We were there for 5 nights. Our bed was made the first night we were there and the last night we were there. Three days we came back to our room in the evening and found there were no clean towels. One day there was no toilet paper on the rollers. This property seemed to be more interested in filling their bar and dance floor with parties, rather than looking out for the comfort of their guest. The managers way of attempting to make things right was offering us a free breakfast one morning...I don't think so!

I have stayed at over 200 IHG hotels and this is by far the most unfriendly staff i have ever incountered. 1st stay i was waiting for shuttle from DFW for over 45 mins. i called the hotel again and was informed that the shuttle driver was just there and didnt see you, we wil send him again. he arrived and as i stepped towards the van he yelled at the top of his lungs HOLIDAY INN. i was only 5 feet from him. he made some stupid excuse about people not seeing him. 2nd visit , i needed to take the 4am shuttle to DFW, so i got to the front desk at 3:53 to find nooen there . after about 5 minutes and some noise making by me i heard a voice from behind a curtain saying" just leave your key" . when i informed the desk person that i was waiting for the 4am shuttle,he told me it had left already. i was quite upset and advised him that this would be my last stay at this facility. i guess i was too loud for him and i appolligized and told him i wasnt upset with him him rudley informed me that if i didnt SHUT UP he would have me removed from the premises. i have since stayed in the dallas area at other facilities and have good experiences. I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN

I was surprised at the modern feel of the Holiday Inn experience.
Newer Hotel. Great design, Clean, Friendly Staff. All the amenities a business traveler needs and then some. Great value with breakfast coupon included. Delicious and healthy choices for breakfast. Evening had activities planned for the neighborhood...but parking became an issue on a Friday night. Very close to the American Airlines Conference Center. Highly recommend it.

my friends and I stayed at this hotel for the Kenny Chesney concert weekend. This was a mistake. Upon entering the room we were greeted with a large white biological-type stain on the curtain that was blowing in the AC. after our first night, our room was never cleaned, we received no new towels and our bed sheets were still strewn on the floor. To make matters worse, as we returned from the concert, we found no parking available. Apparently the hotel was having a Chingy style Holiday Inn party in the lobby area. Our ear drums were assaulted by offensive rap lyrics, and we could hear it echoing up the elevator. I have called and filed report and just received an email today... one month later.
atrocious. This is not the level of comfort and hospitality I have grown accustomed to from IHG.

I would say to book this place if you have to. It's clean and quiet which is really just what you need but I was disappointed that on two occasions, the staff forgot to bring me something I asked for. On Saturday, May 25th, I asked for an extra blanket (their "blankets" are so thin) at 3pm and I was told this would be right up. I never got the blanket and was cold the whole night. My husband and I woke up with sniffles. If we were to have lowered the AC (which is a unit and not central), the room felt too humid so we left it at 74 instead of 76. The next day, Sunday, I asked for 2 extra towels at 12pm before heading out to the Ft. Worth Zoo so we could go swimming when we got back and have towels ready for the shower but we didn't get those either. When I called to complain at 7pm, I was told that I would have to pick up the towels because housekeeping was out. I told them that I asked for the towels at 12pm (before we left for the zoo) and I was told "oh well, you will have to pick them up now". I was surprised. The service here is not the best at all, even when we checked in a lady at the front told us "you will have to add your member points online yourself", I told her flatly that we never have been told to do this and, being gold members, it's not like this is our first trip. Then she changed her attitude and said she would add the points - this was odd to me. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this place, the towels are scratchy and non-absorbent, the bed is stiff and the "blankets" are nothing more than double sheets. If the Indigo Hotel wasn't in the ugliest place in Downtown Dallas, I would have stayed there, the blankets were plush and I slept comfortably with central AC. Plus, the staff at the Indigo were really nice but I think the building is awful and the decor is a joke - they have stenciling above the elevator that was applied backwards so the words are a mirror image of what they should be.

- Food has not changed in forever. Even after the previous Food and Beverage Manager was replaced. Good Luck Rosemary.
- I made two reservations 19-22 May (one customer paying) and 22-25 May (another customer paying). Made this clear when I checked in. I work International Programs (Government) and have several countries paying for travel.
- On the night of 24 May the night Manager came to my room and let me know I was supposed to check out 24 May. Not so much. See confirmation's 61206360 & 61213422.
- Not sure what it takes to get an upgrade at this location. Above reservations were made on 12 April 2013. May not have been enough advance to get an upgrade for a Platinum Elite member.
- Only reason for my return to this location was to meet up with a few friends (other frequent travelers# and see Rocket, Becca and a few other staff members that do provide good customer service.
- It is obvious the manager (Richard) does not care about his resources or frequent guests #out of town guests and not the local clubbers that come Friday and Saturday).
- Will not return to this location. It's going downhill fast.

The hotel was updated nicely. The room was comfortable and clean. The fitness center and bar/restaurant were great. The staff was very cordial and accommodating. The shuttle to the airport was convenient. Great hotel in a good location to the airport.
