Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bar/restaurant staff and odor The bar/restaurant was staffed with two bartenders/servers that were generally friendly but provided very slow service, and rarely checked back with our table to see if we needed anything. a simple club sandwich took about 30 minutes to be brought to our table during a period that I witnessed no other patrons eating anything... just drinking. My room was on the fourth floor and as I exited the elevator I was welcomed by a horrible odor of sewage. While the room and overall cleanliness of the hotel were acceptable, this odor was very unpleasant. Thankfully, the odor was confined to the area of the elevator and a bit down the hall, and did not exist in my room. Finally, this survey is somewhat lengthy. You may want to consider reducing its length and amount of detail. December 15, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service, restaurant temporarily unavailable The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and inviting. We were very pleased with the shuttle service and drivers. We needed picked up the night before departure at the Rental Car Service, and the driver was prompt and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. We were unable to utilize the restaurant. We went for an early dinner but a group had booked the restaurant, so it was temporarily unavailable to the public. Had to drive elsewhere. We did have a problem with the heating unit, but maintenance was very prompt at fixing it. December 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AAAHH Holiday Inn From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were in our room in less than 5 minutes from entering the lobby! I was recognized as a Gold Member, and enjoyed a free glass of wine at the lobby bar. The room was very clean and even had a small fridge to keep drinks cold. Beds were super comfortable! Great sleep! Breakfast buffet was great too! Can't wait to stay again! December 7, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to Stay I've read other reviews about this hotel. I must admit I was hesitant to stay. Im glad I did. This was on Thanksgiving weekend, a home game for the Cowboys as well as a youth Football Tournament. With all the madness, this hotel was a great choice. The staff was very nice, accommodating and attentive. There wasn't any obnoxious odors as stated in other posts. I assume they corrected that issue. The food and food service was good. Breakfast was hearty with good variety. Plenty of cook to order options if your not into the buffet. The hotel location was excellent. Close to airport with no notable airplane noise, variety of fast food and casual dining options within walking distance. The hotel is blocks off major highway making it easy to get around.
