Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay - couldn't include next day dinner It was a comfortable stay - mattress a bit too soft for me but I did get a good sleep. The next night I had a big dinner for 6 people but was not able to include it on my hotel bill as I had to close my bill beforehand when I checked out at 2PM. I would have liked the extra points for dining at Bonne Auberge. There should be a way that this loyalty (using HI restaurant) is recognised. January 24, 2015

Its downside is small bedrooms and bathrooms albeit the latter in the room we stayed in was modern and looked pretty new. The bedroom itself was comfortable if a little dated. Very refreshing expereince for a jaded trraveller. Anytime I'm in Glasgow in future, I'l try and make sure I'm booked into this hotel. January 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hogmanany 2014 We arrived in a family group, and have to say felt very relaxed in the hotel atmosphere from the outset. The dining tables were set beautifully and we loved the round tables, and the fact it was no a large affair, just enough people in the party to make it enjoyable. The meal was lovely although some would have preferred a choice of menu (perhaps two choices of each starter and main course). However, it was very enjoyable. Overall we had a lovely stay.
