I had a very good opinion on Holiday Inn hotels, but this time, it wasnt good at all. the room was very old fashioned and no tea/coffee was kept in the hotel room.

We have been staying here for many years, but this time the room was not up to the usual standard. Our main concern was the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom. We did report this on checkout, so when we return on the 25th June ( still to book.) we will expect our room to be of the usual standard.

Booked this overnight stay in transit from Lanzarote. Decided to pay for Deluxe Room and services because it was the last night of our holiday. Nothing deluxe about the room on the 8th Floor, in fact we had to ask for toiletries and the extras we had paid for at 10.30pm at night. Before this we had dinner in the restaurant and had to send lamb dish back as it was raw. Overall, definitely not worth the money we paid and not a good advert for Holiday Inns.

A member for a lomg time,As the central heating was not working it was terrible trying to get the heat up as we are both disabled it was not a nice experience,they gave us two portable heaters to heat the room up,and to cap it all when we went to check out they wanted an extra £10 for parking our car???

- the staff were very pleasant and helpful
- the room was half the price of the unpleasant and remote Holiday Inn Express (if booked a couple of weeks in advance)
- parking was available at a good price and with frequent transfers
- the website is easy to use- the bar food was entirely adequate and not exorbitantly priced
- it is within easy walking distance of checkin

For an airport based hotel, I could not believe that each time I had to use reception, there was one person present whilst 3 positions are available behind the desk. Considering that this hotel is next to the airport and reception can be quite busy with gusets checking in, checking out or just needing assistance with getting parking tickets validated, I found this totally unacceptable.
I will NOT be staying here again when working in the area.

perfect prelude to an early morning check in. Check in from 2 pm previous day made for a relaxed introduction to our trip. An early dinner and early to bed, then cooked breakfast in the morning the best scenario possible. Check in just across the street.

As a regular customer at frequent intervals with you over the last several years I now avoid using the dining room at night due to the curt attitude of senior dining room staff. Breakfast staff and desk staff are exemplary.

Came home from holiday in the early hours of the morning and stayed in this hotel overnight.
Excellent for an overnight stay, rooms well small but adequate for sleep and refreshing yourself prior to travelling home. Reasonable cost and helps to make your journey home safe instead of coming off of late flights and driving 2 - 3 hour journeys home. At least you are refreshed and get a breakfast and arriving home (maybe later than you wanted) but at least safe and sound.
It was also quiet and not noisy.

For an airport hotel in britain, the room was as good as they come. The restaurant food can only be described as abismal, we ordered a platter of cold meats and bread etc.we were then sold bread to eat before the platter came, we were not told that bread would be supplied with the food. The bread was stale to the point of being hard, the platter did not have scotch egg, as advertised, and no option other than take it or leave it pork pie.The cheese that was supposed to be there wasnt and the waiter took pity and found us some cheese and replaced the bread, still stale and hard.We ccommented to the staff and they commiserated!!
On check out we were asked if our stay was ok and , of course, we commented on the foosa nd when the reception person realised that nothing had been done reduced, but didnt delete the food cost.
The last time we stayed the food was good, such a pity it has change, to the point we didnt even bother with breakfast.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was a 2 minute walk to the terminal, comfortable room, fantastic shower (the bathroom was a sauna after our showers!), super food and great night's sleep. The staff are very friendly and we had a lovely stay.

Having stayed here several times our recent experience was not up to the standard we had expected. We were extremely tired after a long journey and as the beds were clean we decided not to comment until the morning. The room which we were allocated was grubby, the furniture showed signs of rough treatment and the seats were stained. The sealant behing the bath taps was disgusting. We were told that we would be contacted regarding our comments but to date (nearly two weeks later...nothing)

I stayed at this hotel night before my flight to save me rushing around early morning,i had a very relaxing stay in a lovely room on 7th floor.I had stayed there previously on 1st floor and staff member at desk tried to put me in same room as i said i had like it but unfortunately it was booked,i felt it was a nice touch that he tried to do it for me.
This hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere from when you walk in the door,i also had room service which was very prompt and food was good,i would certainly stay here again.

I had to wait 5 minutes to be seated, even though the restaurant was not busy.
The food was average, and that's being generous. The prices were also expensive.
I had to ask for my bill twice, and had to wait somewhere in the region of 20 minutes before i received it

The room was extremely cold and could not be regulated. Our dining experience on our second stay was not good. We invited friends to join us for a meal and two of our meals (lamb) were inedible.. The lamb chop was of poor quality and the roast potatoes were burnt on the outside but hard on the inside and the price charged for this was £15.75. We did complain to the waitress who said that the "chef apologised". This was embarrassing as we had asked our friends to join us. We were going to have breakfast until we found out the charge was something like £13.75 each. We then went to Glasgow Airport and got a similar breakfast for £6.75. We were more than disappointed.

I have stayed in this hotel so many times, but things have changed, and not for the better. I thought I was in a room at the Holiday Inn Express.
Normally with the tea and coffee , complimentary shortbread biscuits was included. None this time and one coffee cup.
The duvet was so thin I had to use the other one in the room as I was so cold. No weight in this duvet. The pillows are so very old but they state "firm" "soft" but the truth? None were comfortable.
No extra blanket offered either.
Not sure why the change but it's not good. It's so handy for the airport, what choice do we have especially for those very early morning flights.

Arrived late evening to a friendly and courteous check in at Reception. The room was clean and quiet , the bed comfortable
Breakfast was hot and appetising, and checkout ,again , friendly and courteous. Downside was, I couldn't get the shower over the bath to work, but the bath was ok for a single night stay.

I have stayed at this property several times and am always satisfied with the entire experience.
Our twin executive room on the sixth floor was clean and comfortable. (I would've been happier had the secondary glazing panel been fully-functioning, as it would've helped retain the heat better and also cut out the external noise. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.)
The staff we encountered were professional.
Overall this was a good experience.
Recognition for Priority Club members is always good here too, which I appreciate.

Closest hotel to Glasgow Airport (GLA) - you walk from where the 500 bus leaves you (i.e. the terminal). Breakfast starts from 5am - took all the stress from an early flight for holidays. Nice staff, decent room, good night of sleep.

Whenever I have an early flight out of Glasgow I stay here. I always get a warm welcome, the room is always clean and comfortable, and early morning check out is a breeze. I would like it if they had free wireless internet, but the fee of 10 pounds is not too steep. My other concern is that the early morning wake up call is done via the TV. It is probably intuitive to most, but for the technically impaired it is a challenge, but doable. The best thing is the proximity to the airport - can't be beat!
