I called the hotel from the airport just after landing at 5:00. I was put on hold for several minutes only to be disconnected by staff. I called back again and told a gentlemen at the front desk that I needed to be picked up from the airport. I was given the pickup point and was assured the van would be along to pick me up. Quite some time had passed so I called back a second time and spoke to a female at the front desk once again who told me that they were calling the van driver to find out where he was. They had also taken my phone number to give to the van driver so he could call me. I never received a call and waited another 20 minutes. By this time, it had been at least 45 minutes since I had landed. I was in the process of taking a ride from another van service that dropped close by to the Holiday Inn when the van finally showed. Needless to say after a long 3 1/2 hour flight and suffering from a chronic health condition, I was not at all happy with this poor service. After speaking with the van driver it was determined that the first time that he got a call from the front desk about my pickup was just 15 minutes prior to him showing up. He even showed me his cell phone proving that he never received any calls about me waiting until 40 minutes after my first phone call. He was also never given my phone number. I can appreciate the fact that the front desk may have been very busy but it is unacceptable that they cannot stop what they are doing for a quick moment to make the van driver aware that a guest is waiting to be picked up at the airport. Poor customer service.

The bar/restaurant was staffed with two bartenders/servers that were generally friendly but provided very slow service, and rarely checked back with our table to see if we needed anything. a simple club sandwich took about 30 minutes to be brought to our table during a period that I witnessed no other patrons eating anything... just drinking. My room was on the fourth floor and as I exited the elevator I was welcomed by a horrible odor of sewage. While the room and overall cleanliness of the hotel were acceptable, this odor was very unpleasant. Thankfully, the odor was confined to the area of the elevator and a bit down the hall, and did not exist in my room. Finally, this survey is somewhat lengthy. You may want to consider reducing its length and amount of detail.

Everything in this hotel is new. It's pretty far from local hangouts but was there for business and location was perfect for that reason.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and inviting. We were very pleased with the shuttle service and drivers. We needed picked up the night before departure at the Rental Car Service, and
the driver was prompt and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. We were unable to utilize the restaurant. We went for an early dinner but a group had booked the restaurant, so it was temporarily unavailable to the public. Had to drive elsewhere. We did have a problem with the heating unit, but maintenance was very prompt at fixing it.

This is a nice hotel. They do not provide a complimentary breakfast or coffee, but they do have a restaurant in the lobby of the hotel.
