Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by My Ft. Myers Expeerience Will not stay here again. The property is nice in the Lobby and common areas, but the rooms are old and dated. The room on the 4th floor adjacent to the elevator exposed me to loud groups of people who had no care to keep their voices down even a 3:00 in the morning. It is definitely a facility I will not re-visit. March 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Stay The location borders on a not so great location but we felt secure in the immediate vicinity of hotel and grounds. Parking was well lit. The room was nice and comfortable. The fridge was sitting on the carpet and the door was hard to open/close as it dragged on the carpet. A little tacky. Otherwise room was clean and bed comfortable. Easy accessible to location. Staff was friendly. Took our bags as we were early for check in. March 5, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The Staff ROCKED!! The staff at this Holiday Inn were all kind, positive and helpful. The pool area needed cleaned and the lounge chairs need replaced as one was broken. But, they have clean hotel rooms & hotel was clean and comfortable. Convenient as well. We were only there for two nights visiting family...but were pleased overall. March 4, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Service We stayed here 5 nights and had 2 rooms. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown area. Upon request we were able to get shuttle. The staff was very good. In the beginning we were not happy to have breakfast included but I was told that this hotel has restaurant but upon hearing our conversation the manager gave us breakfast voucher for the buffet and it was great. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rude staff, no internet Internet was down when I checked in, the front desk told me fixed "within the hour" or I would have left. No breakfast for Priority Club Platinum member. Rate was higher than I normally pay and I stay exclusively at Holiday Inn. Internet was still not back on by midnight. I am a business traveler and needed internet for business, had to leave the property to get internet somewhere else. I complained three time and was offered a free drink at the bar, but no one offered to adjust my rate. When I even suggested this the front desk almost laughed at me. they were rude and dismissive and I will not stay here again or recommend this property. February 9, 2014

Only one thing that really bothered us, was that there was a couple in the room next to us that argued and screamed for hours while we tried to sleep. We had called the front desk 4 times, yet the yelling continued. We wished that the hotel would have just escorted the couple out of the hotel. January 16, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by new years eve ball drop We had a very good experience on New Year's Eve night. at your Holiday Inn, We had wonderful meals, the service was very good and Savannah did a superb job all the way around at dinner. The shuttle bus to down town was a fantastic thing to do for your guests. We appreciated it very much. We just might do it again. January 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great First Visit We were able to use earned points for our 2 night stay at this hotel. Check in was easy and they did use our comments to assign us a very nice, quiet room. As Platinum members, we were given a coupon for a free appetizer or drink at the bar, a bottle of water and a package of cookies. It is nice to get the recognition of being a loyal IHG member. What I never understand is when 2 people check in why they give you only 1 water. Really? The water costs a few cents and the gesture of getting two bottles of water in the welcome back would be so much appreciated. The property was in a good location and there was a trolley stop fairly close by. We did check it out but didn't see a trolley the entire time we were in the area so I can't tell you if it would be worth trying to use or not. My experience always is it is easy to get to a downtown but you can never get back when you are ready. That being said, we took a cab both ways to downtown. It was about $7 each way. Well worth it for door to door service. The bar/restaurant on site was very nice. The bartender was incredible! She was attentive and welcoming. She did a fabulous job and you could really tell doing a good job was very important to her. If I had an area business, I would steal her for sure! The happy hour was really great and the food was good too. We ordered a dinner to take back and share and everything we needed was in the bag thanks to the fabulous bartender. I cannot for the life of me remember her name but she knows who she is. She is just plain great and makes the entire bar/restaurant experience a valuable reason to stay at this hotel. Don't be afraid to book and stay here. You won't be sorry you did. January 8, 2014

The immediate surrounding area is very commercial and not very photogenic but that did not detract from the facility itself. The hotel is old but had been completely renovated is the past 3 years. Nothing of note is exceptional. the staff department makes you feel welcomed. friendly, professional and courtious best discribes the attitude of the employees. If the owners of this location ever loose their staff, thier business would surely suffer. Be grateful of your employees. Updating your rooms and ammenities would go a long way in making this a very nice Holiday Inn location. January 6, 2014
