Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Pillows The pillows are small and hard. This seems to be a nationwide problem with Holiday Inn. However, Holiday Inn Express has full size conferrable pillows. Holiday Inn spent a lot of money to make guests unconformable. I stay at this hotel about once a week for one night but take my own pillows. This hotel is convenient for business or I would stay somewhere else. Also, I had to fix the TV myself. There is a small IR receiver stuck to the top of the TV for the remote. It had come unglued from the Velcro. I then had to select the correct TV input. October 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, Friendly Staff, Excellent getaway! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend getaway trip last weekend. We had originally booked another hotel and upon arrival, found the rooms to be disgusting. They hadn't been cleaned - there were hairs all over the bed, urine stains on the comforter and bugs on the floor. We frantically started calling other hotels to find a different one. Holiday Inn in Garland worked with us on such short notice and got us a fantastic room for a great price. The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the service was excellent. They even provided fresh out of the oven cookies for us when we arrived. Talk about great customer service! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! October 10, 2013

The beds are very comfortable, and the service and facility are up to Holiday Inn standards. They have great coffee in the mornings, but wonder why they don't provide a pot where guests can pour a "for-the-road" cup themselves. I knew they had a restaurant but only discovered the breakfast buffet when I asked for a "to-go" cup of coffee and discovered the buffet behind a solid wall in the dining room. A free snack for Rewards Club members isn't much of a reward. September 23, 2013

Clean comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, very reasonable rates, and near several restaraunts. In a nice area so you feel reasonably sure your vehicle will be Ok the next morning. I would definitely reccomend the hotel to anyone visiting Garland. September 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy, comfortable in Garland, TX I was very pleased with this hotel. Easy to find, plenty of parking near the entry, fast, courteous, friendly check-in. Nicely appointed room with surprisingly pleasing decor, feather pillows of assorted thicknesses (and labeled), ample desk/counter space for a laptop and spreading out my junk. The bed must have been comfortable, because I slept like a rock.The business center computer and printer is complimentary. Most of the light fixtures in the room had 2-way bulbs, which, for me, adds a measure of "home." The cleaning staff is completely on top of things. My 1 and only minor disappointment was that the hydrolic lifter on my office chair was busted in the down position, and there was no coaxing it any higher. What a wonderful place, great room, comfy bed, bar, restaurant great breakfast buffet, and very friendly people, what else could you ask for..all at a great price. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I AM FED UP! I stay frequently at this HI while on business trips to Garland. It is a hassle to have your company pay by a company credit card. On my recent stay (6-30 to 7-2-13) I have had to deal with this problem 3 times. I am now on vacation having to use my time to still rectify the same problem. I spent an hour on this issue on the second night of my stay because they had charged the room to my personal card that I put up for incidentals. I checked in with the front desk the next morning to get a CC authorization for my boss to fax back in to assure the company CC was charged. I confirmed that they had received it when I came in that evening. Missy, who is the only person in the whole place that cares about Customer Service, took care of me & walked through the process to be sure it was corrected. I verified with Missy that everything was good before leaving Wednesday morning. Today...they have charged my personal debit card with the last two nights stay. The front desk is powerless to help. I was promised a phone call from the Gen Mgr as soon as he arrived at 8:30am. He has not even shown up yet & no one else can help I'm told. I asked to be sent to his voicemail....It's FULL....cannot leave a message. Called back to impart to the front desk that it was imperative that this issue be dealt with this morning....they are screening the call & send me to heis already full voicemail again. I'm fed up....staying here is way too much of a hassle. If my billing issue is not resolved to my satisfaction before 2pm today, 7-5-13, I will no longer stay at this or any other Holiday Inn. Customer Service here is a joke. If you travel on business.....I would avoid this place. OH...and you can cancel my rewards club membership. July 5, 2013

Nice and knowlegable staff with great customer service. No matter what time of night always a positive enviroment. I would recommend this area for other family and friends. One of our little kids happen to mention that there weren't any pancakes. One of the staff nearby heard and went and made pancakes for them out of the kindness of their heart! June 16, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Our stay at the Garland, TX location was great. We were there for four days. The staff was always nice and friendly morning or night. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was very good. We had an emergency and the staff was right there to help us. What touch me so much, the next day each time we went downstaris they always asked were we doing okay. That meant so much because they were still thinking of us long after the emergency. I am sure all location are great, but I will always stay at this location when I visit Richardson, TX. Thanks again for your wonderfull staff. June 3, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay Decided last minute at late night to stay here. Glad we did. Very nice room at a great rate. Extremely comfortable beds. Entire facilities, inside and out, were in very good condition and clean. The staff was friendly and ready to accommodate any request we may have had. Breakfast was very good and in plenty supply, as well as seating. Great place to stay, and we plan to stay here when we are in town again. March 22, 2013
