I experienced problems during check-in as a result of misinformation provided via the corporate room reservation agancy and the local staff provided absolutely no assistance with achieving a resolution. Their behavior was very unprofessional with no concern for customer service whatsoever.

Breakfast buffet included "oatmeal" that was mostly water and dangerously undercooked scrambled eggs.
If you want coffee, they bring a pot and pour it. If you want hot tea, you get your own hot water from a pitcher and put it in a styrofoam cup. Server did not bring requested glass of water. Bread to make toast was stale. Room had coffee maker and supplies, but no tea bags. Coffee breaks at conference did not include hot tea and staff appeared confused when I asked if I could get some hot water, then asked if I had my own tea bags.
Group luncheon included poor quality lettuce apparently left sitting out for hours and dessert was two cookies, placed on the plate with the meal so that they soaked up the liquid from the vegetables.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and all staff seemed to be very helpful and friendly, but food was so bad that I would recommend eating elsewhere. I was there for a conference and didn't expect gourmet food, but would have liked to be able to get a quick and decent breakfast on site before sessions began. The brownies at the afternoon break, on the other hand, were delicious.

During our stay we encountered a fire alarm and evacuation of the premises. The announcement was clear and concise. There was not an announcement to re-enter the building so there was confusion about if we should or not re-enter. After returning to our room there was another alarm type sound which was very short and did not continue. Assumed it was a reset of the alarm system or something.

I enjoyed my stay, was a pleasant surprise. The complimentary hotel shuttle was a nice surprise The hotel is in a great location to visit all of DT Fort Smith. I will stay here again, given the chance.

I have stayed at this location off and on for a few weeks now for as many as 4 nights in a row. Michael , the young man at the front desk is great, Daniele , the young lady at the restaurant, is wonderful. They are both really great at doing the job they have.
I am not sure if I will return to this location after my last two stays. The hotel staff don't seem to understand that they are in the customer service business. I have stood at the hotel restaurant and waited for over 10 min for anyone to come out from the back to seat me, when the place was empty. The staff seems to not care if the stand there post, they just take off , post unmanned. Food is good, just not hot. I one point I was checked two days early due to the man at the front desk didn't want to listen to me while checking in, I as for lower level, for four nights, I was first put on the floor 4, when I ask if he ( Kevin) had a lower floor, his reply was, did want a lower floor? Then only book me in for two of the four nights. Lacy called me and has worked hard to fix things, however her staff keeps dropping the ball.

Excellent customer service and friendly staff. any issue I had was quickly resolved and the hotel was very easy to get to from the Interstate. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay there in the future.
