After making a reservation for an out of town wedding a month and a half prior, we arrive to find out that our King Jacuzzi Suite had been double booked, and given to someone else. We later found out that this was also the case with other family members. Staff made us feel as though this was an irrelevant mistake, and only made attempts to accommodate the problem after I became angry. They ended up putting us in a tiny room that was dirty and loud. After the incident, it took nearly two weeks and six phone calls to have the difference in our original deposit credited back to our credit card. April 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bad times made better When I came to check in I was not feeling well. My building, where I live, was receiving new roofing and I was trying to recover from surgery. Being forced out of my home due to the noise - to go to a hotel where I didn't know if I would be comfortable, be able to sleep, feel safe and relaxed - was not what I wanted to do. The front desk staff, when they heard of the tough times I was going through, made every effort to make me comfortable and went above and beyond! I really appreciated the front desk staff for all that they did to ensure my stay was perfect! April 14, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy airport access The reason my wife and I occasionally use this Holiday Inn is primarily because of its proximity to a very fine airport terminal for the city of Flint, Michigan. We appreciate being able to leave our car in the hotel parking lot for an extended period. If this were not available, we probably would look for another airport-hotel combination in another city. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay I reserved two rooms, one for myself and one for my daughter and two grandchildren. I always request a room away from the pool. I got my daughter's room on the first floor right by the pool to make it convenient to just walk out to the pool from their sliding door. Check in was easy. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The kids enjoyed the pool and exercise room and their free breakfasts at Porter's was a plus. The only negative is that the hotel needs updated. The hallways are dirty and dingy. The elevators were dirty. Everything looked worn. I've stayed here several times and have noticed a decline. The waitress who served us breakfast on 3/30 was great! April 4, 2015
