Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Can't go wrong Overall this hotel meets the standards I expect at Holiday Inn. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, and very friendly staff. My only complaint about the property is the strong perfume odor that was not only in the room but also in the hallway. I always suspect that this is being used to mask either a mold smell or some other problem and found the perfume to be extremely irritating. While my assumption may be incorrect, the smell was not pleasant. November 10, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 worst holiday Inn ever I stay in alot of places. Usually 20 nights average per month and always in an IHG hotel and this was the worst Holiday Inn I have ever seen. The lobby was great and made it look like a very nice hotel but the rooms were no better then a 50 dollar motel. This was the first time I have ever been disappointed. I will go out of my way to not stay here again. November 10, 2015

Two things made our stay at Holiday Inn Grand Island, Nebraska outstanding; their friendly, cheerful, knowledgeable staff and their terrific food. Check-in was easy though we didn't have a reservation. The facility was clean and attractive. The rooms were modern and comfortable. Everything worked - lights, outlets, plumbing, heating, exercise equipment. Every thing was clean, well-maintained and attractive. Dinner was outstanding, clearly prepared by a chef and served by a very cheerful, friendly, helpful server who clearly wanted us to enjoy the meal. Breakfast was perfect was a varied menu. The fruit they served was very fresh and tasty, the other menu items were well prepared and presented. We will definitely stay here on our next trip through Nebraska. Oh, and did I mention the staff and the food? November 10, 2015
