We have been in Holiday Inn in Fulda only one night on the way to
our holiday. We were with our two children. We felt very comfortable there: the rooms are large, the breakfast is rich and the staff is very friendly, also to the children.

Everything was fine, with just one small exception, which however doesn't change the positive impression I got from the hotel.
The fitness room doesn't have running facilities,
for such an hotel you need at least two of them
try to solve this
best regards

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JelleW Stop-over on holiday travel
I stayed at the HI Fulda with my family for one night as a stop-over on our way to Austria for a ski holiday. The three rooms were very close to each other, as requested.
The staff was very helpful, quick check-in. They let me park my car in front of the hotel as the car would not fit in the garage (too high due to roof box).
We did not have much time to enjoy all amenities of the hotel, but in any case the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Retireeurope Great location, nice HI
Stayed 3 days, December 6,7 & 8, at the Fulda Holiday Inn. Nice hotel typical Holiday Inn, however better then most. The hotel charges a significant premium for rooms during Christmas Market, (however being a capitalist I am not offended) The first night was bad due to a "Rockin Party" in the auditorium/breakfast room on Thursday nite. It went on till 1:00AM. The rest of the time was fine. Good food at breakfast, breakfast staff was wonderful. Most of the staff were good. The girl who checked us in was not pleasant. A new staff member started to check us in. Then the "control girl" (who acted in charge) took over and she was a real deal. She also scammed us as we left by presenting a charge ticket in dollars, not Euro's. I should have known better The hotel uses a very unfair exchange rate. Cost $18 extra, not the money but pretty scummy. The room was clean and comfortable. Good wifi. The location is excellent, walk to everything. The train station is a easy walk, less the half a mile. We would probably stay again and watch the charges.
