Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Äußerst günstige Lage Äußerst günstige Lage, vom Hotel aus kann man den neuen Hafen (falls man Kreuzfahrer ist) schnellstens erreichen. Man kann aber auch zu Fuss in ca. 20 - 30 Minuten den alten Hafen, also das Zentrum erreichen. Unser Zimmer liess keine Wünsche offen, es war mehr als komfortabel mit einem grossen Balkon und allem, was zu einem gelungenen Aufenthalt dazu gehört. Erwähnenswert ist auch der hervorragende Service. Wir können dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen. November 20, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to the IHG brand standard This has to be the worst Holiday Inn I've stayed in and does not match the usually reliable standard of this brand. The breakfast was very limited and when I asked for two fried eggs I was charged an extra €8 to my amazement. The Internet access in reception I needed to use to print my boarding passes was the slowest I've ever used. It was so slow it was unusable. In the end I gave up and used the 3G on my phone. The bar seemed permanently closed and I received zero recognition for being a platinum IHG member. I am returning to Genoa in May and have booked a different brand hotel. I won't be rushing back here! November 13, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Average hotel - Poor sleep due to noise Arrived Saturday mid afternoon. There was a fairly loud high pitch hum permeating the corridors (especially the elevator area) and the room (not the reception) on the 7th floor. It sounded like the hum of a big transformer or a distant alarm (possibly from the air conditioner). I informed the reception and requested a room change but the situation was identical on the 2nd floor. Talked again to the reception and they said they would inform maintenance. 2 hrs later the situation was still the same. Reception said that there was nothing else they could do and next action would be to talk to the manager/director who would only be available next day. The noise stayed through the night.
