I travel to Arlington with Family to visit Sixflags, the Hotel was very nice, clean and convinient location, only 5 minutes from Sixflags,
- Hotel does not offer complementary breakfast, i have a large family so i was very upset after eating i had to pay over $40 dollars for Cereal and Milk. Front staff should communicate upfront about their breakfast prices.

Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Hotel made the weekend very enjoyable. Was close to all the attractions we wanted to see!

this hotel had the worst service I have ever had any holiday inn. The staff was very unfriendly and not helpful at all on local info. I have stayed at several holiday inns and this is by far the worst. The manager was even rude when I spome to him about the staff. Never stay here!!

Thank you Calvin for picking us up promptly from the airiport and a BIG THANK YOU for offering us not just one (apiece) bottle of iced water from a cooler, but ALSO for telling us that we could have another one if we needed it. This alone made our visit shine!
The front desk on the other hand informed us that we were not entitled to a complimentary water because we were not Gold or Silver IHG Members.

this was our first time at this Holiday Inn, it was close to Ranger Stadium. We were flying out of DFW the next morning..............outstanding location, just a few minutes from the airport. Property is very clean and well kept

This hotel is convenient to our sons apartment so we have stayed here before. It is near the airport so it caters to the airline staff. This last stay was the first where we had multiple items that were not satisfactory. The TV had to be reprogrammed 2 times during the stay and we had to endure pixilating problems as well. Our door key had to be reset 3 times. Although they alluded to magnetic interference, we are always careful about that as we are older and do not like to run back and forth to the front desk to get into our room.

Friendly hotel staff offered total comfort. Bed was sublime, shower as well. Modern, appealing and clean room offering WiFi. Easy transfer to airport and wakeup call. I would not hesitate to use this hotel again..but I would bring my own food. Restaurant food was horrid, late in coming and service was totally unfriendly. Potato chips supposedly served with a burger were some orange colored Frito type thing. Stale hamburger bun and poor quality beef was unappealing, and the menu totally lackluster. I would change the cook and wait staff and brighten up the dark and gloomy room with some appealing decor. Looked like any old diner off the beaten track. What a startlingly contrast compared with the excellent hotel experience. Bring your dinner, and you will enjoy this very comfy stay.

I travel frequently and stay in lots of nice places. This Holiday Inn was outstanding. We held a 17 person, 2-day conference and had four meals catered. Everything was top notch. Staff was friendly and competent. Facilities were in great shape. Interesting artwork was everywhere. The shuttle to DFW makes this a perfect fly-in conference hotel.

Arrived at DFW from international flight late at night, called hotel to ask for shuttle while at baggage claim and they were waiting for us. Professional and courteous at all times. Room was very clean and the bed and pillows some of the best! Very quiet and peaceful. Had a great night of rest. Very close to airport. Exec. King room is set up for business and very comfortable. Large walk-in shower. I would stay here again.
This is the new Holiday Inn layout. I don't care for the lobbies but the rooms and halls are attractive. I miss the complimentary breakfast. That is the only negative about these new Inns.

Hotel located in great location where you can take Train to Downtown Dallas, and/or Downtown Fort Worth. Staff was nice and Friendly. Great Hotel and great Area.

We had an excellent time at this hotel. The staff was very friendly at all times. The bed and pillows were perfect. The room décor was very stylish. The hotel was very busy but we had no issues with noise. I will definitely use this hotel again.

For the last several months, I have been staying at the DFW South Holiday Inn hotel during the weekdays. This hotel has become my home away from home. And it truly feels that way because of the coziness of the rooms and the hospitality of the staff.
The rooms are clean, equipped with modern appliances and furnished with sufficient amenities. The beds with their abundant plush pillows and soft mattresses make for a peaceful, comfortable night's sleep--each night.
But above all, certain members of the staff go above and beyond in customer service. It feels so good to be greeted every week with warm smiles and good energy. They always strive to make my stay both comfortable and enjoyable, anticipating my needs and expeditiously satisfying my preferences.
Because of them, I always look forward to my next stay!

I specifically chose this hotel for its location. I knew I needed to overnight at DFW due to missed connections and wanted a hotel on or near the airport. The hotel claimed "complementary" shuttle service to/from airport and hotel. The hotel is NOT Listed on the list of hotels near the airport at the baggage claim area. I called the hotel directly and was given instructions of where to wait and it would be 20 minutes. Over an hour later, there was still no pick-up. A second call to the hotel went unanswered. So I had to take a taxi to the hotel. My "free" pick-up service cost me $28. When I explained this to the front deck, I was greeted with "you should have tried to call again". All of this took place at midnight. The waiting area for the free shuttle is on the lower level of the airport. At that hour it is dark and lonely. The hotel itself was new. But I never got to appreciate it much. By the time I got to the hotel, I only had 4 hours of sleep and then had to head back to the airport. I am hard pressed to recommend this hotel with this level of service. I am not impressed.

Desk clerk refused to look up my rewards club number at check in, said I should have done that when the room was reserved which I did. Reserved a king room and was given a room with two queens. When I showed my confirmation e-mail to the clerk reflecting a king room she argued no hotel guarantees room types when rooms are reserved. When asked to switch rooms I was denied.
This happened to several people traveling with me. One family checked in a few hours before me was given a king room when they had a confirmed reservation for two queens. Again the clerk argued no hotel guarantees room types and refused to switch their rooms. They were forced to find a different hotel.

was there for a baseball tournament and found the rooms and atmosphere to be extremely comfortable and relaxing. the food was great in the bistro and all of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions I had. would recommend highly! will stay there again for sure!

The shuttle took an HOUR, literally an ENTIRE HOUR to pick me up at the airport, despite repeated phone calls to the hotel. That is absolutely unacceptable for an 'airport hotel.' As a result, I was only able to get 5 hours of sleep and no apology was given from employees. This was my second, and last, stay at this hotel.

Great facility but your lobby staff is less than helpful and generally treats customer requests like an intrusion on their time. I was there for three nights on 2 seperate reservations. When I checked in on the first reservation, the staff member said I didn't have the second reservation and there was nothing she could do to assist me come to find out, I did have the reservation but she didn't look. In a another interaction, my group asked if the shuttle could take us to a local restaurant for dinner. They declined the first two locations becuase they were outside a 5 mile radius. No problem, so we selected a 3rd location that by my phone was exactly 5 miles but by his review on Google was 5.5 miles. I was told there are no exceptions and our request was denied even though we were using the hotel for a muti-day meeting. The man helping us didn't seem to care and we ultimatly had to spend over $50 for a taxi. I understand there are limitations, but an exception was warranted. I was disappointed he didn't seem to care.

Had a easy time booking shuttle to the airport.
Returning from our trip, simple phone call and a shuttle picked us up much faster than anticipated.
On-site restaurant was a little pricey and food wasn't great.

I needed a snack to take a med with before the bar was open for food service. The gentleman went to the back to get me cheese and crackers and was attentive to make sure that would be enough. He was very friendly and helpful.

Overall this hotel was nice and staff was nice and accomodating. The lobby area is a bit tired but overall not bad. The one big issue I had with this hotel is the shuttle. After flying, I had to wait for the shuttle for all of 1 hour and 15 minutes which included two phone calls. Not to mention my flight landed late (8:30pm). In the time I waited for the shuttle, about 5 or 6 other Holiday Inn brands were shuttle through picking people up all the while I waited on my hotel shuttle. An extreme inconvenience considering the time of arrival and waiting well over an hour to be taken to my hotel. Furthermore, there was no offer of compensation for the extreme inconvenience...very disappointing.
