Stayed 1 night prior to a holiday abroad and found it to be an excellent location with only a short bus ride to Gatwick Terminal. Room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the food in the restaurant.

Room booked for 2 persons but set up for 1.
Mugs towels etc.
Room advertised as executive but not as large or as smart as some other holiday inn standard rooms I have stayed in.
The furniture was threadbare and the bathroom well past it's sell by date.
Overall very disappointing start to holiday.
No price reduction as we leaving before 6,am so cooked. Breakfast not available.
No proper explanation of parking system and return to hotel
Menu limited on the package

Booked the VIP Parking Package and must say one of the best deals I have EVER booked. Would use it again and thoroughly recommend it, as I said Brilliant value and package well done Holiday Inn !

Staff were very helpful.
Bus service to the Airport excellent.
The ability to leave your car at the hotel was much easier and more convenient than using "Airport parking companies" and made for a more relaxing holiday.

Check-in and check-out were excellent, the room and early morning breakfast were very good, staff very helpful and transport to/from airport easy and quick. We used to go to other hotels, but since we found the Holiday Inn with the 8 or 15 day on-site parking, we always now choose it, and Priority club discounts are very welcome.

We were so happy to be greeted by Gema, reception staff. Holiday Inn has to be so happy to have her at the front desk. She greeted us warmly, graciously took care of all our questions, right down to printing our boarding pass. Her performance was outstanding!
We were delighted to find wash cloths in the bath - most unusual in a European hotel and most appreciated by an American.

The many times I have been there I had a good rest after the flight. When merchandize was delivered for me it was very well taken care of by the desk staff and delivered to my room.
Also, because of late return flight on the day of departure, I was always offered to occupy my room for some additional hours without extra charge

Although we were satisfied with our recent stay at this hotel, we shall not be staying again. The coaches are now obliged, by the airport authorities I presume, to drop off/pick up passengers some 1,000 yards from the terminal entrance! This is not funny when one is being dropped off/collected at some unGodly hour of the day and dragging heavy luggage. Granted, this is not the hotel's fault, but it IS their fault that they don't advise people when booking! Beware everyone - unless you have trained for the London Marathon!

Thank you very much for your hospitality. Smiling faces at the front desk. All my requests were honoured. They offered my friends a free car parking space as a gesture of goodwill. I was being recognised as Platinum member which doesn't happen often at other places.
I had stayed here in the past & mid age lady at the front desk checked us in was superb. I did not get my upgrade!! but she convinced me well!!
Nice Location, Good Value for Money & Great Hospitality!!!

I booked the hotel as we were flying out at a very early hour the next day and travelling with 2 children. Wasn't expecting anything too flash and hotel exceeded my expectations. All staff were friendly and helpful and bus was on time and we got to the airport easily.
Upon return car was in car park and easy to pick up and drive home.Will use again if needed. No complaints.

Hotel was very good except that we had a family room which was a converted sofa as the other bed which was very thin and uncomfortable. Apart from that the hotel was good and used the car park for storing our car while away on holiday.

the hotel is ideal for over night stay before flying out the next day, staff are friendly, rooms are decent with the exception of the sofa bed which looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time! the hotel in general was clean and tidy.

We arrived after 5pm for a 1 night stay with 8 days parking, the night before we went on holiday.
Check in was very quick and efficient, and the room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a tea and coffee tray, but a couple of biscuits would have been nice!
We ate in the Traders restaurant - the service was very good and the food was great.
Check out was just as simple, and leaving the car was an easy process.
On our return after our holiday, the car collection process was quick.
Would highly recommend.

When we arrived we were greeted courteously by the staff and with a smile. The rooms were simply furnished, clean and tidy. It was a little noisy at times when people were coming and going but overall good experience. Would stay again.

Only problem i had was a noisey family across from my room and for some reason they did not shut the door and the kids were noisey. Fortunately it did not last for long. Apart from this all went well.

Restaurant staff are very pleasant, and helpful.
All of your staff are very smart, and take pride in their appearance.
The hotel manager is always on site, acknowledges regular guests.

This is a difficult hotel to find - location signs are few and far between.
Once there check in was so smooth and staff very helpful. Everything explained and reservations made for eating that evening.
Great choice on the menu and excellent food.
Hotel has a large pub type atmosphere and large tvs blaring so not ideal for eveyone - but you can eat at the tables away from them and still be inside.
Great shuttle bus to the airport - very frequent.
Safe parking.
