After a long car ride from san antonio texas to our final destination of corona california. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. very little noise to enjoy a good night rest. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by emergency stay because this was an emergency stay, as our air went out at our home a half mile away, we chose to stay here. the front desk staff was very nice the first two nights, but we were very confused by the sliding scale of room rates, as our stay needed to be extended. Every night was more costly, and it didn't seem to be a very busy hotel. (with only 2 cars in the parking lot, 1 being mine) we ended up checking out and going to another hotel (not Holiday Inn) for an additional 3 nights! was surprised the front desk clerk on Monday night (6-23) was not more helpful. the hotel is very nice, and beds are very comfortable, as well as feeling safe in the hotel. The breakfast and service for breakfast in the morning was undoubtedly one of the best meals we had while traveling from New Mexico to California. Stay here. You will not be disappointed. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exhaust Fan in Bathroom Was awakened at about 2 AM once by the sound of the bathroom exhaust fan coming from the adjoining room. The reason I say it was the bathroom fan and not the air condition sound is because the bathroom fan in my room was also louder than the usual sound . Aside from that, I had no problem with the room, the staff, or the hotel, in general. May 22, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Last room in the inn We got the last room available. It was very expensive stay for two nights. Understandable because of spring training. Not so much spring break. Too expensive for college kids. We are very grateful to one of your staff. A new hire I seem to understand. Liz found us the last room available. Greeted us the very next evening, when we arrived. Helpful with getting us settled in.we have been to Phoenix before but did not require much. We were a bit disappointed to discover that it was not a continental breakfast. We had stayed in Holiday Inn Express two nights prior in Page and Flagstaff. The breakfast service was atrocious. The service was horrible. The wait staff was untrained. They did not appear to have a sense of urgency and we were just the second table being served. For example, when asked to replace a dirty fork, he brought it back with an attitude, "here is an extra clean fork." The room was above expectation, a king size suite. We always search out holiday inn expresses when we travel. Hotel staff is always top notch. Liz is a good example. I think we would not be so critical of the price if the dining area lived up to the same standard as other areas in the hotel. March 27, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely poor internet service I stayed on the 4th floor here on business and the wireless just kept dropping. I called the front desk and they had a service call me. i spent over an hour on the phone with this internet service and it did absolutely nothing but waste an hour of my time. I finally hard wired in but my iphone and ipad wouldn't even pick up the Holiday Inn wireless service. Frustrating when your here for business. Everything else was perfect. March 8, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Passing Thru The reason for us to stay was we just had a death in the family and after the funeral we had to drive 1000 miles and this stay was vital to us finishing the trip. The staff was so caring and empathic towards us it was like she knew us. The convenience of all the shopping around the area and beauty of the area made the stay very special considering the circumstances. I will make this a place to stop when I am in need in that area. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice but poorly staffed Several of my friends and I were spending the weekend in Arizona and booked (3 separate) rooms at this hotel. We arrived after check-in time (3pm and we were there after 4) and we were told that our rooms (all booked in advance) were not ready. We sat in the lobby for over an hour waiting for our rooms to be cleaned. The manager on duty gave us all free breakfast certificates for our wait, which was greatly appreciated. The next morning, we sat in the hotel restaurant for nearly an hour and no one ever even came over to take our orders. The waiter told us (when we sat down) that he'd 'be with us in a moment' and then never returned. After an hour, we left. The hotel itself is clean, and comfortable. The one issue was the lack of staff. We did laugh it off, but it would certainly keep us from returning to this hotel. February 26, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Smoking throughout the hotel is not acceptable although I was explicitly requested to sign a waiver to ensure I don't smoke in my room, the entire 3rd floor smelled like cigarette and especially my room. All neighbors around my room smoked and this made my stay miserable. I could not sleep for 2 nights and I have been coughing all the time. February 24, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed's Very Clean I have not traveled for some time, But I have to say I was very impressed with these Holiday Inn's you were the first Inn we used and I loved that you excepted my dog, this was alot off my mind. The room was so clean and fresh, the mattress was the best I have slept on ever and I'm very picky with mattress comfort. Love you had two pillows also very comfy you could pick firm or soft how clever. room dark no noise perfect temprature love the shower. I would recomend this to all I know.
