting space is available. Groups from 10-250 can be accommodated in theater, classroom, u-shape and banquet style. There is a 24/7guest laundry on the first floor with supplies available. The Business Center is available 24/7 along with complimentary wireless access in the rooms. Pets are allowed in designated rooms for a $35 charge. The indoor pool is open from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. A separate fitness room is available in the pool area. For a hotel of this size, I was surprised to find only one ice machine on the first floor, a sentiment echoed by two employees who directed me to the vending area, another walk around in squares down to the first floor.
Would we stay here again? Yes, at the coupon rate. The hotel is easy on, easy off from I-95. I suggest ice machines on each floor and more directional signs be installed for easier navigation.

We always stop at this property as we travel up the 95 corridor . This was our 10th stay and looking forward to more. One exception was that the breakfast buffet was not as good as in the past. Biscuits were like hockey pucks and potatoes were cold.

The hotel itself is lovely and up to date; however, our room was not as clean as I would have liked. The shower hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests and the bathroom floor was not clean.

My husband and I travel between Florida and New Jersey several times a year, and when our schedule puts us near Fayetteville for an overnight, we always select this property. The staff is wonderful and accommodating, the beds are comfy, and the restaurant is fine.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JudyUSMC Clean & Comfortable - Part 2
Checked out of the 2 bed handicap room and did some shopping before the short return trip home. Husband had a reaction to the medication and became ill. No doubt in my mind where to go for another overnight stay.
Different crew at the front desk - everyone was simply wonderful and appreciated the situation. Got the same room as before. While getting him settled in for the evening a "Get Well" card was slipped under the door which was signed by many of the restaurant and desk associates. That kind gesture made him feel better. While he rested, I took the opportunity to enjoy my Priority Club perks and had a great dinner in the restaurant.
Later that evening we discovered we misplaced one of his meds and had probably left it in the room when we checked out that morning - sure enough housekeeping had it.
This could have been a miserable situation. But the entire staff (desk, restaurant and housekeeping) was so very supportive. Will be staying here again & again!

Rather than driving 2 1/2 hours home we stayed here after a hospital visit for a bad back. This is one of the few properties we've stayed at that actually has 2 beds in a handicap room which was a bonus ~ especially with the back problem.
Just off I95 and very clean and comfortable. Loved the buffet breakfast the next morning. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Wasn't really planning on staying that night and appreciated the toothbrush and paste.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Paulie2 Excellent place to stay with a dog.
We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express/I95 four times during our travels to and from Florida and have always found the accommodations and staff top notch. We have traveled with our two dogs (now one dog) and like having a ground floor room. The rooms (we have had three different ones) are always fresh and we have not been able to detect any dog/animal orders. Room service is great - food is good and service is fast and courteous. Our only complaint is the the ventilation system is quite noisy - either bring ear plugs or leave it turned off.

Our stay at this Holiday Inn was a great experience. The staff was very friendly at check-in and was able to answer questions about the area.
Breakfast was a delight. Saturday morning we were in and out in record time and Sunday they were very busy and the lady making the omlets never stopped smiling even with 10 people deep in line.
Rooms were clean and the noise level was very low even with the hotel being booked. They had a large party going on in the lobby and very well done.

We come back time after time as we travel up and down the east coast. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Also we find the rooms very quiet, no matter which one you are in. We also enjoy the breakfest, it is very good. The omelet makers create any choice of ingrediants and make a fine omelet, while being cheerful and friendly. You can not go wrong with choosing this HI, and the location right off of 95 is helpful as not to be riding around looking for your hotel. So we always have had here, a great stay!!

