We have spent nice holiday in Frankfurt and this is the second time we stay at this Holiday Inn. We had Executive room with nice view. Staff were very helpful.
One comment, there is no access for baby strollers to car parking. I had to drive the car in fron of the hotel gate to pick up the kids.

Hotel is in a good spot, with good views of downtown. Buses come right out front and taxi across the street.
The food is ok, but the elevators are way too small and slow...
Need new TV's and better supplies in the bathroom.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and courteous. There is a wonderful restaurant just two blocks away that was historic with great food and resonable prices. They are fairly near Sachsenhausen and about 20 mins. from the airport by taxi, which cost about 33 Euros, and 15 mins. from the hauptbahnhof which cost about 15 Euros. There are also S bahn and buses to the centrum. Be sure to check your own flight status, as we were given wrong information from the desk, however. Highly recommended.

I travel throughout the world. There is absolutely no place I stay that has the staff and attitude that truly makes me feel at home, like the Holiday Inn City Center South, Frankfurt.
It is a true gem of a property, mostly because the staff, to a man (and woman) are the most helpful, friendly group I have encountered in my travels.
When available, I will stay NOWHERE else. I hope the whole team knows how much a traveler like me appreciates their kindness and efforts. I also hope to enjoy their company for years to come.

Paying a lot for internet access is not what you would expect these days. This should be free of charge.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Good stay, some small things
The room was very spacious, staff were very helpful and friendly. The views from my room were very nice. One thing that was somewhat annoying, was that the rooms were somewhat noisy. In the mornings, you could hear the doors of other rooms closing. Plus it was quite windy during my stay and this resulted in a howling noise that was because of the door. I put a towel in front of it and it was less. Perhaps sealing the bottom part of the main door could reduce the outside noise. However, I would still recommend this hotel for all the other good things of the hotel.

Absolutely fantastic. Exceptional service, in all areas of the hotel. Our room was exquisite, well presented, warm and inviting. The food was 5 star and presented by extremely friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere. the beer was cold and the bar snacks a nice touch to round out the days activities. Our stay was for our 60th Wedding anniversary and we will always remember our stay.
Many thanks to ALL staff. Absolutely fantastic.

This hotel is clean, fairly modern and is in a good location in Frankfurt. The room was comfortable. However, the amenities were not up to par. The internet service was spotty...and when it did work, there were multiple access screens, passwords, etc. which you had to navigate. I phoned the front desk on multiple occasions to try and get a wake-up call; the first few times the phone rang and rang, no answer. The bar is comfortable, however it took almost an hour to get a simple burger and fries!
