Close to New York, priced very competitively too.
We stay at a lot of Holiday Inn Express hotels and did miss the great free breakfasts.
This was not a short survey.

For the location of this Holiday Inn the price was right. It is very easy to get to the GW Bridge and New York City area.

This hotel is very good for its value. Clean and comfortable rooms. Free and sufficient parking. If you are trying to get into the city of NY, keep in mind the $13 toll fee at the GW bridge.

I have stayed in lots of IHG properties and holiday inn over the years but this has to be the worst customer service by far.
When i asked for shuttle to subway, they suggested to take bus instead due to lower cost. I insisted on shuttle(10 dollar per person which is on the higher side) since i was in a hurry. When i returned i took a bus instead from NY. the bus stop is opposite to holiday inn but we cannot cross the road since there is big divider in the middle. There was also another family with a kid in the stroller and we called the hotel to send the shuttle since it was late at night and it was not very safe to walk more than a mile to get to other side of the road. They refused saying that they cannot find the driver. We finally could catch a taxi(which seemed very rare late at night), just for crossing the road.
Even when i communicated about this to the manager, he was least bothered. He was not apologetic at all even when i said that the least they could do was tell when i took shuttle in the morning that when returning take taxi from the subway station/previous bus stop.
His behavior was as if he was doing us a big favour just by letting us stay there. Would never recommend this hotel to any one especially if they are staying here to travel to NY. It is better to spend a little bit more money and get one in NY itself.

This was a good place to stay if you are going to NYC. The rooms are less expensive and larger than in the city but still overpriced for what you got. The staff was very helpful as to the best way to get into the city, the bus stop was right out front. The shuttle picked us up in the evening as soon as we got back over the GWB and arrived in less than 10 min. Wouldn't recommend the restaurant for breakfast. The htg/clg unit was loud. They had fresh baked cookies in the lobby everyday which was a very nice touch

This hotel was much nicer than we expected. The rooms were great, with comfortable beds and stylish furnishings. Staff is exceptionally helpful and polite. The desk clerks were hilarious!! We'll definitely stay here again.

Laura -- front desk -- is a gem! she is the customer service agent a good company would kill for. The quality of the rooms -- furnishings, comfort of bed, h/vac -- very good. The shower is a disaster, very weak flow. Bathroom small, but serviceable.

I had a great Stay at the Holiday Inn, it was perfect for my needs,transportation was a little complicated without a personal car but other than that it was Perfect. Room was clean ,staff was great ,price was good I would definitely stay there again and I will next year when I do the race again, I was able to FedEx my bike to the hotel ; in my absence I was also able to leave it there to catch my flight back home thank you Laura and company you did an excellent job

I had enquired at reception for Hotel shuttle service to GWB Bus terminal and was informed that shuttle service is available and the same starts at 6 am in the morning. On 9th May morning At 6 am, I checked out with my family and taken the shuttle bus to GWB. After sitting in the Shuttle, the driver informed that we have to pay $10 since GWB Bus terminal is beyond 3 miles from Hotel and Shuttle service is free upto 3 miles only. After some time Driver asked us to pay $ 30 since we were 4 persons. He said that it is required to pay toll at GW Bridge. We were forced to pay $ 30 as we did not have any alternate arrangement and We had to catch train at 7.30 from Penn station.
This was really bad experience from shuttle service of a reputed hotel like Holiday Inn. Till date I never heard of Hotels charging money for shuttle services provided. There was no information about charges to be paid for shuttle.
This has really resulted in a very bad experience after having wonderful stay at hotel.

We arrived back from the ball game around 11:00 p.m., and decided to have a couple of drinks.
The bartender was somewhat friendly, but we felt that the staff wanted to clean-up and go home. We were told the bar was open till 11:30, but it just not feel like an inviting place. We generally like to speak to other guest and talk to the bartenders about the local area. They were not at all like most bartenders, not entirely rude, but not friendly at all.
However, the front desk people and shuttle person were just wonderful!

Excellent and clean!! I stay here about three times a year, (2 nights every time), and the Hotel has never let me down. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and the rooms are a pleasant end to a long day of work and the service is great.

Convenient to get into the city and the breakfast was amazing! Great for parking near gas stations to fill up for our next part of our trip.Staff extremely helpful and rooms great size and well equipped. If you are wanting to be near NYC but don't want to pay crazy prices and you have a car - this is a fab place to stay.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel while visiting NYC. It is convenient and saves a lot of money over hotels in mid-town. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is wonderful.

We arrived from Michigan in the late afternoon, and had an excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant. After breakfast at the hotel the next morning, we drove into NYC, for our visit to The Cloisters and the New Leaf Restaurant, both in Fort Tryon Park. This hotel was very nice, and the beds and pillows are fantastic. Thank you so much!

the hotel was nice and since we were driving we needed something with parking- getting into NYC leaves a lot to be desired though. If you drive you pay $13 just to cross the bridge, if you take the bus (which doesnt always run) it takes you to the A train (possibly the worst train in NYC). Getting the shuttle bus is more convenient then where it drops you off. We were supposed to get off at a certain stop and the bus driver forgot to stop (thankfully our phones had GPS and we were able to find our way) The neighborhood is safe and nice.
I dont plan on driving again- it just isnt the way to travel to NYC, and therefore I dont find the need to stay out of the city.

Lo que mas me gusto de este hotel fue la gran amabilidad del personal. Quede impresionada. La senora que nos atendio en el desayuno fue muy especial con nosotros. Y nos ayudaron muchisimo dandonos guia de como movilizarnos en Manhattan. Ademas, las instalaciones eran muy limpias, bonitas, una decoracion neutra, camas comodas.
