La réception, censée être ouverte 24h sur 24, l'est, mais déserte pendant des heures au petit matin.

I witnessed some of the the most rude, condescending and unnecessary treatment of guests by your front desk staff that I have ever seen.
I think that the issue started when some of the names didn't match up with the names on the reservation. Duh,...it's a GOLF trip. Guys always cancel out on GOLF trips. It is hard to get a foursome and keep it the same for GOLF trips. Your hotel is attached to a GOLF course. You should be prepared for this and be used to it.
Anyway, a condescending attitude when you are checking in leaves a bad taste in your mouth for the rest of your stay in a hotel.

This hotel is at a beautiful place and has great view. The front desk is very friendly and professional. The room is comfortable. However, the breakfast is not impressive. It is very convenient to go outside having breakfast or other meals.

A great experience. Beautiful hotel, hospitable staff. Room was quiet and I felt very safe as a female traveling alone. Nice to have the onsite restaurant!

I was looking for a clean safe place to spend the night. I was hoping for an express, but got a full service. There were a lot of features I was not going and could not use. The room was clean and bed comfortable. It was just over budget. I stayed because of my IHG membership.

Have stayed many times over the last three years for weekend vacations to Front Royal. Facility still excellent, service and restaurant have become average.
Checkin: No IHG rewards noticed, had to ask for breakfast vouchers purchased, was not offered and did not receive rewards points for missing check-in welcome snacks.
The Houlihan's restaurant is declining rapidly. Menu has been drastically reduced, full breakfast menu replaced with buffet that kitchen staff are reluctant to refresh with hot food, hit or miss food preparation and service. In past bathrooms were unheated in winter time, staff have seated our family in bar area rather than dirty empty restaurant. Convenience and a few excellent regular servers are only reason we're not eating at nearby shopping center.
Checkout: Hotel is relatively empty as typical on Sundays. Call desk to request late checkout to take kids to pool before leaving. Same front desk staff member places us on hold to check with housekeeping. Does not return from hold, does not call back. No housekeepers nearby. Walk down to desk ask new staff member for late checkout. He offers 15 minutes. Inform him that we stay regularly and have 2hr late checkout without issue. He asks "oh are you a rewards member", then allows 1hr 15 minutes. Rushing to leave housekeepers on floor tell us no worries you've got plenty of time.
