Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent location for Gatwick flights As a regular user of Holiday Inns/HIE the hotel was exactly as I expected. Superbly situated for our early morning flight from Gatwick with excellent shuttle service albeit the bus stop at the airport is a five minute walk from the Terminal. Rarely have I had such a friendly and super efficient experience at Reception. Outstanding! For the price the room was very adequate for our needs and the only slight irritation was the softness of the beds. We had a three course dinner and the food was acceptable without being exceptional. Good service. In our situation the stay was very short but the hotel satisfied our needs. January 29, 2015