Have stayed here multiple times now as is very convenient for our travel between Fl. and NJ.
Staff has always been very professional, pleasant and helpful.
Room has always been clean and comfortable.
Comments for improvement & consideration;
Pillows although quite comfortable are not long enough. Would be
better to have regular length pillows than the short squat ones.
Flatware in the restaurant should be improved. They are quite
flimsy and show spots from the dishwasher.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bbs65 Not a good experience
We were there for a class reunion. We could not check in until 4 although check in was supposed to be at 3. The bed was not comfortable and the furnishings were worn. They definitely need updating. The food at the reunion was dry and tasteless. We were seated at a table for breakfast that had food all over the floor and a dirty napkin was left on the table. Two of the wait staff were arguing within hearing of the customers which made everyone very uncomfortable. Staff in general were not friendly.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by KayEye66 Great service, Room was subpar
The bathroom sink ran, the bathroom toilet did not look clean, the heater/air conditioner was so loud that it was impossible to watch television or go to sleep, and the door didn't close fully when slammed shut - so, it had to be checked constantly. But the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Veronica46 Stay only as a last resort
The check-in was extremely slow. There were 2 other people in front of me and my sister and 2 staff checking in and it took over 45 mins to be seen. I had reserved 2 suites and reserved with a credit card and they gave one of my rooms away and it had just reached check in time. Inside the room, there was a sliding glass door going to the outside and there were webs all in the top corner and it was just dirty. After coming from a family gathering, we went to the front desk to get linen for the sleeper sofa and were told by the desk clerk "I don't think we have anymore". It's a suite and they didn't have linen. Another guest came down for towels and he was told the same thing. The worst part of this desk clerk happened as we were sitting in the lobby; phone was just ringing off the hook, the same desk clerk let the phone ring while she sat and ate her burger. Yes, we could see her sitting in the back room just looking at the phone. Lobby was clean, but the rooms need attention. The full size beds are small; my sister is 5'9 and her feet were hanging off the bed. Good for a laugh not for comfort.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel with our pet. Room was clean and comfortable. Issues were a lounge chair with no cushion support, and a tv remote with a mind of its own. We will stay here again because of its location, but not on a Saturday night. Party noises kept us up until late, and we were next to an exit door.

I wasn't expecting much when I drove up to the hotel but was pleasantly surprised with the lobby, restaurant, room, and most importantly, the staff and the PC perks. Will definitely stay there again if they don't go nuts with their pricing. It will be my midpoint stay whenever I travel north to Jersey. I have stayed at quite a few HIs and HIEs; this one ranks as one of my top favorites.

We specifically stop at this Holiday Inn every year when we go south for the winter. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is pleasant. We always look forward to the breakfast in the morning before heading down the road. We were told the dining room would open at 6:30 a.m. We arrived at 6:40 and the wait staff was just setting up. We were told it would be a while before they opened and that the cook was just starting. We were very dissapointed and left.

Realized a week after my stay that I left my favorite ($160) jeans in my room:( I called house keeping and they pulled up my stay on their computer. They informed me that there was a note on my account that they found the jeans in my room AND a shirt that I didn't even realize I left. They put the items in the mail the same day! Can't even begin to explain how happy I am for their honesty. What a great staff!

Overall... hotel was horrendous! Initial interaction with reservation staff BAD. Arrived and was told to wait until after 3:00 for room availability. Not to get into...just to see if there was one open. Stayed one night..ate in restaurant in Lobby...was told "No Diet Coke" to have with my meal. (They could have walked to vending machine in Lobby and got one just to satisfy customer...NO they didn't).
The last insult was on rising to leave in morning....No Shower Curtain on Shower!!!!!!! Have stayed at many Holiday Inss this was a disgrace!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kaneki60 Wonderful Breakfast and service
I personnally chose this IHG hotel repeatedly. The service is excellent. The location iis excellent. The Decor is excellent. The staff is always excellent. The food is excellent. And when I do visit Fayetteville, I prepare myself for a let down if the hotel is overbooked. It is always swarming with family reunions, conferences, teams, etc. The most desired spot is my opinion. But the bed is back breaking. No matter how many timesI have stayed at this location or any other HOLIDAY..the bed just does not agree with my back. I really think there should be a variety of mattresses as an option for the guest.
Above all, I will continue to endure the pain and enjoy the IHG hotels.
