Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location for UF! Not luxury The hotel trades on its proximity to the university. As far as overall experience, it was average. It is neither the nicest nor worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. The good? Location, the restaurant, and the staff-They are all exceptional. The front desk was VERY welcoming, and gave great recommendations on food and the area. The restaurant offers a varied Italian menu,and the pizza is truly tasty. The location is top-notch, as one literally crosses the street to campus. The bad? They've been mentioned before, I will echo them: The ceilings in the room are seven (7) feet. I am 6'3", and felt a bit claustrophobic. The wi-fi is as near to useless as one can get without being nonexistent. The overall feel of the room is dated, but not objectionably so. If you are looking for a great location and average accommodations with great service levels, this hotel is a great choice. Will I go back? Probably, if it is just me. If my wife is along, we will more thank likely choose a nicer hotel further from campus. October 3, 2014

It's not very appetizing. And the little containers of milk are good for cereal but then there's so much waste. It would be much better to have milk in containers like the OJ is. October 2, 2014
